Of the Korean fine dining restaurants in NYC, this is one of my favorites. The dishes were distinctly Korean but elevated to a new level. It felt like I was visiting Korea again and tasting flavors that are difficult to find in the US. Each dish was elegant and well thought out. All you can eat bbq, you can choose from two options - classic and premium. Not huge price difference but you get some sea food options with the premium option. I had a lemon pasta with shrimp, my friend had chicken parmigiana, we shared the spinach and calamari for the appetizer. Not what we expected. We’ve been to the branch in the Times building and the one downtown. Those restaurants are grand with huge ceilings and are filled with light while the noise easily floats upwards and disappears…this one is nothing like that though the barrel ceilings are nice. The tables are close but not on top of each other at the other branches but the park avenue site seems to have added too many tables and if you have claustrophobia maybe you should avoid. We were able to walk in for a table on the terrace during a game night around an hour before it started. It was a great seat considering how hectic it got inside.
