Summer is coming and it is time for Gelato. The cafe is very close to the church that I attend. They just open not long ago and I'm able to grab some coffee. There is small seating area inside and when the weather is nice, I can't wait to try their ice-cream.

Thought I’d try something new today so I stopped into The Black Bull. It looked like a nice bar. At 1:15pm (15 minutes after the bar opened) I left because of the horrible crowd. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 20 years, I’ve seen good bars come and go. This place is a fad right now that won’t last. I won’t be back.

I always stop at this Guyanese restaurant in Brooklyn if I can when I'm there. This time I had a delicious, freshly made salara and some fried fish with okra cook-up rice. There food always tastes like I'm eating from my Guyanese mom so I ate it all. The only disappointment is that they didn't have roti so call ahead and check if thst is what you'd be interested in.

I came across this food joint while running some errands in the neighborhood. It is beyond my expectations from a small take-out like place. The food is really delicious, flavorful! You can see the open kitchen in the back and it’s clean. The staff is also very friendly to give recommendations since I am not familiar with Jamaican food. My experience with this place was the occasion of my twin sons’ 40th birthday celebration. They were gracious enough to include me. I met a number of their close friends and together we enjoyed 3 hours of delicious food, good fun and many photos. My friends and I visited yesterday new years eve for a quite bite. Kim was so nice and attentive to explaining their food menu on variety of things. Shes very kind and sweet person. Walked in and made a joke about only drinking Guinness no water..I was obviously joking. The bartender said I shouldn't serve you then I said bro it's a joke it's 3pm I haven't drank today. I went to Kebab house for lunch with some friends, not expecting much, but I was really impressed. It had a super homey vibe, amazing food + portions, and great service. This place is so cute and such a nice spot for the neighborhood! I got the Mayan Bowl and an Iced Lavender Coffee and honestly can’t wait to go back. Overall a solid sandwich. Fresh ingredients. For me, the proportions were a little off. You can see from the photo they didn’t give much turkey, and the bread is very dense and the vast majority of the sandwich. Genuinely some of the best Thai food I have eaten in my LIFE. Everyone I have taken here said it was the best Thai food they’ve ever eaten. The drunken noodles are phenomenal! We got here early morning no line. And ordered a few things. The barista wasn’t in so no coffee. But there’s a coffee bar 20steps away so not a problem. Waited about 5 to 10 minutes for the meal to be prepared and since the barista wasn’t in, they gifted us a free Coca-Cola to apologize for the wait and lack of coffee. Charlie, the new manager, and Victor, were so great! Charlie especially was super outgoing, helpful and made me feel like family. The Maiz Project is lucky to have him! I wasn't sure what I wanted so I got grilled chicken and added mushrooms, sweet plantains, mozzarella and cilantro mayo. It was BURSTING W/ FLAVOR, so fresh and not too salty (I usually find things too salty). I can't wait to come back and try the pork belly and the steak.
