8/10 times when I am deciding where to eat on Franklin Avenue, I pick Chavevla’s! I have been coming here for years. It is one of the most consistent restaurants on Franklin. Everything always takes forever here and today was my last straw. Look at the portion of egg that they gave me via Uber Eats! It looks like they maliciously cut it in half. The location is always very crowded and full of people loitering.

The flavors here are delicious! The burgers were very good and the fries were excellent. The knockwurst was just a hot dog I was thinking it might be something more creative and for the price. Speaking of the price, the price is very high and not a place that can become a regular lunch spot. First time in last night and had an incredible experience. Yesterday we moved to the neighborhood and after a long day of moving, just needed some classic bar food, cold beer, and good vibes. This was the perfect spot for all of those things in more. Our server Ryan was incredibly kind and provided seriously some of the best service I have ever experienced at any kind of establishment. Two bagels with flavored cream cheese from the same order. I guess I could give 5 stars for a generous portion of cream cheese (maybe even too generous) or 1 star for barely a swipe - so we'll call it 2.5. For around $9 a bagel, you would at least expect some consistency, especially if the same person made them.

Awesome food!!! Would def go back. Had chicken wings w/ soy garlic sauce, fries and collard greens. The greens had a wonderful kick to it. The fries had some Cajun seasoning(prob old bay) but damn was it yummy. Had cornbread too. They have their own hot sauce for sale too.

Excellent taco spot. Super authentic approach. The service was amazing and incredibly attentive. They have a 10 taco special with a pitcher of drinks for 25$. The pulled pork preparation was very authentic and the handmade tortillas were thick and yellow corn and delicious. The meal was terrific and we’re definitely going back for the Tuesday beer special. 100% recommending for a more authentic taco option.

I am extremely concerned about the food quality and food safety practices at Gloria's. On May 29 at approximately 8:43 PM, I ordered a chicken roti. Immediately upon receiving it, I noticed the roti was soggy and the potatoes had an unusual odor. After taking a few bites of the roti skin and chicken, I opened the roti further and discovered that the curry chicken and potatoes were noticeably sour. Haven’t been to this specific Popeyes in two years. Went back on a whim and it still is terrible. Waited over 30 minutes because the fry cook is slow and puts less food out for packaging the demand is calling for. Behind the counter no one is helping the fry cook but keep taking orders they don’t care to keep up with.
