I have tried some other times this place also when they were in NYC. Taste was a lot better those days. Today I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered calamari. But it came out very oily and the calamar itself was not tender. İ explained the situation and changed my order to grilled octopus. It was soft and tender. The prices gone up a lot. The location is very center of Astoria. Service was fast and nice. Thanks.

We are so satisfied with the seafood, definitely fresh and served hot. You pick your entree as many as you want remember is by weight, nice and fresh. Unbelievable taste. Some of the best Turkish cuisine in New York City! Staff is very attentive & accommodating. The food is so perfect & delicious. We got mix gyro plate, chicken adhana kabab, grape leaves & some phyllo dough stuffed with fresh mozzarella. We then took even more food to go. Everyone should try Truva at least once.

We stopped going to steakhouses because we can make same thing at home but wanted to experience a nice steakhouse. I’ve never really thought of IHOP as a true neighborhood spot. However, the servers at this location are friendly, polite, and genuinely considerate, which gives it the feel of a real local fixture in the community. I’ve been visiting this IHOP every few weeks and always appreciate the warm welcome each time I walk in. The food is consistently well prepared and nicely presented. On my most recent visit, my servers were Anna and Martin, and they were both excellent.

Made a reservation for 5:30 PM on a Saturday however I showed up a half hour early and the place was somewhat empty so unsure if reservation was truly necessary. After we settled down and ordered our startup cocktail, we proceeded to the dinner menu and to be quite honest, everything came out appealing and very appetizing. I have nothing negative to comment. Overall, a nice local establishment with great hospitality and I will no doubt I’ll be back soon and try the rest of the menu.

Came for brunch on a Sunday morning and was seated instantly. Tasty pancakes and solid omelette with potatoes. Amazing hot chocolate! Trendy upbeat atmosphere. The kind of place for a fun night out but not if you want to have an in depth conversation. Food is delicious. We had the guacamole and elote which were a great way to start the meal. My husband had the skirt steak that was topped with shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection. Solid pizza. I had a slice olain cheese, and an upsidedown. I'd give the cheese a 4.5 - thin crisp crust, hreat tasting sauce and a decent quantity of quality mozzarella. O didn't enjoy the he upside dowwn as much. The crust (dough) was still a little moist and i just didn't feel liek the door gh to cheese/sauce ratio was as good as the plain round slice. I'd definitely come back again for the standard cheese though.
