Five of us stopped by the Icy Melon after a great lunch at a Chinese DIMSUM restaurant nearby. We ordered 3 different deserts and shared them. Paid $17 for FOUR chicken tenders at this bodega. No prices posted, no warning, just rang up a number that felt completely made up. To make it worse, the staff was laughing and talking to each other right before charging me, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. I don’t mind paying NYC prices, but this felt shady and disrespectful. Plenty of other bodegas nearby that don’t try to take advantage of customers. Won’t be coming back.

This place is legendary. I wanted to give it the classic rating of 3.5 to signal that it’s the classic Chinese American restaurant but I just can’t give less than 5 stars because it’s so damn good. Huge portions and good prices. Owners if you read this, please don’t change this formula because that’s why I will keep coming back. Super fast service and crazy tasty food. I asked for an iced caramel latte. One of the lady hands it to me and it’s purely milk with maybe a splash of espresso, and no caramel syrup. I kindly ask her to make it again with less milk,more espresso, and for them to put the syrup in there. She says okay, remakes it, and slams the drink on the counter. It tasted a little better but still not what I asked for. Very rude and I won’t be back.

Why am I just now finding this juice bar? Shout out to the kind hearted gentlemen working on Sundays. It was my first time being at the juice bar, he was very informative and patient explaining their large selection of juice/smoothie and salad options. You cannot beat the service, you cannot be the taste of food/drinks, and you cannot beat the price.

Got the gluten free apple pancake and a normal batter crepe with strawberry banana + dulce de leche. Both were delicious my partner got seconds. The owner was so sweet and hospitable, allowing us to make our own custom crepes! Plus loved the cozy vibes and warm hospitality 😊

It’s a nice cafe located in the upper east side. In all honesty, it completely exceeded my expectations. We loved the turkey sandwich and all the ingredients were super health. I also recommend pancakes. It was deff a five star experience.

Hands down the best coffee shop on the Upper East Side! I am a big fan of their espresso drinks including the single origin for drip or espresso which truly is amazing! Each staff member makes sure that I always have a great experience here and the coffee is that 3rd wave epicness that is actually worth coming in for! I had a better Nova Lox at other branch. This one is a bit tougher. Anyway the service was ok. I went in when it wasn’t busy but by the time my food was ready it got really busy and they forgot one of my items. So I had to wait a while.

Really good jerky. Has a nice chew while still being tender, not tough or dry. Got the original beef and spicy pork. Would recommend getting one of each since the original is on the sweet side so they balance nicely. Tastes just like char siu or Chinese spare ribs but in jerky form. Cash only, friendly service.

My partner and I have been coming here since we moved to the area and we absolutely love it. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the service is consistently great, and the margaritas are honestly my favorite. Such a good spot for a seafood boil and good vibes. Definitely one of our go-to places!

This place is amazing not only is the staff really kind and friendly, the environment interior of the place is simple yet so nice. The food is well prepared and everything served was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the Very Berry juice as it tastes wonderful and is freshly made. Best location ever. If you are interested in something very sweet, Isabella’s is the best place. Their Ice Creams and Italian Ices are amazing. And their prices are not bad. Went several times throughout the Summer of 2025 to treat myself with something sweet after going for an exercise session at a nearby park. Try out their Waffle Cones if you choose an ice cream. $4 for a hot cross bun, $20 for half a dozen and $40 for a dozen. The size of their hot cross bun might be the largest among all five bakeries I’ve tried in NYC. The dough was apparently denser than others, loaded with big pieces of raisins and candied citrus. If you like denser bread you might like their buns. The honey glaze brushed on top is enjoyable. The golden brown surface is slightly crispy. I don’t know why but the white cross icing fainted on my bun though.

Absolutely amazing ice cream. The flavors are rich, creamy, and taste high quality, not overly sweet or artificial. You can really tell they use good ingredients. This is my 5th time coming here and I have been pleasantly suprised, i try something new everytime. Regular slice is great, on the thin side but very tasty not run of the mill marinara, good cheese to sauce ratio (more cheese than sauce). Crust is good also. Now on the main review at hand. The food was great, all intact, donuts, croissants, munchkins, refreshers, rolls, and you name it! The atmosphere was noisy, loud from outside, motorcycles reving outside. The service was astonishing slow. They had to get 2 people's orders that didn't order from the app before me, and they literally came after I came in the store. Also the tables were filled with napkins, not as crowded as it seems.

This is the best place I’ve ever been to in the whole nyc. I have never been to an actual palace but I’m sure I was in one when I was eating there. The food there are all amazing to a point where I have to suppress my urge to rush into the kitchen to see who is the chef cooking there. 11/10. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

I hosted my 30th birthday party here and it was an absolute pleasure!! The owner was SOO kind and flexible, letting my friends essentially take over the aux and the projector and put pictures of my face everywhere (lol). It was the perfectly sized space and the bartenders and owner were so generous in having to serve probably more people than they usually would on a Friday night. Best sushi and omakase experience. Honestly the food was so delicious not sure if I can have sushi that easily elsewhere. Tune is my favorite ❤️ and all the tuna courses were absolutely delicious, the chu toro, Akami and the handrolls were my fav. The Wagyu piece was my husbands fav. If you a looking for something special in Astoria Eli’s cafe should be the first choice for coffee and snacks. Eli’s cafe is very nice, clean and cozy space in astoria. They have a very large variety of coffee. I love their cappuccino with extra shot in it. The owner is very friendly, polite and knowledgeable. When i entered into the cafe i get all the positive vibes from the ambiance. I’m truly impressed by the service and welcoming experience. Thank you and i will definitely come back again.

I’m honestly furious about the portion sizes at this Chipotle. It’s a complete embarrassment. I’ve been to multiple other locations, and I have never seen anything even close to this. What you’re serving here is ridiculously small and absolutely unacceptable. It genuinely feels like some of the staff are mocking customers by putting such minimal amounts of food in the bowl.
