Pretty decent slice on the corner of Orchard Street and Stanton. The crust is thin but also just a little chewy (which i like. ) I felt the sauce had a bit of a spicy taste too (but not too much.) Also, you can ask them to grate fresh Parmesan on your slice at no extra cost. I think you can ask for a hot honey drizzle too , though i didn't get that . Unfortunately there are no seats in here so that's the only drawback. But it's probably the best slice in this immediate area if you happen to b

Customers can sip pints at a long copper bar & play pool at this Irish pub with a downstairs lounge.
Had such a great experience at Lucky Jack’s. Hudson and Freddie absolutely made the night. Super welcoming, attentive, and genuinely great people behind the bar. Everything was on point all night, the energy was fun without feeling overwhelming, and they really know how to make customers feel like regulars. You can tell they care about creating a good vibe for everyone who walks in. Easily one of my favorite local spots and a big reason why I keep coming back. Highly recommend grabbing a drink h

This basic, bilevel Bulgarian bar features live bands, DJs & a subzero vodka room.
The place was dead. I was told I needed to get the ticket online to enter (the ticket is free online). We got in but was told for next time to get the ticket online. When we went to the bar and ordered a corona we were told they were out and gave a Heineken instead and we were okay with it. We looked at the bottle and it was 0% alcohol. He tried to charge us 22$. We then said this does not have any alcohol in the drink and asked for a corona again and he gave use the corona. Would not recommend.

A cocktail spot with loungey seating & occasional basement shows in the former Cake Shop space.
I can't remember what cocktail I had when we walked in off Ludlow but it was yummy..some fruity herbal concoction. I was attracted from the street with the decor and dim lighting. Loved the mirrors and plants. The bartender, a female with long dark hair, was very attentive and suggested 2 options after I gave her ideas of what I liked. Very cool chic. We sat at bar for a while and enjoyed the music. Wished we sat in back lounge before the rush came in and got packed but at least we got in to the

I’ve been seeing Café Colmado all over IG. As a coffee lover (and stickler for the same ol’ kind of coffee) I was open to trying the coffee here. I was not disappointed!! It was soo good! The ambiance was great and the server (I forgot her name!) was so kind and friendly! Since I work in the area I’ll be definitely going more often! I tried one of the breakfast sandwiches and it was tasty ! 10 out of 10! The Photo Booth is pretty cool too!

Coffeehouse with a cutting-edge roasting system that freshly grounds beans while customers watch.
Please trust me on this as someone who has coffee every day and has tried every coffee shop you can think of. Nothing compares to the roasting plant. The roast options are amazing, you’ll find something you like here no matter how you like/what notes you like in your coffee. The coffee is always fresh, and trust me, you can tell the difference! This is what gives them a big advantage over quite literally almost any other coffee shop. Also helps that the prices are SO fair for the neighborhood.

My friends and I stumbled upon The Mayfly recently, and I’m so glad we did! This spot has such a wonderful, chill vibe that makes it perfect for any occasion. Whether we were there for a casual Thursday dinner or a lively weekend brunch, the atmosphere was spot on, the music was great, playing at the perfect volume so we could still enjoy our conversation, and the spacing was comfortable. From the moment the dishes arrived, everything felt carefully chosen and full of character—the colors, the freshness, the way each element complemented the other without feeling forced. The food felt indulgent yet balanced, with flavors that were bold but not overwhelming, and textures that kept every bite interesting. The seafood was cooked just right, rich and satisfying, while the dessert felt delicate, comforting, and quietly luxurious. It’s the kind of meal that doesn’t need explaining—you

I kept hearing great things about this NYC restaurant with the unlikely name of Ha’s Snack Bar. So I managed to line up outside the tiny spot at 4:45PM on a Wednesday afternoon in late March, and snagged a seat at the counter when the doors opened at 5:30PM. It’s a small (24 seats) but full Lower East Side restaurant featuring Vietnamese / French inspired flavors, with a great vibe, friendly, helpful servers - and you can’t miss the chefs at work in the microscopic open kitchen (Two inductions

Love love love 87 Ludlow. The food is delicious--exactly like an elevated Filipino tapas bar in Manila would be. For pork eaters, the adobo kebab is a must try! Service is excellent and the drinks are good. We were surrounded by couples, so it seems like a great place to go on a date, too. As for me, I'll be coming back with more friends, so we can order more dishes! Haha. Try to checkout Ligaw, the adjoining bar: the eponymous drink is a must-try.

Cafe Skye is a perfect venue for hosting parties and events. It has a really cozy ambience, great food, incredible cocktails, and a team that truly goes above and beyond. I'm an event planner and I routinely work with clients who rent out the whole space for the evening. You can fit up to about 25 people, play our own music, and bring custom decor. I’ve been a member at Flyfish for over a year now, and it’s easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in New York. From day one, they set the tone — at my very first dinner, they had us try nearly everything on the menu and even gave me a handwritten card. That level of thoughtfulness isn’t a one-off here — it’s consistent. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is elevated but still warm, and the people are what truly make it special. Cozy and massive at the same time. This bar has great baseline cocktails available with a ludicrous amount of space for this neighborhood. With an upstairs and downstairs there is so much room to spread out. The seating is comfortable and each floor as a pool table. The bottom floor has a cozier, dark wood finished vibe. The upstairs is slightly brighter but both are candle lit. The bartenders are polite and professional while making quality drinks with decent liquor options. Really enjoyed my v

Great way to stay the morning at Rex, by having the Turkey and Goats cheese omelette, with a cappuccino. The prices were reasonable with plenty of seating options. The food arrived quickly and it was ok, just needed a little bit of spice for that extra kick. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. Service was friendly but a bit delayed, which was not a problem at all as we were enjoying the sun. We ordered some beer, mocktail, wings, and pizza. All were delicious. Other patrons were not loud. I keep coming back to Maison Nur for the food, the cocktails and the vibes. There are few concepts in NYC that get it all right, and Maison Nur checks every box. You can spend your entire night here from dinner and drinks to dancing - the place turns into a lounge with a DJ after dinner, or head downstairs to Studio Nur for a more clubby experience. Most recently I hosted my birthday dinner with a large group - special thank you to the staff who worked with me on the menu and curated the entire

After Eden is easily one of the most impressive openings I’ve experienced in New York in a long time. We went during opening weekend, sat at the bar, and from the moment we walked in, it was clear that this place operates at a different level. What makes After Eden stand out immediately is its dual identity. By day, it functions as a Vietnamese café, and by night it transforms into a full cocktail bar. That foundation carries directly into the mixology program. There is a clear influence of Sou

This spot is an absolute gem, it’s not the generic health spot you see. Everything here is thought out and planned out and the ingredients they use are top tier. What surprises me most beyond the protein density they manage to pack into every item, is the fact that the food is also very delicious and can compete with any regular food spot. The clean ness and macro content has no effect on the flavors, if anything they have managed to elevate the flavors because of it. The owner is very clearly p

Cute street eat vibe spot and friendly service! The fried chicken was extra crispy and hot and loved the toppings like pumpkin seeds, and the tongs that come with, but I sat there wondering where the flavor was for the sauces. They are very mild - I am used to the strong Korean old school sauces, but to me the sauces were bland. $20 for the half and half post tax!
