One of my new favorite gems in the city for Korean food. Let me just start by saying the staff is very friendly and helpful in introducing all the different menu items. Also, the place was very clean and tidy. The ambience is very chill and quiet for a very small place and lastly the best part the food was exquisite. I’ve had other K-food but this one dish so much to offer! I got six different types of foods to try in just one bowl. The dish was real savory & has now officially been added to my

So glad Korean-style Tonkatsu exists here in the US! 🥩❤️ I honestly couldn’t believe it — authentic Korean-style Tonkatsu right here in America! The soup that comes with it is so flavorful and comforting, and the cutlet itself is sliced perfectly, making it so easy to eat. I also love how generous they are with the sauce — it really makes the whole meal feel abundant and satisfying without feeling too heavy or greasy. It actually feels like a wholesome, healthy meal! This place is cute. It’s been on my list for a while and I went later in the night - actually it wasn’t even that late, but the downstairs was closed and only the upstairs was open The place is super cute however I guess because they just cleaned downstairs it had a strong cleaning smell, which I didn’t love The server was hot and super nice and informative The food here was great. I loved every single thing I ate. I’m a huge fan of Korean food in general. I could even order more food here. I

This bar offers a well-balanced combination of atmosphere, creativity, and professionalism. From the moment you walk in, the warm lighting and carefully curated music create a relaxed yet stylish environment, making it an ideal place to unwind or socialize. The bartenders are knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and it clearly shows in every cocktail they serve. As a Korean who grew up eating my mother’s exceptional homemade Yukgae-jang, I have high standards for this dish, and Woori Korean Restaurant truly delivered. The Yukgae-jang was outstanding—the chili oil wasn't overpowering, and the broth had a deep, rich complexity. It tasted like a perfect blend of beef and chicken stock, evoking a true sense of nostalgia. Highlights: The Food: The broth is top-tier. The side dishes were also well-executed; the sweetened black beans (Kong-jaban) were delig

While traveling from another state, my family was craving sushi and rolls. We decided to visit this place after seeing the great reviews on Google about their food and kindness. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! The service was incredibly warm, and the food was truly excellent. Since the restaurant is cozy and intimate, it was the perfect setting for our family to enjoy a nice conversation. I have to say it again—the food was absolutely phenomenal.A huge thank you to the owner for being so

I was at this very tasty KBBQ place a while back with one of my usual groups. The inside is casual, and our waitress, Jane, was extremely friendly and helpful from refilling banchan to cooking meats and otherwise. A couple of us shared a $13 bottle of the green grape flavor of Chum Churum, a soju. In terms of banchan, there was a bunch. Everyone got a cold and refreshing cabbage soup as well as a very tasty version of Braised Tofu/Dubu-jorim/두부조림. Once we ordered, we also got a bunch of other ba

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted like it was made with real care and quality ingredients. Service was quick without feeling rushed, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a special occasion, this restaurant is a fantastic choice. Food was okay. Not too expensive, but not the most impressive either. Do Not (!!) get the beef bulgogi bowl. The beef looks appetizing and juicy in the picture- it is not! It's dry and has no flavor but an aftertaste. Tried the spicy pork and squid- that was pretty good, nice portion. The garlic chicken was crunchy and flavorful. Service was friendly tho :)

No-frills fast-food place with Korean-style fried chicken & Korean-fusion pizzas, plus beer & soju.
Ordered Uber Eats and the pizzas taste fine, but barely have any toppings in the description. You can count on one hand "onion, green pepper, corn, ham, pineapple" pieces on the sweet potato pizza - didn't find a single pineapple, actually. Like 6 pieces of green pepper in the entire half and half pie, both of which are supposed to have it. Also, feels like over a quarter of some slices is just crust. It's so different from before that I came here and checked other reviews pictures. Not sure if

Odre is a really nice Korean restaurant that I feel is still a bit under the radar. It does not seem as widely known as some of the other upscale Korean restaurants in the city, but I actually think that makes it a good place to check out, especially if other popular spots are fully booked and you still want somewhere nice, polished, and thoughtfully done. The atmosphere felt sophisticated without being too intimidating or overly formal. It is the kind of place that feels elevated, but still co

I came specifically for the kimchi cold noodle broth, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Honestly, I enjoyed it even more than traditional naengmyeon. It was incredibly refreshing, flavorful, and perfect on a warm day. The kimchi pancake was another standout. The edges were perfectly crispy while the center stayed soft and tender—a texture that a lot of restaurants miss, but Dangol nailed it. We also ordered the rice balls. They were just okay. The filling was a bit sparse, so they mostly

Tried the spicy chicken with extra veggies and it was AMAZING 🔥 The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portion was great for the price. You can really tell the chef cares about the food and takes pride in her work. Super welcoming atmosphere, nice cool AC, and everything tasted made with love. Definitely coming back again. Came here for a quick team lunch and enjoyed how cozy it was! Good: - Good portion sizes - I liked the jjajyeon noodles a lot - great texture and also huge portion size - The kimbap was good but a bit flavorless - The kimchi pancake was super tasty! - Good value and the staff were nice Bad: - Took a bit for the food to all come out - The banchan was a bit small Overall this was a cute place tucked away and would try more stuff here.

I held a small birthday dinner here with my friends back in early December, so this is a pretty belated review, but I really wanted to write this because of their great service :) My friends apparently asked the staff if they could store the cake and bring it out to surprise me. Not only did they agree to this, but they played the birthday song on speaker, let us eat the cake there AND gave us all new plates and cutlery for it which I was really touched by. They also gifted us another bowl of th

I had the Beef Bulgogi Japchae. It was very good. The noodles stuck together in clumps, but I was able to shake them apart into bite sized portions easily. The Korean fried chicken wings were excellent. The fire soy garlic sauce has a nice medium spice that complements the flavor of the sauce. This was my first time trying Terra Korean Lager, and I was impressed. It has a light, crisp flavor that worked very well with my food choices. I would be here often if I lived closer.

Everything we ordered was so good!!no misses at all. We loved it so much we came back two days later with friends and tried more dishes, and everything was still delicious. Our friends loved it too. The shaved ice beer is a must!! It’s not just frozen, it’s finely shaved like a slush and so refreshing. Can’t believe we just found this place! We’ll definitely be coming back often!

This place feels like a hidden gem. Their Korean fried chicken wings are really good, and worth the trek if you don’t live nearby. I also had the kale salad and the seaweed salad. The kale in the salad could’ve been softer (lemon soaked, blanched, etc) but still pretty good. If anything, just come for the wings. Came out hot and fresh.

Little Banchan Shop is such a cute spot in LIC with a very modern Korean market/eatery feel. The interior is super aesthetically done with warm wood details, clean shelving, and a really calm atmosphere !! They have a huge variety of premade banchan, sauces, drinks, snacks, and prepared foods that all looked fresh and authentic. I am very familiar with the korean restaurants in the flushing area and not sure how I missed this place but have to say the food was AMAZING. Everything from the banchan (side dishes) to the meat marinade quality was excellent! Jeolla flavors came on strong (known for their deliciousness). Definitely a hidden gem! Also, recommend their dakdoritang. Probably top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. And definitely ask them to do the finisher with rice at the end for this.

KTown Octopus House (낙지하우스) is an authentic Korean restaurant that specializes in spicy seafood dishes, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had recently. The restaurant is small, with about eight tables, which gives it a cozy and intimate atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can really enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Pretty good food, the bignorm bibimbap was really well made and so was the jjajang myun. Gave a very authentic Korean taste. Service was very good, though the area is a bit small, so wouldn’t recommend if you wanted to dine in with a big group, best for 1-2 people or max three, unless the seats are taken up. They do have take out. The lemonade was also very flavorful and bright.

Among my fave spots around. The atmosphere is electric and they play every game! Enjoy their all-day happy hour, when you can receive five shots for $25 to $40 (depending on your poison of choice). The food is more typical of a pub, but it's great for a quick bite and priced friendly! Highly recommended their bulgogi quesadilla. Couldn’t gate-keep any longer!!

I recently had an amazing Korean food experience that truly hit every craving. We started with the Japchae (D), and it was absolutely delicious. The glass noodles were perfectly chewy, lightly sweet, and tossed beautifully with vegetables. It had that classic balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors that makes japchae so comforting. The Bulgogi (beef) was incredibly flavorful. The beef was tender, well-marinated, and grilled just right. It had that perfect smoky-sweet taste that makes bulg

Randomly stopped by Chipork and so glad we did. We ordered the half chicken and Chipork wings — both were super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The sides really made the trip worth it too. Went to Pelicana Chicken in Whitestone with my family last night and tried a few things. The food was very solid, but the pricing around extras left a strange impression. We ordered 20 bone-in wings, which were excellent in both flavor and crispiness. However, I didn’t love that they charged $2 for every sauce, whether tossed on the wings or served on the side—it feels more like a money grab than a value add, especially when most wing spots include at least one sauce option by default. TLDR: really loved our experience at Raon. In a city filled with Korean fine dining, Raon stands apart with its focus and passion for educating people on traditional Korean food, cooking and most importantly kimchi! SETTING: we made a res for 8pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant is beautiful, minimal, with a nice long counter that can fit about 12 seats per tasting. This is one of the few 3 star rated restaurants I see myself going back to. Let me explain. This place has a great atmosphere, friendly workers, and exceptionally quick service.
