Tried a encebollado mixto & it was good. It had a few good shrimps in there and the portion is big. Flavor is good & service was good. The encebollado mixto was $19 and it came with white rice.

This is my go to local sushi spot. Everything tastes super fresh and the service is great. I usually order the three roll lunch special - eel avocado, salmon avocado and spicy salmon (50c extra for crunchy), with miso soup. It never disappoints, whether I sit in or order out. The only slight bit of constructive feedback I have is that the restaurant itself isn’t the greatest in terms of decor. But the food and staff are amazing.

Stopped by for the first time in a while to find the menu has been revamped to feature a fuller range of Korean-Japanese-American fusion. Everything was absolutely delicious and the honey ginger chicken was enough for two people on its own. Will be back again.

Chelsea Açaí Café brings a splash of tropical color to the middle of Manhattan, but the experience didn’t fully justify the bill. What a sandwich! Probably *the* most flavorfully complex sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Got the Cuban torta with “everything on it”. The owner did not disappoint. I went into this location during my lunch to order some food. This worker was absolutely disrespectful!!!!! She refused to make my order because she was “busy” and when I asked to speak with management she refused. She mocked me, made racial slurs and remarks in Spanish thinking I couldnt understand her!!!! Never go to this location unless you want to be treated like trash

I was visiting my daughter in Astoria and this place was my favorite place while I was in Astoria! I’m pescatarian, so I’d order tofu with vegetable(no oil, you can ask for that to make it healthier!) and shrimp lo mein and my daughter would order general tso’s chicken. The portion is pretty big, price is pretty cheap and everything we had tasted so good! The lady at front is very nice and I really miss this place!!! I’ll definitely go back there when I go back to Astoria!

I normally have no problem but the lady hanging up on me because of the language barrier is the reason why the score so low. We had a delicious Korean Street Toast and sausage egg, cheese breakfast sandwich and coffee and smoothie! We were able to order from their window and sit outside and enjoy the weather with our dog at their outdoor table. Service was so friendly!!!

I ordered the rolled ice cream for my daughter’s birthday and we ordered the banana pudding flavor, the candy flavor and the Oreo flavored rolled ice cream. They were all very delicious. I highly recommend. You have options of toppings like cereal or chocolate chip or whipped topping etc and also for the type of syrup that you want on top . There are lots of toppings to choose from. Very solid place to get American Chinese foods for the area. I've tried a few other places nearby and this place has the best value for the price. I usually get the combo plate when I have a crave for this type of Chinese foods. It doesn't taste off and even the shrimp is actually quite satisfying. Definitely use alot of oil though. Order is done fast once ordered in person. No issues with ordering ever.

Great experience - my partner is celiac and this is one of the few spots in Staten Island that actually knew their stuff. And the owner was incredibly kind, even gave us some free wontons. And my family who has tried other non gf Chinese spots thought this place was levels better. Overall would absolutely recommend!

I liked the sandwiches we got, they had full of flavor: il sole and gothamist. I really liked the bread as it felt fresh. One problem is the price, the sandwich is almost $20 and is not big enough to save for second portion later. The wait wasn’t that long but definitely around 10 minutes. There is a seating area but it’s almost always packed. At the end I recommend this place if you are willing to try something good on the more expensive side compared to other places in the station.

Update. Don’t order the açaí bowl. It’s nothing but granola and toppings. Less than three spoons full of Acai. For $14 it’s a scam. The food (Chicken pesto and sweet potato) taste good. How ever when ordering delivery they don’t put the side that you request. And when you call they don’t answer. So I notice 3 days in a row I haven’t received my sides included.

The very best chinese takeout restaurant in NYC. Quality for a decent price. I've been going here as a toddler. My friends who moved out of state come back to visit and request food from here. I feel ripped off. I come here often for the fruit salad because they used to have two sizes and the portions were very generous. Today, I came back for the fruit salad with ice cream—which is usually the largest option—and they charged me $15 for this container that is less than half the usual size. I feel completely scammed. The best Wiener Schnitzel in New York! Delightful menu with Swiss and Austrian specialities with a modern twist. Tip top ingredients, prepared with love and skill. I love getting breakfast here, they have French toast and you can get it with fruit which I love. They also have lots of burger options for lunch. I have had my eye on this coffee shop since starting working in the area. I finally went to Joe Coffee right after work to get me a cup of Decaf Coffee. An excellent craft beer bar with an extensive list and several really nice offerings. Cans and bottles either to stay or to go, and the variety is excellent. There are lots of great options and they have clearly put a lot of effort into sourcing great beer - this is a really fun spot.

one of my favorite places to grab a coffee and bagel before work!! staff is always super kind! it's tough to find a good matcha shop too and this place does not play around. such good quality, they whisked it in front of me and everything. the matcha was a deep forest green. none of that shamrock shake color thank god. i also recommend the peanut punch smoothie, acai bowls and their bagels are good too!!

Wow! This place is made by tea lovers, for tea lovers! I want to try every single one (someday!). I love the adorable kettles and cups, and the lovely communal table adds a cozy touch. The tea selection is massive, with many varieties in beautiful, unique packaging — making them perfect gifts!

Edit: 3/21/2024. This was one the best mabrooma kunafa in NY. NOT ANYMORE!! I came here 9 months ago when the lebanese lady chef owner was in charge.. everything was fresh and delicious. NOW IT IS NOT GOOD... I came today and ordered a big tray as a gift, and it was horrible!!! Stale and not crunchy (see video) . Thick layer of kunafe and barely any pistachio inside, and no mabroma is served anymore!!!! Really waste of money .

One of the worst sushi experiences I’ve had. Absolutely no taste, and the ingredients were clearly low quality. I ordered two separate sushi dishes for two different people, and they shoved both into the same box. Two orders in one box. Seriously? They saved a box but lost a customer. The packaging was pathetic, the staff wasn’t friendly, and the whole thing felt cheap and careless. I love sushi, but I’m definitely never coming back here for it again.
