Excellent food! Our first time here and will be back. Amazing tandoori mushrooms. So well seasoned and large. Really good butter chicken and lobster masala which also came with mushrooms. Enjoyed the lemon pepper chicken appetizer. Lovely attentive service. Happy to have discovered this restaurant. Pretty decor too. Highly recommend.

Brick-&-mortar outpost of a popular food cart known for turning out South American cornmeal cakes.
We came on a Friday night for dinner. The arepas were nice fresh and fluffy. Meats all had great flavors and the sirloin was tender. Very filling but a great meal overall. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions during ordering. Love to come back and try other dishes!

Best place. I’ve been going there since I was a child and they have never failed me. I don’t live in nyc anymore but I always make it a point to make sure to eat there. Nothing compares. Most of the clientele has been going there for decades and are loyal customers. The ambience isn’t the best and the restaurant is a little run down but it doesn’t take away from how delicious the food is. The service isn’t like a 5 star restaurant but they will get you what you need. They don’t bother you unnece

I stopped in to buy a container of doi dessert. I come home to find MOLD filled in the container. I called to get a refund to my credit card and they made every excuse not to refund my purchase. They expect me to drive 40 minutes back to get another item. Absolutely disgusting. They also made me wait 15 minutes just to get one container of Doi and instead served 5 customers in the hotline that came in after me even though it would take 10 seconds to grab a container.

Low-key Peruvian restaurant dishing up classics (including ceviche) for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Spent almost 30 minutes researching the best Peruvian spot around and kept seeing this place recommended all over Reddit, really glad I came. The staff was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was amazing. Very generous portion, the beef was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had incredible flavor. You can tell they really know what they’re doing here. Definitely coming back.

Had a wonderful dine-in lunch with one of my children today. The food was outstanding—we enjoyed an assortment of Bhorta, the Shrimp with Spinach, and of course, the Mustard Ilish. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, authentic, and 'clean.' I even grabbed a variety of appetizers to take home for the rest of the kids! The atmosphere was so peaceful, and our server, Henna, was absolutely lovely—so caring and attentive throughout our meal. Highly recommend!

We were in the city to enjoy some dosas but my first choice didn’t have air conditioning and we were in the middle of a heat wave!! So we were really bummed about not getting a dosa when we almost passed this life saver by because we couldn’t see the tables inside in the back. We had a great experience. The food was fresh and tasty. The dosa rocked. The kulfi, not so much. But I’d go back.

Edit: They were great the first time, but the second time, Chicken Tikka Marsala had way too much sugar. The guy at the register has a poor service and definitely not friendly, no smile, no you're welcome. Popular morning spot for coffee and bagels, but an absolutely necessary stop for the jalapeno sausage breakfast sandwich, which we get with ketchup and hot sauce (it’s mild and flavorful). I’ve had the pleasure of taking this to go and eating it in a half-dozen times now, and I wouldn’t trade this for any other breakfast sandwich in the entire city. Even better, it arrives fast. Hot coffee is good too. Get there.

Small and can get crowded, got here around 5 and luckily only waited a few minutes, afterwards there was a line of people. Food came out quickly and everything was amazing. Beef momos were juicy and well seasoned. Stir fried pork belly was so good ordered some rice to go with it. The tripe had a Mala flavor to it, wasn't too spicy but def good for those that love spice. Both noodle soups were flavorful and had a good amount of meat. Overall a very good spot and deserving of the interest and goo

Veteran eatery serving traditional Dominican fare in a contemporary space with a full bar.
I ordered on Uber Eats a mangu con tres golpes and order extra of longaniza plus a chinola juice. The juice tasted like it was done weeks ago. Please taste your juices before selling them! They sent me not even 2 pieces of salami as each round was cut in half like a half moon. They sent three pieces of salami so 1 and half round, three pieces of fried cheese the size of mozzarella sticks and the longaniza that I paid extra was 4 small pieces. I paid 19.00 for the meal and almost 7 dollar for a j

Super popular no-frills spot to grab food. The portions are generous, the prices are great, and the food is authentic (all vegetarian as well). Worst experience ever… Yesterday Saturday March 7 2026 at 4:33pm i ordered an order of 3 baleadas for delivery I opened my 2nd baleada before eating it & found the most disgusting disturbing looking thing inside of it… looked like human skin I wanted to throw up immediately the piece of meet felt rubbery can’t explain it but definitely felt like human skin I’m very disgusted & a bit traumatized by it.. i will never order from there again & I will leave the picture under this review so everyone c

My second time trying this place, food portions are big, we ordered; one appetizer and one entry, it was enough for two. About $80 to $100 per person. Steak tastes fresh though ordered temperature both times was not accurate. I prefere medium well but we got a medium rare, however I am not picky, it still was delicious, maybe a tad more seasoning would hit the spot. We enjoyed the food here a lot. Noodles were soft and the chef stir fried them really well. We also had dim sum and satay appetizers. Both were really nice. The som tam was tasty too. Service was friendly and fast. Would return here for sure.

Sizable outpost for all manner of Mexican baked goods, plus light eats & specialty grocery items.
We bought a cake for someone's birthday. We were excited about the options and to us the cakes appeared very appealing through window. We bought a chocolate oreo cake and we're very happy. When we returned home, we sliced the cake and began eating. At first, it was wonderful. However, we began to taste something similar to Lysol Cleaner. We ignored the taste but eventually the taste grew more and more metallic and sour. We couldn't keep eating because the taste became too strong and sour, so we

We recently revisited Shahi Darbar in Jackson Heights, a spot that used to be known for its all-you-can-eat buffet with an impressive variety of dishes. On arrival, we realized the restaurant has since changed its format, it’s no longer a buffet, but rather a steam-table style eatery offering ready-to-serve dishes. One side features meat options, another has vegetarian curries and rice, and the third displays their traditional Indian sweets. The atmosphere was casual and family-oriented, with se

Tonight I bought a medium-sized pesto chicken pizza. When I brought it home and started eating it, it tasted bitter. When I looked at the bottom of the pizza, it was badly burnt. When I called them to complain about this, a woman who answered the phone said I could come and get a soda and then hung up. Please learn to make pizzas properly before opening the shop. I was very disappointed today. My money was wasted at Champion Pizza.

Wanted to try some Ecuadorian food, and this spot jumped at us as we walked Roosevelt Avenue looking for the perfect bite. A crowded restaurant is a good sign that the food is going to be good for the locals. We had the Bollo de Pescado, Bandera Ecuatoriana, and a couple of milk shakes (Mango and Mora). The Bandera was fantastic getting protein from multiple meat groups (beef, chicken and ceviche). We had a good meal and couldn't finish everything. Paying cash offers a bit of discount as opposed

This week I decided to go to the newly opened Qahwah Valley Cafe, and it turned out to be one of those places you instantly want to return to. It’s a glamorous cafe! It’s spacious, clean, and has a charming vibe. The decorations are very Middle Eastern, unique, and especially beautiful for a cafe in Jackson Heights. One of the best places to hang out with friends, get some work done, or try new desserts/drinks in Queens! They have a great variety of fresh pastries and I decided to go with their

Nepali Momo Cafe in Jackson Heights is a gem. The jhol momos were delicious, and the achar was absolutely amazing — full of flavor and authenticity. The service was great and truly made it feel like you were in Nepal. The Didi there was so sweet and friendly, which made the experience even better. I recommend this place to my friends every time they’re in Jackson Heights. A must-visit!

This was my third time coming here. I had been waiting for them to get their liquor license because the food was really good when I first visited. However, I ordered the same parrillada for two that I had before, and it seems like they've reduced the portions and changed what's included. Originally, it came with both rice and beans as sides, plus potatoes. Now it's either rice or beans, and you have to pay separately for the other side. If you look at the picture, the portion is literally enough

We went there on a Friday evening in April on our way from the LaGuardia airport to Penn Station (we took the Q33 bus from LGA to there). We wanted to have dinner somewhere in the area and this place looked decent, though it could use a makeover. We saw quite a few people sitting in a table and chatting, though there was no food in front of them. This reminded us of India where people chat for hours. The food in Nabanno is prepared, like in a buffet, but you have to order individual items. We or
