⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for a Thai restaurant that gets everything right from the food, the atmosphere, to the service, this is it. Jan Jao Kha was such a beautiful experience from start to finish. The space feels elevated yet welcoming, with the kind of ambiance that makes you want to linger a little longer over great food and even better conversation. We ordered the Basil Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, an appetizer, and Thai Iced Teas, and every single thing was chef's kiss. The flavors were rich,

Very good! Gonna be dangerous having this place so close to where I live 😅 very reasonable prices especially for the location, think 7th Street burger vibes, the chicken sandwich was a highlight for me. I'll have to try the vegan options next time!

Serene joint with a classy vibe offering small plates & full meals with matching wines.
The service was incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is wonderful whether you choose to sit inside or outside. The happy hour deals were amazing and offered great value! Everything about the experience felt relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great wine bar in the neighborhood.

Japanese small plates & a deep sake list in a blond-wood izakaya hidden beneath an office building.
Came with a coworker since i'm leaving out of the city. Service Service was spectacular. Everyone was kind and welcoming from the get go. They took care of holding on to our work backpacks at the front of the restaurant. I noticed they also hung suits/jackets on the racks before walking in, which is nice to know if I ever come back :) Atmosphere Atmosphere was a bit dark, but also very Japan themed and pretty. I went to the 51st street location on Sunday, midday around 3 PM. I was by myself and sat at the bar. Staff was kind and very attentive. I go to lots of restaurants alone and because I’m not a big party I find I don’t always get the best service. This is the third location I’ve been to and every time it has been a wonderful and pleasant experience. That says something about the people they hire and what they put into their employees. I spoke with the manager and bartender during and after my mea

Craft brews & bar bites from Greenpoint Beer Works served in a cavernous, industrial-chic setting.
This is a great spot for watching world cup or other sports matches. The screens are huge but not the clearest, but you get great game sound and sometimes a DJ or good music during commercial breaks. Happy Hour deals are amazing and the food is reallly reallly good for bar type food. Recommend coming with your full party and getting in early because most the benches are first come first serve. We encounters no lines for a match and then really long ones for knockouts so plan accordingly. Serv

Not bad overall, but I doubt I’ll come back. Tacos are nice, the meat and fish was cooked good, but these weren’t the best tacos I’ve tried. It was a Friday evening, so it was very noisy as there were a lot of people

I spoke with the owner after an issue he was very professional, and this is my follow up. He suggested the chicken tenders and it was very fresh, I also saw a couple order the fish and it was fried to order —it looked so good. Honestly I’m very grateful the owner was able to make it right. Will be coming back again! The sauces are also really good, and they have my favorite bbq sauce on hand, try their special sauce!

Family-owned mainstay dating back to 1933 featuring casual American fare, draft beers & ample TVs.
We had a wonderful time at O’Neill’s. The staff was attentive and helped us every step of the way. They were accommodating and ensured that we had the best retirement party. The food and drinks were great and everyone had an amazing time. Highly recommend.

The softest, stretchiest, freshest handmade mochi in the East Village! I tried the strawberry jam mochi from Pavlo a while back and couldn’t get over how soft it was. This time I went back to try more flavors and can confirm: every single one hits!! Each mochi is filled with fresh mousse cream or fruit jam. Unlike traditional japanese mochi, which tends to be denser and chewier, theirs has a pillowy, cloud-like wrapper that’s extra stretchy and light. They just dropped a Lunar New Year box ($3

Traditional Italian dishes & desserts in a relaxed, white-tablecloth setting with sidewalk seating.
Out of all the open places on the 24th of December in Little Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant because of its name. Seeing the videos of Nonna, meaning grandma in English, enticed us to try for the first time to celebrate Christmas, and it did not disappoint. I am not usually a fan of Italian dishes because they’re too heavy for me, but the food was terrific! Even my friends from Texas were happy we dined in there. Service - amazing! From the receptionist to the servers. A 10/10. Plus, a

Beer hall serving craft brews in a 6,000-sq.-ft. industrial setting with communal tables.
I’ve been stopping by this biergarten for about half a decade and it continues to be one of my favorite spots. It’s very kid-friendly with plenty of space, which makes it perfect for families and larger groups. The food is consistently good and they have a great selection of beers to choose from. The relaxed atmosphere and big seating areas make it an easy place to hang out for a while. Always a solid choice when meeting friends or bringing the family along.

Plant-based Ethiopian cuisine is served in a colorful brick-walled space covered in murals.
Went last year but forgot to post. INCREDIBLE food, lovely & fun atmosphere, & very friendly staff. Ethiopian food is always very vegan friendly anyway, but it was such a novelty to get to try vegan “meats” done Ethiopian style & enjoy the comforts of delights like Ethiopian-style vegan Mac & cheese. Dreaming of returning to this place 😍

Revered, 3-floor saloon with rooftop seating, private booths, a pub grub menu & a range of beers.
This Irish bar delivers exactly what you hope for, with and then some. The menu is packed with hearty, comforting classics, served in generous portions that feel both satisfying and great value for money. Every dish hits that sweet spot of quality and indulgence you’d expect from a top-notch Irish pub. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy charm that makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. The staff are genuinely friendly, adding to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re the

Classic diner serving an expansive menu of American, Greek & Italian comfort food, morning to night.
i’ve been dining here since i was in high school & currently live around the corner from them, so it’s convenient to dine in, pick up or have food delivered. I ordered their buffalo wings, which are huge so made me wonder if the chicken was injected with hormones & it was on the salty side. i don’t think i’ll be ordering those again. Also got their penne with artichokes and that was delicious! there was a lot of artichokes, mushrooms & peas which i thoroughly enjoyed and not as salty as the wing

Fried chicken, biscuits & other Southern dishes in a low-key saloon where you order at the bar.
Solid fried chicken sandwich in a classic dive bar. I haven’t actually been in many dive bars, but when you walk into this place, it’s almost pitch black and you can’t see anything. The atmosphere is a little bit grungy, and you have to read some signs to figure out that you need to order out the counter. When we went on a Saturday for lunch, there was no one behind the counter and it turns out the worker was someone who I actually thought was dining at the restaurants since they were eating the

Heard there was a new Pho place in Staten Island. Decide to try out this spot. Had a table when walk in the restaurant. There were plenty of tables. Tried out different spring rolls, summer rolls, noodle and sandwiches. They came pretty fast. The foods was very tasty. The staff and service was great. Will definitely come back to try other foods. The restaurant is not big or small it was good size for the restaurant.

Dim lighting & subway tiled-walls create a cool vibe at this eatery known for its burgers & big bar.
Friends and I were supposed to go to two different locations for brunch, both were completely full and we ended up at Sweet Science. Service: The staff was incredibly kind. As soon as we walked in (on a busy Sunday and with a child), we were sat within 10 minutes. Our server was Ashley and she gave great recommendations and consistently checked on our table. Ambiance: Love that it’s spacious and there’s room to move around, amazing music was playing. A DJ came in later and definitely had every
