Square pies named for streets in the neighborhood nourish & amuse at this NoLita pizzeria.
Prince Street Pizza was another one of those New York spots that came highly recommended, so we had to see what all the hype was about. Located in the heart of Manhattan, this iconic pizzeria is known for its busy atmosphere, classic NYC pizza-shop feel, and some of the most popular slices in the city. We kept it simple and ordered a slice of the Veggie Pizza and a 4 Cheese Square. The veggie slice was loaded with fresh toppings and had a great balance of flavors, while the 4 Cheese Square was

quite busy but service was still timely! we were lucky to have such a sweet lady take our orders during our visit. Lattes were good as we got our usual Kyoto and Spanish lattes. Lots of people hanging out so can be crowded but generally they dont linger excessively long it seems. We appreciate the gender neutral restrooms and that there is also a sink outside so if you only need to wash your hands you dont hold up the line.

Delicious pizza and great historic vibes! Loved eating here. Service was pretty good for being busy and we didn't wait for a table. Love all the momentos hanging on the wall. Pizza arrived hot and very yummy. I get the old school cash only thing but it wasn't the most convenient. Great idea to put an ATM in-house though. Recommend the pesto pizza, amazing!

Casual spot serving reinvented Italian-American classics and thin-crust pizzas, including the standout Tie Dye pizza, in a cozy space.
Fun, quintessential little Italy vibes of an established New York City restaurant. Great service, and menu is much brighter than just pizza. Braised beef braciole and short rib anglotti were favorites for our table. Reservations took extensive planning and setting a timer at midnight to jump on it, but totally worth it. We went on a cold day where wait times were short, but I don’t think this is typical. Waiter was particularly attentive to our food, allergies, and double checked with the kitche

Cafe Habana is such a cute East Village spot 🌮✨ They have both outdoor and indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. It honestly gives cozy diner vibes in the best way, super casual and fun. The corn is a must. So flavorful and easily one of the highlights 🌽🔥 I also loved the fried plantains… perfectly sweet and so satisfying. My friends ordered the avocado panini and the shrimp and pork tacos, and both looked really good. I went with the chicken tacos, which were just okay. There was a

I had a chance to stop by this popular Vietnamese coffee shop while I was in the city. As a banana lover, I tried their banana coffee and it was amazing. I had an amazing experience at Rice to Riches! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is fun, colorful, and totally unique. The rice pudding flavors are incredibly creative. There’s something for everyone and everything tastes fresh, rich, and perfectly sweet without being overwhelming. The texture is smooth and creamy, and you can tell they really put care into every detail. The staff was friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the flavors and offer recommendations. This place is perfect for a late night stop, especially after a few drinks. The pizza is exactly what you want, cheesy, fresh, and super satisfying. The margarita was surprisingly really good too. Definitely one of those spots you crave after a fun night out. I would come back again.

While visiting NY, our daughter wanted to have lunch with our niece at a Thai restaurant, I and my wife just followed. It's a very crowded place and people are waiting for a long time. We had to wait so I went to get some coffee. No drinks from outside, so when the time for us to sit, I had to stayed outside to finish my just bought coffee before coming in. Little Ruby Soho never disappoints. The shrimp pasta was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with a little kick from the chili flakes — definitely the star of the table. And the hot apple cider? A real Tel Aviv-in-Nolita experience, and worth every minute. We came for brunch and the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. The bartender was super sweet, and I was impressed with their selection of beers and seltzers. It was much better than a lot of the other places I went to while in NYC. I also loved the sharks that they had hanging on the walls, they were so funny! Chicken parm & other Italian-American classics go gourmet at this hip, diner-inspired space.
Parm has been around a while, and I finally made it to the original location. It’s classic, old-school Italian-American comfort food. The space is pretty small and they don’t take reservations, so keep that in mind. I grabbed a seat at the bar during happy hour, weekdays from 3 to 7. The drink menu is limited, but a white wine did the job. It does get busy, though the bar is full service, which helps. We started with the garlic bread, cut into six pieces and sprinkled with parm. Thought I was heading to the restaurant next door but somehow ended up HERE instead—and honestly, not mad about it. It’s a small, narrow bar that fills up FAST. There’s an immediate level of sophistication the moment you step into this restaurant. The room is beautifully designed, polished and elegant. Service mirrors that energy: attentive and fluid. Upside Pizza in SoHo definitely lives up to the hype — the line was looong, but the variety of pizzas made it worth trying. My personal favorites were the mushroom thin-crust slice and their thick-cut pepperoni pizza (not even sure if it’s focaccia-style or Sicilian-style, but it was SO good). The thick slice had that perfect texture: fluffy inside, crispy outside, with generous pepperoni and cheese that felt super satisfying.
