I frequent this place for lunch and I have had several dishes here already and they have not disappointed! The food is very flavorful, the staff is nice, and the ambiance is great. The place is really nicely decorated. Today I decided to go with the Basil sautéed and chicken. The lunch special is great and it includes soup or salad with your entree. This meal cost me about $16 not including tip. And as you can see they weren’t cheap with the protein! Definitely recommend coming here.

Great experience at When in Bangkok! The Zabb Wings were super flavorful and crispy. The Tom Yum soup was perfect for a cold day — warm and comforting. The food felt really light and not too heavy (which is good)! My favorites were definitely the skewers and the naan. The Assam laksa had a nice noodle texture, but the broth tasted a bit too tomato forward and reminded me of tom yum, which wasn’t really my favorite personally. The nasi lemak was also quite goodz I liked how all the different ingredients came together. But the standout dish for me was by far the skewers! The peanut sauce combination was so flavorful and delicious.

Absolutely the best place for Thai food in NY. This place has been aneighborhood staple for over 30 years and they keep expanding. They have a nice clean interior dinning room and an outdoor garden dining area too. The food is amazing, always on point, bold, savory, sweet, you get it all. We tried them dry with tamarind sauce on the side and tossed in the sauce, both were so good. I had the fried snapper with salad and white rice. Crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned.
