Modest counter-serve joint featuring a variety of standard Mexican dishes & a modest seating area.
some of the best Mexican food I've had in nyc, simple , quite , true to the core. I got the Puebla Burrito - A flour tortilla filled with stewed chicken, rice, beans, cream Topped with mole sauce and melted cheese. It was savory and perfect with the beans and chicken, I added spicy 🌶️ sauce to make it perfect for me. If you want great burrito 🌯come this way 🌯

I ordered the gluten free + vegan cheese pizza and drumroll….. it was actually tasty!! even though the cheese looks terrible, it’s actually really good!! The bread, although thin, still makes you feel like you’re eating a nice slice. I would come back. I got a square slice with basil, pesto, garlic and mushrooms 😋🤤😋🤤 One star off because it was $9 for a gluten free, vegan cheese slice with 3 toppings. A bit pricey. But honestly I’m used to it. 😂

Absolutely loved my visit here! The corn dogs were fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. I was impressed by the variety of dipping sauces available, which added even more excitement to the meal. The atmosphere was fun and family-friendly, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good food. Every item we ordered exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for corn dog lovers!

Amazing coffee and pastries 🥐 The quality of the coffee is excellent, and everything tastes fresh and perfectly made. The boho interiors are totally my vibe ✨ The space is cozy, aesthetic, and perfect for relaxing, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a quiet coffee break. I'm a tourist, but this is one of the best bagel places I've tried, even better than some if the viral line-out-the-door places! The employees were very friendly and service was great! Lots of seating available and I got my food in less than 5 minutes. The bagels were DELICIOUS and lots of spreads to choose from. I got the French toast bagel with blueberry cream cheese and it was HEAVENLY!! Their cream cheese to bagel ratio was perfect. If I came back to NYC, I would definitely go here again and

Tatsuda was excellent. The fish was incredibly fresh, the quality was obvious in every piece, and the pacing was exactly what you want from omakase: relaxed, thoughtful, and never rushed. The chefs were clearly skilled and precise, but the experience still felt warm and approachable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole night easy. Every course was clean, fresh, and delicious. The nigiri was the standout, but the full experience delivered from start to finish. Great food, grea

Probably a 4.5/5 ⭐️ for me but seeing as their current Google rating is only 4.3, thought I’ll raise it a little to help boost it. Pretty decent for a quick bite to eat. They have lunch specials here which makes the deals pretty worth it. The place is tiny, not really a dine-in spot. I got two rolls and a miso soup and it was about $16 (incl. taxes) which is not bad in times sq.

I’m staying in the Times Square area, and it’s really challenging to find authentic Pakistani food here. I was honestly fed up with pizzas 🍕 when I finally found this restaurant on 9th Avenue. It’s within walking distance from Times Square. I think it’s about a 20-minute walk (I didn’t calculate the exact time), but I’ve visited several times and truly enjoyed the food every time. Deliciously authentic Haitian cuisine. Came here per the recommendation of my Haitian friend and it did not disappoint! Portions sizes were large and great for sharing with a group. So many dishes I cannot recommend enough. We ordered the fried goat, fried pork, oxtail and Legumes, which all came with rice and small sides, and were highly tasty. Hi, all~ Went in the other day to Starstruck Coffee for the first time, and I'm so glad that I did. The place itself is charming and gives gentle as well as welcoming, namely in a part of town which can sometimes feel harsh. It was, as they say, a breath of fresh air. The two gentlemen who greeted and served me there were so kind that we need to coin a new phrase, "New York Nice!" Take that, Midwesterners!! : ) We can be nice, too...when we feel like it, haha : ) All jokes aside, I ordered a

This was my first visit to Huascar’s. The decor was cute and the bakery case was well stocked, clean, and everything looked delicious. The shop is TINY but full of personality. I ordered a classic flan and the banana pudding with salted caramel. Took off one star because both desserts were a little too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, quite delicious!

The drinks are really good and well made. I usually get the mango milk tea with cheese foam and mango popping bubbles, and it’s so good!! 34th Bagels & More was one of our favorite bagel spots during our time in Midtown Manhattan. While in New York we made it a point to have bagels every day, and this place definitely delivered that classic NYC bagel experience. Located right in Midtown, it’s a great quick stop whether you’re heading out for the day or grabbing breakfast before exploring the city. The shop had a nice local neighborhood feel with a huge selection of fresh bagels, spreads, breakfast options, sandwiches, and coffee.

Cozy, laid-back restaurant serving fried, grilled & poached Thai chicken with rice.
Great chicken and rice! Got the fried chicken and the grilled chicken. The zab sauce is what makes it - without it the chicken by itself is good but not standout, but with it it’s just a flavor bomb. Zab fries were decent, nothing amazing. The broth that came with the sets was low key incredible. I honestly loved the noodles, they stayed perfectly firm from start to finish. The flavor started off a bit subtle but gradually built into something really rich and satisfying. Please train the staff well or hire real baristas with knowledge. The woman named Carolina at the cash register is not trained to prepare coffee, twice she made my coffee badly and with a rude attitude. As a gluten-free girlie, I was so pleasantly surprised by Casa Louie. All of their small plates are gluten-free, along with most of their main dishes, which is such a win! Having disliked Raku’s Washington Square location, I had low expectations, but this visit was rather pleasant. The udon has a chewy and springy texture, and the signature smoky flavor in the noodles and pork is very distinct. I particularly enjoyed the nabeyaki hot udon for its delicate, memorable flavors (I'd probably come back for it). I had the liver, Venice style ($32), it was absolutely delicious. It came with crispy onions and pine nuts (pictured below). On another visit I had the salmon. It was moist and the mashed potatoes enhanced the salmon flavor, I would order it again. The staff were pleasant and efficient. I needed a brunch spot that could meet many different needs (kids, teenagers, older adults) for a big group of people and this place was IT! It was absolutely perfect. Found this place from a book called Drink Like a Local, and if I didn't there is no way I would have found it. Located on a block with a ton of places to eat it is up a flight of stairs behind an umarked door. Walk in and you are greated warmly by the hostest. Great typical New York experience for pizza! Delicious and not too pricy (about $5 a slice) and the service was wonderful! Thoroughly enjoyed the shop, stopped by after visiting skyscape spy museum within a few minutes walking distance. The bathrooms were undesireable, but likely in part due to age of building. the experience completely blew me away. the food is amazing, of course — but the real highlight is the experience itself. It doesn’t take long to understand why the sushi place is called YOLO. We ordered a bottle of sake, but the waiter just kept the drinks coming, and honestly… I don’t even remember how I got home. It was incredible. Food was AMAZIng!!! The mussels are perfectly cooked with well seasoned marinara sauce. I only hope there is more haha. Other plates were good too. The steak looked fantastic and my friend really enjoyed the wine. However, service is worse than a fastfood restaurant. First of all, the server doesn't know the menu (which I don't mind) and he said he would check for us and forgot again. He had to call some other server to explain the special. I feel really bad about this review. This restaurant looks really nice, service is great (our server from Morocco was super friendly), but the food was not good. Sorry. We had late lunch - around 2.30 - 3 pm -, so not sure if the official chef/cook was around. Dishes looked good, but the arugula/pear salad was blend, the eggplant lasagna had no salt at all, and the Milanese pork had no meat (mainly bread crumbs).
