I have been wanting to come here for so long already… then i saw jacks dining room and came over before the hype goes to crazy!!!! Stopped around 3 o’clock Immediately ordered a fried chicken burger. The young lady is so nice. She told me you just got one of the last ones. There’s three more left. The dinner crowd won’t be getting any….. The sandwich is amazing…. The atmosphere was amazing. Staff was so nice. I’m so glad I came. I’ll definitely be back. I love Aussies!!

Amazing bakery! The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The coffee was excellent, rich and smooth. Great vibe inside, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll come back to. Highly recommend! ☕🥪

Went last night with friends. This pub has been of high interest in Jackson Heights since it is our new and only pub! It took a while to get gas approved to open the kitchen so it was operating as a bar only for many months. As of last month, though, the kitchen is operational! Went with friends last night for dinner. We all enjoyed our drinks and meals and are so glad to have this local option when we don't feel like traveling to Sunnyside or Woodside for pub food. The space is great with comfo

I arrived with my partner 10 minutes before they opened as we had heard great reviews for their limited irish breakfast plate and were the only ones waiting at the door when let inside. However, staff did not acknowledge us and took atleast 7 other people orders before they took ours despite being the first to arrive. Service here is awful. Waited for 40 minutes for food. Personally, I got the beef stew w/ mash potatoes but did not think the food was flavored accurately nor worth the wait nor tr

We happened to find the Westbury Irish Pub while we were in New York and we’re glad we did. The waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The food was excellent and, so far, it’s the best Irish breakfast we’ve found in New York. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everything we ordered was very good. We’ll definitely return next.

I would never come here AGAIN. Absolutely disgusting how racist the bartender is. The lady with the black hair didn’t want to serve my boyfriend because he’s black. My boyfriend spoke up about her not serving him and serving everyone else that came after him. All he did was let her know he’s there so she could serve him and she got aggressive. She told the other bartender with the blonde hair to not serve us. She didn’t even want to serve me either. He understands waiting which is no problem but

The burger was so good (perfectly seasoned, the bun was incredibly soft and buttery) and the egg was excellent too. The crab toast was decent and it wasn’t anything particularly memorable. The burger was definitely the standout dish by far. The service was amazing and all the staff were so nice. The food came out so fast as well! I really wanted to try the toffee pancake as well, but the portion looked pretty big so we are saving it for next time. I just wish they offered a smaller portion size

Malone's Irish Bar & Restaurant was a great find. The menu offered a large variety of items, and I opted for the shepherd’s pie, which was delicious and came in a very generous portion. Others in our group chose salads, and everyone seemed pleased with their meals. We were lucky to catch happy hour, and the old-fashioned I had was perfectly made. While the restaurant was a bit lively and loud, we were still able to carry on a conversation comfortably. The staff was very kind, patient, and atten

Tap Room is a great spot to grab a bite and a drink, especially if you're in the neighborhood for a show at Forest Hills Stadium. I stopped in before a recent concert and was impressed. The beer selection is solid with some craft beers on tap as well as the standard stuff selection. We ordered some food, including wings and sandwiches, and everything was delicious. The food was hot and well-prepared. What really stood out was the service. The bartenders were incredibly attentive and friendly,

After all the hype, I finally tried it myself. The fish in the fish and chips was fantastic. Light, flaky, juicy....the chips were just ok. But still, the fish made the dish. I also had the smoked whitefish crudite and tuna tartare, both also very delicious. Service was attentive with a smile, very welcoming. All in all, a great meal.

FOOD: the phrase tasted very good. My order was incredibly fresh right out of the fryer. I really enjoyed the size that I got for the price point. I got happy hour fries, which was a medium size with two sauces for only five dollars. The salt on the fries was very liberal and had flaky salt clusters. That tasted very good with the warm-up potato wedges. The fry cut was a fantastic American cut not the large British cut. I chose the curry, ketchup and aïoli as my two sides. The aïoli was buttery

I was in Ridgewood for a wake and having come directly from work was looking for someplace local to eat. Someone recommended Goettscheer Hall and my first reaction was surprise. This is somewhere I came to as a kid to learn to sing German songs and attend weddings. I'm happy I took the suggestion. The menu is right in my wheelhouse and very reasonably priced. Early on a Sunday morn, I stopped in for coffee but ended up getting more than I expected. Solid Irish pub, friendly staff, and excellent pot pie. The main floor of the pub is long and narrow, so tables would be a premium when busy. Comfortable bar seating. The chicken pot pie is very good. The top is a puff pastry (either rough of full puff), which was flaky, light and melted in the mouth. The pie filling was classic, and the grave thickened over time, so a few minutes setting once at the table would be advised if you want a thicker gravy. My only complaint is that there should

The Scratcher is honestly one of my favorite bars in New York City.
