No-nonsense counter-serve eatery dishing up thin-crust slices & pies, plus Italian subs & pasta.
Ordered takeout. Specifically 2 shrimp Alfredo’s with a side order of sautéed spinach. The guy on the phone was great, but the food was a HARD pass. 1) I had more sauce on the broken lid it came in than the meal itself. 2) The shrimp was frozen but also overcooked so it tasted like a hard bullet. 3) the BREAD was not fresh. It smells and tasted like mold. This whole meal made me feel sick after a few bites. This place is probably good at making pizza but let’s remove pasta from the menu.

Longtime, family-run tavern featuring traditional Irish food, drinks & music in a homey setting.
Stopped by The Cottage for brunch with a group of five. We went right when they opened, so there was plenty of seating, but the space filled up quickly. The food was amazing, and the prices felt very reasonable for the area. The waitress kept our coffee cups full, so no complaints there. Great spot if you’re looking for a traditional Irish breakfast in the heart of Queens.

Good music at a good volume. Great service. They check up on you regularly. Most importantly the food is great. The portions are generous and plentiful. Try the arroz chaufa! That's my favorite.

Definitely recommend this place! I had the yellowfin jalapeno rolls, the seafood garlic udon and to top it off a 2 cold Sapporo's. The staff is lovely, the food is very good (wanted to lick the bowl clean but was informed by my significant other, that wasn't acceptable) I'll be making regular visits when I'm in town.

Traditional Japanese restaurant known for its sushi bar & neighborhood vibe.
I HATE to do this but I have to stay true to my honest ways of food review... The food was bad...very bad. I'll say the best came in the beginning and the end. Miso soup was 100% amazing. Not salty nor bland. The matcha cheese cake was very good too...however, I didn't go there for the soup and dessert. Rice on our rolls were not cooked well, the salmon was brown in color. They had a special roll costing over $20 but didn't state the ingredients so my monkey self was curious and order it. Cons

Everything, rather almost everything, is a 10/10! Delicious food. Igor the GOAT behind the register and making sure the restaurant is presentable. The grilled cheese, diet coke, and Lil Oklahoma for $20.12 was a delightful surprise. I left satisfied and felt full and content. The only suggestion would be to ensure that music is appropriate for all ages at all times. There are some great kosher artists that can be supported here!

«On March 8th, we went for a walk, and at Chosen Garden restaurant, I ordered a dessert. After dinner, I started feeling very nauseous; I got food poisoning. I found out that they do not make the cake themselves; they buy it, and it’s unclear when it was purchased. Although it looked normal, it was not fresh inside. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore.»

Crispy Pork Belly: The pork belly was well-executed, but the cucumber-tomato salad and avocado felt disconnected from the main protein. The dish would benefit from a brighter acidic element—such as a citrus vinaigrette, pickled vegetables, or tart apple—to cut through the richness of the pork and create a more cohesive balance between the components. Otherwise, I enjoyed the elegant bar seating and happy hour rosé with a friendly bartender named Dennis.

Lowkey Garden Lounge has a great atmosphere and is definitely a nice spot to relax and enjoy the evening or brunch. The ambiance is beautiful, the music and vibe were on point, and the staff provided excellent service from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The food was good overall, though there is still a little room for improvement with some menu items. However, the outstanding service and amazing atmosphere more than made up for it. The space has a very nice atmosphere with great service. They refilled our tea a ton throughout our lengthy stay and didn't bother us about sitting for so long chatting. Food was all very tasty too and the yuzu vanilla gelato was great!

Last time I will eat at this establishment. I recently went to get a bagel here and was shocked by the manger treatment of a customer. As I sat eating my bagel the customer was complaining how rude the cashier was. Customer finished his purchase stepped outside but came back inside because he wanted to speak to the manager about her rudeness. He requested to speak to the manager and the cashier said she was the manager. He politely asked why are you so rude to me? She replied by saying "I couldn

I went to Tswirl Forest Hills on a Thursday evening and the cashier that took my order was a young short asian boy. He was talking to someone through the airpod on his ear and not focused on his job. I should also add that he was on his phone before I approached the register and immediately after I paid. This should not be happening and is completely unprofessional. I also saw him constantly on his phone when there are people waiting for orders. Tswirl management should be checked and have this

Hip, casual storefront spot for Thai cooking, with creative cocktails, 4 types of iced tea & coffee.
I came here for a solo lunch date and had a really pleasant experience with the service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made me feel comfortable dining alone. I also appreciated the lunch special, it was reasonably priced and a great value. I ordered the curry puffs, spicy cucumber salad, and the crispy duck drunken noodles. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. I was hoping for more heat, especially since I enjoy spicy Thai food, but both the salad and noodles we

⭐ 1 Star – Absolutely Disgusting This was hands down one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered through Uber Eats and waited almost TWO HOURS for food that looked nothing like the photos advertised. The pictures online must belong to a completely different restaurant because what arrived at my door was unacceptable. The brioche breakfast burger arrived soggy and falling apart. The burger patty appeared undercooked, had an unpleasant smell, and immediately raised concerns about

Relaxed Malaysian & Thai eatery offering a wide variety of curry & noodle dishes plus desserts.
Was craving Malaysian food and found this spot in Eastern queens, as we live pretty far east on Long Island and didn’t want to drive into manhattan. What we were truly crazy was their roti canai. It was exactly what we were craving and loved it. We also ordered beef satay, and that meat was cooked over a charcoal grill and was super juicy and seasoned and tasty. The satay sauce was an added bonus, and normally I’m dipping my meat like crazy into the sauce but this beef I just wanted to savor. Fo

It’s great, accomplishes everything a local, modern Italian Restaurant should be. The interior looked clean and the brown themes went together well and especially around the wine wall. They chose really good finishes because the dining felt spacious, and airy. Not stuffy or dark like some older restaurants where it feels like diners are on top of each other. The food is nice and no gimmicks. They allow the ingredients to breathe like proper Italian cooking should. What we ordered was tasty, and

Absolutely loved this cookie shop! The decor is beautiful and creates such a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent customer service. It’s also in a super convenient central location, which makes stopping by easy. On top of that, they had a great selection of delicious sweet treats. Everything we tried was amazing. If i could rate this place 0 stars I would. I ordered two Too Good To Go orders and only received 4 items (1 croissant, 1 oatmeal, hash browns and 1 bagel) all for the price of $11. This is an absolute complete scam. Please save your money if you think about ordering Too Good To Go items from here, you’re better off ordering from a different cafe that will give you way more quantity for a large prices. Food is good here but i’m never coming back. Save your money.

Established, family-run Hungarian bakery offering pastries & cakes, including old-fashioned strudel.
We recently placed a large order for our company town hall event, and Andre’s Bakery absolutely exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious! From the raspberry and apricot pastries to both the sugar‑free and regular rugelach, and the cheese pogacha, which was a standout favorite. A huge thank you to Eric, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. He even came into the shop earlier than usual to ensure our order was perfectly fresh and ready on time. The commu

Casual Peruvian restaurant specializing in rotisserie chicken with homemade sauce.
Pio Pio Restaurants is one of those NYC spots that just works for almost any occasion from a casual evening out, to date night, to a full family dinner. The rotisserie chicken is always flavorful, the green sauce is legendary, and the portions never disappoint. Warm atmosphere, good comfort food, and that classic family-style Latin vibe that keeps people coming back for years. Gracias.-YOUR FAVORITE MAILMAN DANNY.

I am so glad Zara opened another branch on Austin Street in Forest Hills. The decors are a treat for the eye and the foods are a treat for your tummy. To go with the free unique bread, I ordered with mixed appetizers, ribeye steak, lamb chops and salmon shish kebabs, everything was cooked to perfection. However in this location, the service needs improvement! Although my table waiter and the staffs like who came to serve the food on the table were polite but those who came to clean the table

Just tried iced matcha latte with almond milk + one pump of vanilla from Coffee Shot and OMG… it was so good 😍 The matcha was super smooth — no grainy matcha chunks like so many other places. The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. Honestly, one of the best matchas I’ve had in New York! The staff was also really sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even better 🫶 Highly recommend stopping by I’m definitely coming back! ☕💚✨

I tried Smokey Chick for the first time and was honestly really impressed. The chicken pieces were huge, fried perfectly, and tasted fresh — with actual flavor in the batter. I was pleasantly surprised, especially compared to Pelicana, which I’ve found pretty bland in comparison. It’s a tiny, hole-in-the-wall spot, but the people running it were professional, friendly, and very efficient. The customer service was genuinely great. I also tried the fries, and they were better than most — a large

Stopped by for brunch on a Sunday morning with a group of five. We’re all locals but had never been here before. The space felt calm and relaxed—easy to have a conversation without feeling rushed or crowded. There was plenty of seating and no wait, which was a nice surprise for a Sunday. The food was solid with a small breakfast menu, and prices felt below market for Forest Hills (let’s keep that our little secret).
