The pastries are really good and the pricing is fair. I typically come in here for a muffin, turnover or espresso. I've yet to try any of the seasonal drinks. I like the vibe of the place but seats are usually taken when I walk in. There's no outdoor seating. Unsure if dogs are technically allowed inside, I carry mine when I enter just to be safe.

After playing at a nearby playground, we were starving and looking for a place to eat. This restaurant popped up in my search and was conveniently located just two blocks away, so we decided to give it a try. It’s a fast-casual spot specializing in Americanized Japanese fare. Here’s what we ordered: Shumai ($5.99/6pcs): you can choose to get them steamed or fried and I highly recommend getting them fried. They were cooked perfectly and it had a nice crispy exterior and soft center. Yes, the

When I visited this café, I was warmly greeted by a lovely barista, & surprised to see several traditional favorites on the menu. Caffe Coretto is a gem! If you love old-school atmosphere and quality I highly recommend their cappuccinos & pastries! Their hot chocolate is dynamite and I found no issues at all. 10/10 would recommend.

A wonderful omakase experience at Sushi Mumi. The owner/chef Marco definitely showcased the best of the Japanese culinary skills and selected some of the most fresh and delicious ingredients available during the season. He was also a friendly and fun person to chat with. Food wise, each course is prepared with care and detail, well presented and tasted remarkable. My favorite was the hairy crab, which I ordered 2 additionals. The sake selection, although bot vast, but had some interesting choice

all their sandwiches lowkey have kind of a weird taste or something is off with them... maybe ratios of stuff?? ive had the pig and fig which i felt like had too much fig and the grilled cheese which i felt had too much swiss in its cheese blend... but this could all just be personal preference and maybe everyone else likes it fine how it is. my sister had the caprese type sandwich with prosciutto and liked it. but besides that i like that the sandwiches come with chips and pickle and the FOH st

What a pleasant experience. It was a perfect place to hide from the rain and get an amazing cocktail and amazing bites. Its vintage and warm feel was incredibly inviting and comfortable. It's a perfect place for a first date, seventh date or a night out with friends. I had the privilege of having brunch here with a friend I hadn't seen in years and it was amazing. Service was great, but also gave us space and time to catch up. We ordered a perfect balance of sweet and savory. Would 100% go back.

I absolutely love Mamma Rosas! For the past two decades, I've been a regular at this incredible place. Whether I was a catholic schoolboy or an office worker, one thing has remained constant - the amazing food, top-notch quality, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere at this gem of an Italian deli. Mamma Rosas truly serves up the most delicious, homemade Italian cuisine. The staff is always so friendly and attentive, and I love supporting this small business in the Bronx. The parking lot is right next to the deli and right across from the cemetery. If you haven't stopped by this place your missing out. Especially after 90 degree weather. First time trying sweet green and it was very disappointing. Portion sizes were not great- I paid an extra 3 dollars for the sweet potatoes pictured. All items were dry and lazily thrown in the bowl - I was literally crunching down on dry rice. Hope this location addresses quality control issues.

A great addition to Nostrand! Have been a few times and the staff were super friendly each visit. Food certainly didn’t disappoint either. So far the favorite is the chicken milanesa torta but they have a big menu with lots of options. It’s not fancy but hits the spot and is clean and quality.

A small place packed with flavor and quality. Everything they make is delicious, from the drinks—especially the immune-boosting options—to the smoothies, which are always fresh and well-prepared. The protein crepe is simply amazing, and the açaí bowl is absolutely delicious! On top of that, everything is very clean and well-organized, which makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying and relaxing. Definitely a spot you’ll want to come back to! 🌿✨

What a gem in BK! Not sure how I didn’t know about Trove before this but I’m so glad that now I do. Came here on Friday with a group of friends and it was wonderful we stayed til close. Their wine selection is so well curated, they had some juicy natural reds that we loved. The staff are cool, funny, and delightful. Bad review*** A while back, I ordered food, and when I got home, I noticed i was missing food, so i went back and told me i am missing my food and the broken english lady at the register was avoiding accountability saying that they put it in the bag, when it’s literally physically not in the bag. i wasnt even makin a big deal out of it, little mistake, lets move on, but she make it like it was really serious and tryna gaslight the situation and convince me about the imaginary food that was never

Went in an ordered what i usually do. I spent 14 years working at a place with a Subway next door. First he got the sandwich wrong starting off. Caught it in the beginning. Next they ONLY had provolone cheese. I hate the smell and named 3 other cheeses... When i got to American he said he can give it to me but he has to opened it. Guy pulled out a giant new package of American slices. Toasted fine and when it came to the toppings you would think he's getting a bonus depending on how much he stil

I was feeling a bit peckish and craving something sweet when I stumbled upon Luna’s Bakery, and I’m so glad I did. I found out it’s an authentic Mexican bakery, and the experience felt both simple and charming. The bakery is self-serve. Takeout can be hit or miss, but Tejanos Taqueria in Huguenot knocked it out of the park from start to finish. The guacamole and chips were fresh and delicious, with just the right hint of lime that really made the flavors pop. The Mexican street corn was a standout and an instant hit with my family. We also tried the steak and cheese quesadilla, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The chicken bowl was equally satisfying and rounded out a solid meal. Even though we've only experi

If you know Charleys already, this place won't disappoint. I recommend the regular philly, but traditional philly uses cheese whiz, not provolone (they use provolone by default). The staff is still professional, but when I worked near by 3 years ago, the old staff seemed more charismatic and sweeter. Decent food at reasonable prices. If you like this type of so called Halal food you probably have better chick or lamp over rice from a food truck. Some of the Halal food trucks in midtown are amazing, lots of flair because they make everything taste on the spot so they fresh. But food trucks can also get you sick. At Shah’s they have turn it into a fast food chain, so it’s clean following health department rule and what not. But then there is a trade off, freshness is not there. The food

It’s chipotle you gotta order here. I went to Chipotle Mexican Grill for lunch after school a couple days ago and it was honestly pretty solid like always, but also kind of what you expect at this point. I went around 1:30 so it was still a bit busy, but the line moved faster than I thought it would. The inside was clean enough, though a couple tables were a little messy and it took a bit before someone wiped them down. I got a chicken bowl with white rice, black beans, corn salsa, cheese, and

The food is genuinely bad, and the portions are laughably small. I ordered a classic bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, hard to mess that up but somehow they did. For $9… I was served stale bread, one fried egg, a SINGLE strip of bacon, and a cheese so flavorless I’m not sure it belonged there. 1 star — I went to this Dunkin’ this morning before work to get a coffee and one bagel, but I ended up being charged $12 for a strange-looking bagel. Then I saw another customer receive two pinkish bagels, which made me question if my order got mixed up because I only ordered one. When I asked the employee about it, he just said “I don’t know” and didn’t try to fix the issue or explain what happened. I’m officially done with Chipotle. I paid for a kid's meal, but since the drink station was closed, I was told I could only have tap water. No refund, no alternative—just a "take it or leave it" attitude. This location (and most on the West Side) constantly has empty drink stations. To make matters worse, the food was nearly inedible; the rice was crunchy and undercooked, and the meat was cold and dry. Save your money and go elsewhere.
