My friend and both got the bento box. I got a salmon and seaweed salad sampler in it while her got spicy tuna roll with the seaweed sampler in it. The edamame in the bento was great. There was just enough salt to make the edamame flavor complex but not overpowering. I was fairly disappointed with the sushi. I expected higher quality sushi for an establishment with the word “sushi” in the name. Pretty nice atmosphere but the music is a little loud.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE this coffee shop, it had become my favorite go to coffee shop in the neighborhood. The coffee is good, the service is amazing, every barrister is so friendly and helpful, they really get to know their clients. And Bran, the Manager, definitely sets an example; he is friendly, personable and makes great coffee. Go if you are in the neighborhood or come here just for the experience.

Last year I would have said this: Super convenient dining hall. Service is quick and usually friendly. The food is good sometimes but can really be awful other times. This year, though, Third North has really outdone themselves! They renovated the whole dining hall, and they really boosted the quality of the food, and the service. Love their cinnamon buns when I'm craving a sweet treat - super soft and flavorful! I bought cheese pizza for the children. They loved them. Another time I went there to talk about fundraising in the community and the server, Richard offered me a slice of pizza! I did not take it on that day, but then I went back to meet one of the owners and I got a slice of jerk chicken pizza. It was delicious and filling. There was a tiny, seemingly metal, black ball in my chicken quesadilla that I got delivered from this restaurant. It was so small that it was not noticed until I was eating it. Gabys pizza is not the same I used to live in NY right opposite of Gabbys and was my #1 pizza store ,but this year when I went back 2 weeks ago the pizza wasn't the same .The size is still big ,but the slice are very thin there is not enough sauce or cheese and the pizza is falling apart ,because i think the dough is too thing and needs to cook a little more. Genuine hidden gem, small batches/somewhat limited selection but all pasteries were really good + very reasonable/low prices with most around $2-2.50! I have had worse asian pastries that were more expensive. Imo the quality are as good or better than expensive paris baguette/tous les jours, and absolutely better than most asian bakeries in the city. Buddy's bar is a place where all are welcome. The owner Tom is a very nice and genuine guy and truly makes sure that every guest is attended to. As a small, local bar, there's a great sense of community as soon as you step in the door and it's a place where you can just hang out for hours, make friends, and enjoy good cheap drinks. I'd recommend for anyone looking for a place to grab some drinks with frienss in a laid back environment.

It's a throw back to an older Chinese bakery. Which means excellent old fashioned baked goods and none of that trendy Italian/French influenced stuff.
