Omg! This place is on my top ten ever in Brooklyn and have lived here for a year short of 30. The staff is amazing. The drinks are fair pours and you will always find a kind, smart person to shoot the shit with. Adore this place!

We stopped in here for a pre-show drink and appetizer before seeing Wicked. This worked out great because this restaurant is right next to the Gershwin theater. They don't take reservations but we were able to walk in and get a table without any issue. It did start to fill up after some time passed but not too overly crowded. I am so happy I found this place. For some reason, dispite making repeated searches for restaurants nearby after moving to this area six months ago, neither yelp nor Google have ever shown me this place. Great neighborhood pizzeria. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and the service was friendly and welcoming. It has that classic Staten Island pizza shop feel that’s getting harder to find these days. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. 🍕

Some of the best bagels i’ve ever had. My favorite is the sesame bagel toasted with jalapeno cream cheese. you could tell their cream cheeses are very fresh even by my jalapeno cream cheese, you could tell those peppers were sliced fresh and mixed into the cream cheese. Big difference compared to other store-bought cream cheeses I’ve had.

There are two chairs available for visitors. Shameful. In front of me, a woman was squatting while drinking coffee. Two people were sitting on one chair. When I asked the employee to give me a chair since there was nowhere to sit and drink coffee, he refused, citing that there were no more chairs.

Absolutely garbage service. The man working was on the phone the entire time I ordered. Didn’t have half of the basic things I requested (sauce/veggies) rude service. Veggies and meats were clearly left out in the cold bane overnight and were frozen. Couldn’t even be bothered to let the toaster run the full cycle. I ran a subway at 19 years old that was better than anything I’ve ever had here.

Amazing local sushi spot. Came in clutch when I needed to pick up a late dinner. They were kind enough to take my order 30 mins before closing. The salmon was fresh, perfect fish to rice ratio, and the miso soup stayed hot through my trip home. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the quality (sushi combo, pint of miso soup, and drink were ~$24). Can’t wait to come back!

It’s now “Our Backyard Cafe” and the new owner Leo Gomez is a talented amazing baker and food designer! The bakery items, the coffee, the bagel breakfast sandwiches and even the pancakes with fresh fruit were all delicious! Leo is so kind and remembers your face with his friendly smile. The Chicken Broccoli is always amazing! This has been our go-to restaurant for a long time. My kids absolutely love the chicken wing and fries, and everything we’ve ordered has been consistently delicious. Great food, great taste, and always reliable. Highly recommend!

Got the mini bowl today with soy garlic fried chicken& white rice/ japchae! It was so yummy and so filling. It really tasted good with the garlic aioli. I can’t wait to go back and try other combinations! The restaurant was really clean and the gentleman that prepared my bowl was really sweet and attentive.

Is a peruvian restaurant but I ordered papa wancaina and is no taste good as other peruvian restaurant and also it was more potato than sauce. The wancaina sauce was too little. I recommend to have a real peruvian chef for better.

Ive always seen this noodle house on social media. But I finally got to try it today. I got a noodle soup, I chose duck egg noodles, wonton, and some meat to go on top. Well this place is a disaster. We bought food from here and we got sick. The food was so stale and old. It’s so disgusting. That’s why people get sick and to think they would serve this to the public. The roti was cooked for weekend and put in the fridge the poulourie was so old and hard.
