Modest Dominican counter-serve offering all-day eats, including American breakfast & lunch specials.
The food is EXCELLENT! Juicy chicken with roasted skin (perfect!) fluffy yellow rice and savory pinto beans. I could eat this every day. Also the staff are very friendly and warm welcoming and forgiving of my poor Spanish also willing to help me practice. I got the tres leches and a beer as well (Latin music playing and over all great vibes! I’ll be back!)

Lovely experience in this Latin bar/restaurant. Had the Arepa which was delicious. Frozen Pina Colada was nice also. Place was quiet due to time of day but the decor was authentic and made for a relaxing aesthetic. Most notably the staff were very nice and helpful. I will be back for sure.

Luis is really amazing and makes you feel like you are home. The coffee is the “best in Brooklyn”! It really is the best. But that was just the beginning. Luis told me to experience El Salvadoran food I had to start with the pupusas. I wish everyone could have this experience! I had the pork and cheese pupusa with some tomato sauce and pickled cabbage on top, as well as a jalapeño cilantro green sauce that Luis brought out to try. It was a life changing experience:) and the cabbage is probioti

The food was okay, wish the meat was more like everywhere but it was all centered but still it was enjoyable..now my issue was with the person at the front desk..she was wearing a septum piercing ..first i came in with my boyfriend and asked a simple question…”are the poppies big or like regular size?” reason why i asked was because in most places they are bigger than “tortilla size” if im paying 5$ i want to know if i should get 2-3 ..dont want to get 3 and they’re big and then i dont finish it

Mitad del Mundo is a cozy spot in Queens with super affordable lunch specials — I don’t remember exactly if it was $16 or so, but the portions are generous and the price is definitely budget-friendly. The service is really good, and it’s a peaceful place. I’ve even brought my laptop and done video calls there without any issues. The first time I went was with a friend, and we tried some cocktails — they weren’t the best, to be honest, but the food was delicious! If you’re looking for a calm p

The food was good, the service... Not so much. The restaurant has two levels. The bottom level consists primarily of the bar section. Came on a Saturday night when it's full of guys drinking and listening to loud music. Our drinks and food came super fast. However, we only saw the waitress the one time it was necessary. There were some other workers, maybe cooks, on their phone. Not family friendly, at least in the pm. There wasn't any parking available near by. We had to park a few blocks away

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this Spanish restaurant, and unfortunately, I won’t be returning. From the moment I walked in, the service was completely unacceptable. I stood there for a full 10 minutes without being acknowledged — no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. To make matters worse, when someone finally decided to engage, they attempted to serve another customer who had arrived after me. I had to actually speak up and advocate for myself just to be recognized, which is some

This place was a hidden gem that we found in Corona, NY. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. The serve some authentic Peruvian food that's very flavorful. My wife and I ordered the Lomo Saltado (Carne) and the Pescado Frito (or fried fish chunks). Let me tell - the Lomo Saltado was some of the most flavorful Lomo Saltado I've had in a while. Juicy, well marinated skirt steak accompanied by grilled red onion and tomatoes, on top of a bed of French fries and white rice. They ha

I ordered through grubhub from here one item I ordered for my family and I was 2 chocolate mousse but received 2 large hot chocolate I can't see how you can mix the two up they are totally different so I called the place and the women didn't speak English. I asked did anyone there speak English she said no so it was just not good so many people speak English in the area and business can't be handled right because no one speaks English so I basically lost money because my order was fulfilled righ

Amazing food, you can tell they put their foot in. Never had a complaint about anything not the rice too salty or greasy, the beans and everything just as tasty. Just be alert when getting your bill especially dining in. They magically add their "15% gratuity" when its 2 or more people regardless of amount consumed.. 👎 Other than that, exceptional cuisine def recommend.

The Happy Hour Margarita was fantastic and they have wonderful Lunch Specials to order: Steak, Chicken, Pork, etc. Our waitresses were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The "to go" ordered meals and bakery are located in the rear of the restaurant. Hopefully I'll get a chance to return soon to try the Sangria.

Having said that this has too be the worst colombian restaurant I have ordered from. On a visit to one of my neighborhoods in the Bronx, I saw this "Caribbean" restaurant. When I got inside based on the menu I realized it was Dominican. I tried the yucca (cassava), sweet plantain and fried pork chunks. The food was ok. The customer service was on point for a neighborhood restaurant. I tried it because I saw people walking buy collecting food and leaving.

Black consumer beware! I know ppl have been going to this restaurant for as long as it’s been around, but the community really needs to reconsider. I went in after not going for some time, (literally more than a year+ - and only by invitation by my mother) and I was reminded why I NEVER GO IN HERE. I asked for the chicken with rice and beans. This used to just be a simple lunch special type order. You would have thought I asked for mountains to be moved and for heaven to be brought down to earth

Been coming to this place for years. The place is very small so there's not much room for you to move around. Food is always amazing. Every bite is flavor! I always get the rotisserie chicken and their pork shoulder! I always end up walking out with more than just that. Never a complaint. Service is always great and never had any problems. All the food they offer here is great. I haven't tried their dessert though as I'm not a dessert lover. Highly recommended. You can basically go in

Delicious, authentic Chilean food and hospitality. The service was so friendly and kind. The food was delicious and came out so fast. Fun, festive vibe with all kinds of Chilean touches. I had the "Bistec a lo pobre" or poor man's steak. My girl had the Giant Italian As, which she found delicious. I wasn't jealous. It was twice the size of the regular Italian As. It was a lot of fun. Might come back for Karaoke Saturdays? Enjoy

Went on an off day as a late b-day celebration during lunch hours. Place was empty but that meant service was all for us. Our party of 4 ordered a bunch of food and everything was absolutely delicious. I could drink the sauce. The servers were also very patient with my mom's awkward incessant questioning. Would absolutely return here. I wasn't drinking this time but next time I will.

Compact Peruvian restaurant specializing in roasted chicken, with spareribs & lo mein dishes.
I’ve eaten great food across Corona, but nothing compares to El Pollo Peruano. The chicken is tender, tasty, and seasoned to perfection. Peruvian food rocks. The rice complemented every bite, and the friendly lady at the counter made the experience even better. Quick service, flavorful food, and heartwarming hospitality. What else could someone ask for? Five stars!

Argentinian bistro with Italian influences serves regional wines in rustic whitewashed space.
My roommate is Argentinian and the rest of us are Korean so she took us to Estancia 460. It was our first time having Argentinian food and it was AMAZING. We ordered the fried calamari, Milanesa napolitana, and the parillada for 2. I’d say it was a lot of food for 4 girls but very tasty. I personally loved the parillada and fried calamari. We also had the crepes for dessert; it was warm and soft and sweet and delicious.

My experience! The service was great and fast. Stopped by for lunch ordered chicken chimi with fries. Honestly to me not worth the money, the chicken wasn't really seasoned at all, practically flavorless. The presentation of the sandwich is good but the flavor wasn't there. Only thing I can taste mainly was the condiments so was disappointed. The fries were good, golden crispy.

I placed an order on here via DoorDash. I just need to say that this is the most inedible food I’ve had in my life. The mangu, DRY. The salami, DRY. You guys didn’t even put eggs/fried cheese. No flavor at all. The mangu tasted insane. Wasn’t even enough onions. 2 pieces of onion … like where was the love??? I’m so disappointed and confused because I’ve ordered from here before. Do better.

I recently visited Bar Goyana and had such a great experience. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful—everything about the space was so thoughtfully designed and visually stunning. It really set the tone for the entire visit. The food was amazing from start to finish. The food is good, but I don't like how they change the menu items after you order and don't even realize until you get home. Combo's say, large rice, medium beans, salad or sweet plantains or totones, and a 2 litter soda. But if you pick rice mix with beans, they take it on themselves, not to give you the medium beans, and still charge you the $36 for the full combo. No where on the menu does it say if you pick rice with beans, you don't get the full combo n still will be paying the same price.

I was surprised to see such a dark and outdated place. The food did not look appetizing from the counter. So, since it was my first time....I ordered to take home, a Moro with onions on steak. I got home open to see my order....the meat just didnt look what i expected.... WOW.....one bite of the food....Delicious, tasty, the steak was tender....the Moro was just perfect. @Angel Baez, they're not waitresses love! The decor is very nice, music at these places for some reason is very loud and the "waitresses" there offer a different kind of service if you get my drift. It's not unlikely with the amount of hookah lounges and sports bars popping up all over the Bronx. They sell drinks, they have music and you pay to play with the "waitresses" if you have the right amount of money. Seems super profitable so it's not farfetched to find several on a single block.
