Bright, colorful, welcoming atmosphere- loved the rum barrels incorporated into the decor. The food was excellent, it was my first time having birria tacos with consume. I went there with my mom last Sunday. The muffins and orange pies were honestly the best I’ve ever had - everything we tried from the bakery was outstanding. The coffee was also really great. This place use to be amazing. I’ve ordered from here plenty of times, but after tonight’s delivery, I’m disgusted & disappointed. Opened the fried rice to find a full hair in it (follicle attached.) so immediately off to a bad start, and I LOVE their fried rice. Then the shrimp tempura roll— one of the pieces was just the tail. No shrimp, just the tail wrapped in rice. The gyoza tasted like it was frozen from a grocery store. I’m so disappointed, this use to be one of my favorite sushi places.

I ordered from door dash so got a BOGO for fries. The place has some seating, i didn’t spend much time inside but looks like a clean place. Definitely would come back for takeout. Came for the three-course lunch special and unfortunately it was not good. The salmon was diced into very small cubes, and the flavor profile with the white wine was a bit odd. It tasted like vinegar and fish, also had a slight odor that was off putting. Decided not to opt for the dessert, due to the mediocre taste of the rest of the meal. The music was nice, and the server was very friendly. Would likely only come back for a drink, but not to dine in.

I ordered the pork knuckle lo mein for delivery this afternoon, and when I opened it, I found a red string mixed in with the food. There is absolutely no reason for a foreign object like this to be in a meal. This is a serious hygiene and food safety issue, and it completely ruined my appetite. I’m very disappointed with the restaurant’s quality control and cleanliness. I hope they take food safety more seriously.
