Small, wood-clad cafe offering special caffeinated beverages & baked goods alongside assorted books.
The absolute cutest bookstore/coffee tea shop! I went for an author book signing and it was adorable. It is very small but definitely mighty. There are so many great books in this little shop. I’m glad Kim Guerra had her book event there because now I have discovered another great little shop to visit.

Rosalia’s cafe is clean and well kept; and their artwork is minimal and beautiful. This cafe needs to work on adding moisture and seasoning to bring out the flavor within their food. My party ordered the broccoli omelette platter, pancakes, and an egg and cheese sandwich. The broccoli omelette was a bit firm and needed more moisture, salt, and herbs to bring out the flavor. The cheese on the sandwich could have been melted and needs some sauce to bring it together. The pancakes could be slightly

Easygoing, brick-lined hangout serving sandwiches & tacos, plus weekend brunch & unique cocktails.
The food is very delicious. I get the same few dishes and they are always consistently good. There is a longer wait for the food but it's worth it. The only problem is they aren't consistent at all with the menu. Drove down there during brunch hours on a Sunday and called before I came and I was told they are only serving g one brunch item on the menu. Huge disappointment. It reminded me of why I haven't been there in a while. If items are on a menu then they should be served as expected. Huge d

I asked for extra gravy on my mash potatoes and half of the mash potatoes didn’t have any. So I asked AGAIN for extra gravy and they charged me $1.00 for a scoop of gravy. You guys have to get it together. It’s not that serious. I’ve never had to pay for extra gravy before. Jane was nice but yall really should stop being so cheap with your food. I paid $19 for the popcorn shrimp combo. And still had to pay an extra dollar for some gravy. By the time they gave me my “frozen lemonade” it was just

Honestly, this place is the definition of gentrification. My friends and I stopped in here because I had an errand in the area and while we were initially shocked by the price, we were willing to pay because as a smaller, organically focused shop, MAYBE their espresso roast is stellar. My friend ended up paying $11 for for a 24 oz iced latte that was very milk heavy. My 12oz mocha was good, but not $7 good. My main issue, however, was the service. The atmosphere is very cold, and the store itsel

My experience at Guac Time has gone downhill, and unfortunately this wasn’t just a one-time issue—it happened twice. The chicken was terrible, full of bones, and honestly tasted like it wasn’t cleaned or prepared properly before cooking. On both occasions, I paid extra for guacamole on two of my orders and received none of it, yet I was still charged. It’s frustrating that such simple order instructions keep getting ignored. After giving this place multiple chances, I’ve had enough. The food qu

Bright, cheery takeaway spot for California-style burritos, tacos & wraps, plus smoothies.
The lunch special is a good deal. However there was barely any chicken inside, mostly rice 😭 even the lettuce was stringent 🫠 I would have come back if the burrito had a more balanced mix of ingredients. Flavor was good, typical mexican joint

This charming bar and café, which also serves delicious brunch, is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood! I wanted a quick brunch and decided to try this restaurant. I liked that they had crayons and paper on the table. Drawing while waiting was actually relaxing. I got the egg katsu sandwich, the country ham biscuit, and the butter cream cinnamon roll. The egg katsu was crispy. The biscuit was warm with salty ham. The cinnamon roll was sweet and soft. The portions were a bit small, but still enough to fill me up. Nice spot for a quick bite.

We were served by a charming man, he was friendly and very helpful. My lady is vegetarian and he helped her make the best plate. 2nd time going, visiting from Montreal The food was so good that we didn’t talk during the meal. Good Mexican food is hard to find in New York and even harder to find at a reasonable price. This place is the real deal. With $15 for three amazing Mulas or $10 for equally amazing pupusas and a $15 for 2 strong drinks (I recommend the mojitos). You can’t go wrong with this place, also, free delivery if you call them! Let’s just hope fame doesn’t get the best of them, because this place is a hidden gem.

I’m immunocompromised and sometimes I want some food from outside and even though I ordered on DoorDash they made sure to read my note about ensuring food safety and not being able to eat the bean sprouts so they didn’t waste it and send it with the order. I’ve been ordering from them since before my change in circumstances and it’s just nice to know I’ve been supporting a really great business this whole time!

Absolutely phenomenal Mother’s Day brunch experience at Greyz Bistro! My family and I came all the way from Boston to celebrate Mother’s Day, and a friend of ours highly recommended Greyz Bistro for brunch. I was excited to find this (new to me) cafe after passing by crowded Villager once again and what a delightful place it is - lovely cafe seating and delishous food offerings. I mentioned my weekness for cinnamon buns and joked that I wish there were a half size option to curb my craving. The barista said "hold on" and then gifted me a small bun for free! What an unexpected and kind gift on a Monday morning. It was raining when I visited, but the garden looks delightful. I definitely plan to visi

I ordered from this pizzeria often. I'm highly upset about them sending me a burnt beef patty. He said maybe the delivery guy did it. Excuse me, did he burn it? He didn't apologize or anything even if you are busy and you burn something don't send that food to your customers. Remake it! Time to find a new spot.

In an environment where overpriced smoothies and juices have become prevalent, it's refreshing to find a shop that's serving quality beverages with fresh ingredients. Each time I've stopped by, I'm impressed with the array of fruits and vegetables that are visible as my smoothie is being prepared and not hidden in a back kitchen. Most notably, the value this place provides is hard to beat. I usually opt for the medium size which is typically $8 and each size upgrade is about $1 more. The only va

We had an amazing time at Bou'ote. The owner as usual, was super friendly and came out to talk to us about each dish he had and any questions we asked. You can tell he really really enjoys what he does and it's more than just his passion, because at first I ordered a sea-bass sandwich, and after a couple minutes he came out saying that the bread wasn't up to his standards and he doesn't feel comfortable sending it out. Which was something I really appreciated! We ordered the Savory Babka, and i

They have the best Chinese food in the area. I haven’t had one thing that didn’t taste good from here. Chicken with broccoli, garlic chicken, French fries, ribs etc. You name it, they can cook it to your liking. They only accept cash, I believe an atm is available. Had the lunch special, which was beef curry with jasmine rice and naan $13. The food was good, not too spicy. Fresh naan was the best part. Bien Cuit – Franklin Ave, Brooklyn 🇫🇷🥐 If you’re craving true French-style pastry in Brooklyn, Bien Cuit on Franklin Ave quietly delivers one of the most refined experiences in the area. The moment you walk in, you can smell the butter—rich, warm, and unmistakably authentic. Musha Sushi is such a great spot in Brooklyn! I came here recently and everything was super fresh and delicious. The sushi rolls were made perfectly — great texture, clean flavors, and the ingredients tasted high quality. The presentation was also beautiful and looked like something from a higher-end restaurant. The staff was friendly and the place felt cozy and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable for the quality. It's decent. I would say for the same price, 7th Street Burger and Harlem Shake is better but still a fine place to go. I got the fried chicken and it didn't have much flavor - you can see the chicken is still pale yellow (comparatively to seasoned fried chicken/fried long enough chicken). Although looking at the burger again, the patties seem larger than the ones at either of the first two places I mentioned if you're looking for quantity.
