I’ve loved Matchaful for years. I’ve watched them grow from one location to many across the city. I’ve seen the expansion, followed their growth, and watched the menu evolve—and I still recommend them to this day. Often when businesses expand to multiple locations, quality and consistency start to suffer, but Matchaful has managed to maintain both. My absolute favorite drink is the Frozen Matcha. It’s incredible—smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I could drink it every day, and honest

Could not wait to visit this location when I heard it opened and it lived up to my expectations tremendously. Upon waking in the cafe smells delicious and everything is decorated immaculately. We felt like we were in a slice of Florida in the city. Everything is so clean, modern and the staff is so friendly. We ordered an iced strawberry matcha, cappuccino and smoothies. The bagel sandwich was so simple and delicious. Everything was plated and presented so thoughtfully. I went back the same day

The shrimp & pork siu mai was juicy, flavorful, and generously filled. The chive pork shrimp potstickers were also amazing — crispy on one side and soft on the other, just perfect. Beef soup was hearty and great value as well. Everything was delicious and surprisingly affordable. Will definitely come back!

Do not go there if you are a woman of color. Cane with my friends, we are friends with the dj and were on his list, the HOSTESS (tall, skinny, black hair) was rude to another level. We gave our names, she went to talk to someone, came back and took all of my friends name and then proceeded to say “that list has been closed, you can’t come in. Have a good night” and opened a passageway for us to leave. My friends and I waited for my cousin who is close friend to the DJ. She was willing to let him

Found this little dessert shop whilst walking post-dinner at a nearby restaurant. They had pretty decent number of flavors on the menu. I tried the Pistachio in a waffle cone which was creamy & delicious. My cuz tried the Chocolate sundae which was pretty good too. They are located in the midst of many restaurants so can definitely be a prime spot to grab ice-cream after dinner. Must visit. Vegan options available! Service is quick athough no area to sit down.

Totally worth waiting in line for! They have a solid selection of delicious, high-quality froyo flavors, and being able to swirl and mix different ones in a cup is the best part. I got chocolate, raspberry and vanilla. Their signature tart is nice tho! The topping options are incredibly variable and fun. It's a bit of a wait during peak hours, but it completely hits the spot. Mine was 8.8 oz in total!

First time trying gelato from this place after seeing the reviews and the pic of how legit their gelatos inside the covered containers. I tried the stracciatella. First time I tried this flavor abroad and the taste similar to the first time I tried. Service was good. The place was pretty clean. Seatings limited inside but there were some seatings outside. This place was more like a buy it and go.

Great drinks, delicious food and chill vibes. Great music. I felt bad that the lone bar tender was doing everything- bar tending, taking table orders, running food, making drinks, probably cooking too- will be back but staff more people to help the dude out

The elegant French-inspired decor with fresh flowers and soft lighting is absolutely charming. Their almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and one of the best I’ve had in the city. Paired it with a beautifully pulled cappuccino. Staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Total around $10-20 per person. A lovely neighborhood cafe I’ll be returning to often!

I’ve been to The Wooly for happy hour last summer and had a fabulous time sitting in their outdoor seating, but our visit today for brunch was majorly lacking. The music was SO loud, to the point where it was hard to hear one another. We got our coffee after our food (which they did say would take 15 minutes because the machine was warming up since they just opened). The pancakes had a bit much going on with the strawberries and the blackberries and the lemon compote situation, and the chicken s

I loved my dinner at Boni and Mott. It's a really humble restaurant that over delivers. The space is small, yet very welcoming, super cozy, bright. I loved the corner nook for some quiet. The menu is short, the dishes fairly familiar, but everything had a surprise of some kind. The presentation of the food was elegant, without trying to be flashy. More importantly, the food was very good to excellent. I ordered a few of the healthier options, and all the dishes were light and also full of flavo

Almost everything about this meal was perfect. Sophie, one of the staff, was so warm and gracious. She gave me Indonesian travel recommendations and was very attentive. Bojan, the bartender, and another server were friendly, even sharing some new cocktail formulations (ube, beet, and Lillet?) for free. So kind! The food was so delicious that it reminded me of home and all the best things in the Pacific. It was all beautifully presented and craveworthy. The only part that dampened the experie

Ordered online and was ready in 5 minutes. The staff was great- I came in singing and they were super silly along with me. I was floored by the NYC proof bag- stayed closed and kept the smoothie cold. They were not cheap on the layering- great amount of fruit nuts and butter. Would highly recommend. Also they have locations around the city so easily accessible.

Sant Ambroeus Gelateria in Soho has been one of my favorite places in NYC for over 7 years now, and it continues to be exceptional every single time. I just visited again this Christmas Eve with my parents, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything we ordered was insanely delicious — from the perfectly made coffee to the Aperol spritz, and especially the amazing princess cake, which never disappoints. The service, as always, was outstanding. Everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming,

This spot is such a unique find! On one hand, it’s a cozy family cafe filled with wooden tables, wicker chairs, hanging tapestries, and dripping candles. The atmosphere sits right in that sweet spot between Scandinavian hygge and California casual—definitely not your typical NYC vibe. On the other hand, it doubles as a shop for vintage and designer treasures that the owner, Flynn, picks up on his travels. He literally brings an extra suitcase just to fill with finds from Mexico, Kyoto, Paris, a

Sakura Sushi & Thai Cuisine has always been one of my favorite local spots. When I worked in the area, I used to stop by at least once a week, and I still think about their Pad See Ew! It’s perfectly cooked every time, with that great balance of flavor and texture that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff is always so kind and welcoming, and the service is quick whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Pretty good! The breakfast burrito wad yummy and the overnight oats were nice. As a non-coffee drinker, I liked the cap of the Cloud Capp (it tasted like tiramisu) but I had to add some simple syrup because the drink was a quite bitter. Wish they had indoor seating.

I have had coffee here several times in the last few months. Drip coffee, lattes, Nutella latte and some delicious pastries for an afternoon treat. And EVERYTHING has been wonderful. A great spot in SoHo that I highly recommend for a recharge in a cozy, local spot.

other reviews match what i feel i experienced here- the prices seem outlandish and only fitting to what time and how busy they may have been. i got a pastrami sandwich with no cheese for ten dollars and when i exclaimed it was so much they were like "yea grilled onions are extra," and the sandwich was really good but with fries that were five bucks it seemed pretty ridiculous. probably won't be returning cause im not a rich local that can afford this

I had the foolish idea in my head to come to the location after 5:30 for a smoothie. I’m guessing this is not common, because I showed up at 5:50 and the door was locked. The person working there told me from behind the glass door that they start cleaning up at 5:30 and stop making smoothies. This location was completely closed at 5:50 so they could finish cleaning up and leave exactly at 6:00pm. Noted for any future visits. But I think I’ll try my luck at another location next time.

Has the worst employee I’ve ever encountered. Definitely gave me a very different impression from the LA store. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’d stay away from this location. The one worker was openly talking shit about customers who were waiting outside in the cold for an hour, complaining about how ‘busy’ she is when she was just standing there talking shit. If you don’t want to work and respect others, please please please just stay home rather than ruining people’s days.

This is one of the best places I’ve ever visited in NYC. The atmosphere is amazing, with great music, outstanding service, and a welcoming vibe. My bartender, George, was an exceptional host and made the experience even more enjoyable. The food never disappoints the lobster and paella were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Stylish, bright eatery featuring market-driven Italian cuisine, regional wines & apéritifs.
Truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best nyc Italian restaurants — not just in SoHo, but possibly in all of New York. The menu is incredible, the food is absolutely delicious, and the drinks were amazing. We started with the burrata and the meatballs, both perfectly prepared. For the main course, my friends and I shared different dishes, and I highly recommend adding burrata to your pasta — it makes everything even better. The tiramisu for dessert was absolutely wonderful and easily

A Mexican restaurant that its design & vibes ships you right to Mexico, in the middle of Soho, New York. We came here for a light dinner, so we shared everything we ordered with the agenda of trying as many tacos as possible. We started off with a guacamole con totopos, which is basically guac & tortilla chips, served with 2 spicy sauces. The guac was fresh and delicious, with lots of lime juice, just the way I like it. We then continued to the mains, and ordered a few of their wide taco sele

Really wonderful service- think this is what made the experience. Server was able to go into detail about options and recommendations. Really love the service. Went with a couple of flavorful drinks but the star of the show was the food. Enjoyed crudo, escargot, meat skewers, corn frittata, ribs, and fried rice as well as Ube ice cream with a couple of friends. CAVA used to be one of my favorite places, but over time the prices went up while the portions got noticeably smaller. Unfortunately, there was also a very strong smell inside the restaurant that made the experience less enjoyable. The food is still decent, but it doesn’t feel as worth it as it used to.

Stopped by Fiat Cafe in Nolita and everything felt so cozy and comforting. The pizza fritta was light and delicious, the calamari was crispy, the pappardelle hit like always, and the NY steak was cooked just right. Fantastic place for comforting Vietnamese food. We tried the Pho as well as some of their fried chicken appetizers. Highly recommend any of the pho dishes, as well as the Yuca Chips. Had such a lovely experience at Caffè Paradiso ☕️ We tried the special “Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte” and the “Espresso con Panna” both were absolutely delicious and something a little different. We also had a small almond croissant which was really good too. Even though there was a small line, the wait was surprisingly quick.
