I had the grilled chicken platter with rice, beans, and sweet plantains, along with a cheese and broccoli empanada. Everything was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the sides were delicious, and the empanada was fresh and satisfying. The portions were very generous for the price, making it an excellent value. Had an amazing experience here mainly because of our waitress(daysia) . She was extremely attentive, fast, and made sure we were taken care of the entire time without missing a beat. The first time I ordered through phone it took them 2 hours to bring the food to my house. Mind you I’m 3 blocks aways not far but not close,honestly it’s like a 10 minute walk. We booked a space for a college graduation party. All conversations with Aaron, the owner were great and reassuring. Upon arrival for our party we were met with an amazing young energetic host who took care of our every need. She was absolutely amazing! Does this place deserve 5 stars? I’m not sure, but it was definitely better than the 1.4 stars it has. Is the food overpriced. Yeah sure. Did it take 25 mins to come out… yeah sure. Does it have one of the worst views of a restaurant I’ve seen, yeah sure. But the food was actually pretty good, and we needed to waste a couple hours before our flight. Just went there today and ordered alcapurria, morcilla and 2 pasteles. I was looking forward to this. When I got home everything except the morcillas was awful, bland, tasteless. The alcapurria was not made with masa but it tasted like harina. As for the pasteles, I threw it away after the 2nd taste. Horrible!!!! Also did not have the masa consistency.
