Really good snacks!! We ordered empanadas with ground beef and ham and cheese, which were quite yummy, especially when chili sauce was added. We also took home quipe with cheese, which was my least favourite, perhaps because I didn’t know what the key ingredient was. But my favourite was the capricho with chicken, perhaps because I really liked the mashed potatoes.

I don't know how it compares to other Colombian restaurants in JH or nearby, but our dinner was fun and relaxing. The customer service is 100% perfect, and it's always a good sign when the tables are full of locals and families from Central and South America. I will admit our chicken was a little dry, and the beans somewhat bland. But that's been our finding in most Colombian meals (the beans, not the chicken). So many good places to eat in the neighborhood, and while I won't quickly recommend t

I really like the food and the prices are very affordable which is great. But the way the business is run is absolutely horrible. We always order for delivery since we aren't close. Delivery takes well over an hour to 2 hours, which means they have one person doing it. The phone is answered in such an unprofessional way. You have to constantly repeat yourself. One time the girl told us she would call us back in 5 mins to charge our card. My husband had to call back and when he asked why she didn

Was happy with this place up until today. I see now what other customers complained about. I order something for delivery and they forgot my chimichurri sauce that I paid for, the girl on the phone is gonna say it's not their fault the chef couldn't make it because he was busy (how is that my problem?)then continues on to say that they at least gave me mojito, which mind you comes included in the platter I ordered. I've been here multiple times for lunch and I must say the pricing jumps. One day pork chops and rice and beans $12, and the other day $15.85 for large Dominican soup is what she said. Oxtail is $17.00 and that's everywhere in the Bronx right now as I'm writing this review. A large soup for $16 is a joke, we all know is a mixture of meat pieces that is going bad that you have to sell immediately for profit. Soup should not cost close to the most expensive dish on the menu no matter how large. T

Food at this place has always been very good. It’s fresh and has excellent flavor. Price has creeped up quite a lot but that’s due to inflation. Would recommend. I had a fantastic dining experience at La Luna de Xelajú on Parsons Boulevard! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors and made with care. From the appetizers to the main course, everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Amazing experience at Wonder Midtown East! The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. The menu offers a great variety of options, and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Service was fast, the restaurant was clean, and the overall atmosphere was excellent. Very clean and well maintained. The food was delicious but expensive it's well worth it. I ordered by mistake and it costed me but live and learn. The staff are very friendly and clean. All the food is well presented. Will return again. Tell the tall girl not to walk around with gloves i saw her scratch herself in the front. And touch tables, and her phone. Love the selection of veg empanadas. Wish they had a sweet plantain option! We got one of each of the veg options and they were very tasty, especially with the green mayo. Ordering was easy with staff there and quick service. It wasn’t too busy on a late Saturday afternoon before the dinner rush. Some seating inside. They’re really heavy with oil (only a couple that are baked) from deep frying so that was a lot for my stomach but overall nice flavors.

It is hard to find good Ecuadorian restaurants that bring the same taste from home. This restaurant captures the wonderful taste of Ecuador. The food is great, and it is never too crowded. They also have large parties available. The food is decent priced and it is really easy to find parking. The only downside is they only accept cash, however they do have an atm inside so it's not too bad. Good restaurant 👍

I went this past Friday afterwork with my sister and our friend. It wasn't crowded, which I didn't mind. They have tvs in front of every table so you can enjoy the games. We ordered from here earlier today through uber eats. The delivery was fine. The food though... so we ordered 1 large sancocho or Spanish soup, 1 grilled chicken, 1 cheese empanada and 1 chicken empanada. We did not receive the cheese empanada at all. So it's missing. If you’re looking for a spot on Staten Island that actually delivers on both food and vibe, The Basement is it. Everything felt intentional. The seafood was fresh and cooked right. I don't understand the bad reviews.. I'm really shocked because what I experienced was completely different. Upon entering, everyone was so friendly. Busy and all they made it their business to tell me to look at the selections and just hold one moment while they serviced other customers. I’ve been here three times already, as sometimes I like to give several opportunities to a place before I provide a three star review. I want to be fair. My experience hasn’t been good. The food, is good and the atmosphere is great, however, every single time, I waited too long for my food. I am talking about 20 extra minutes after all my table (3 people) received the order except me… and it was a simple sandwich what I ordered. In one occasion the food was super salty. I used to love this place. I order from them all the time, their food is amazing however, it’s been twice where I found stuff in my food. The first time it was a piece of plastic which i figured was from the packaging. They quickly sent me another order. This second time I found a piece of a glove stuck on my pernil’s skin. They did quickly send me another order but honestly I’m now scared to order from them as this is the second time I’ve encountered stuff in my food. I’m highly disappointed as

When I first ate food from here I had arroz con gandules and pastelles. It was great. This time I went and order some pastelles and when I cook them there were two huge pieces of fat on each side in the middle. This is disgusting. We had an incredible time at the Hana Makgeolli x Jilli popup and I’m still thinking about it! The yakju was exceptionally clean and smooth. I was also very impressed with Hana Soju 20 and 60. Although the alcohol content was high, it went down so smooth and was easy to drink. Let’s just say they came home with me cuz they were so good😂 If you like sweeter taste, Sagwaju (fermented with apple) is a must try. Cholula Deli & Grill may be modest in setting and cash-only, but the food it serves is a testament to the depth and history of Mexican street cuisine.
