Popular bakeshop known for its signature carrot cake, plus various other from-scratch cakes & pies.
Truly one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever tried! 🍰🥕🧁 • Traveled to NYC to celebrate my birthday, and this was absolutely on my must-try list. It’s 100% worth it. • Moist, soft, and rich carrot cake with a generous assortment of raisins and nuts. The cream cheese frosting is perfectly balanced: not too sweet, just how I like it. • They recently moved locations, but it’s just along the same block and street. Still very easy to find. • Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, even sharin

Simple bagel shop turning out a variety of hot & cold sandwiches as well as salads.
When in NYC, you need to have a bagel (it’s a mandatory thing, or they kick you out). Usually, I go to the one just around the block, so when my friend said to walk 45 min for a bagel (when I was already so hungry), I was skeptical. Thankfully, Heaven's hot bagels DELIVERED. Heaven’s hot bagels is a local small business and it has, quite literally, everything you could ever want. The menu is LARGE. Neighborhood institution serving old-school, Sunday-dinner-style Italian with an old Brooklyn feel.
Was looking for an Italian restaurant in Carroll Gardens. Came across this place and am happy I did. We came kind of early in the day, so we were the only people there. The food was delicious! Everything hit the spot from the fried artichoke appetizer to the vodka bucatini and the pork chop.

This place offers happy hour but the drinks and the food have to be paid up front. This plus with an auto 20 percent tip. The server came and asked for our orders and never came to follow up and ask how every thing was. Customer service was terrible and the space. The drinks were weak and the food was suuuuper miiiid. Hookah was $10 and that's what it lasted for. All based on upcharges. If you want a good happy hour l, this would be disappointing 😞

My boyfriend and I came here on New Years Eve and had an amazing time. The food was amazing and had a few unique menu options that we haven’t seen at other restaurants (we’re big Italian food people). Vibes of the restaurant were great, they decorated it nicely for the holiday and the dark lighting set the mood. To top it off, our waiter Christopher was ELECTRIC. I believe he was new to the restaurant, but he truly made our experience amazing from checking in on us constantly, giving menu recomm

An amazing sandwich shop! Had the popcorn chicken which is one of the best chicken appetizers I've ever had. The tomato soup was delicious and served with pesto bread. We were able to get the brunch panini even though it wasn't brunch time and that was amazing too. Panini bread was thin with a good crisp outside. Good portions too, and the service was great.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mino Brasserie is a true hidden gem in the West Village. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere instantly transports you to a Parisian bistro. Warm candlelight, intimate seating, French posters on the walls, a stunning floral bar backdrop. The details are truly thoughtful and the space feels effortlessly chic without trying too hard. I started with the Aperol Spritz, honestly one of the best I have had in the city. Well balanced, perfectly garnished, served in a beautiful oversized

What a wonderful experience I had at Emmy squared pizza. The atmosphere, simple yet elegant. The wait staff was accommodating & Knowledgeable. The food satisfied your taste buds! I had to try the Burger and it was delicious. The sweet pickle gave it that extra kick. We asked for the sauce on the side because we were told that it was a bit spicy. The french fries were lovely. The star attraction was the skinny pizza. We had the mushroom and sausage on top with half red sauce & half vodka sauce. I

I can confidently say that today I visited Pobeda Cafe and had fish there. It was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. The service was also excellent and at a very high level. Salswee Bakery is a lovely little bakery that’s well worth stopping by if you’re exploring New York City. The shop is clean, cozy, and filled with an inviting aroma of freshly baked pastries. We tried several of their baked goods, and everything was fresh, soft, and nicely prepared. The pastries weren’t overly sweet, allowing the buttery flavors and quality ingredients to stand out. They also offer a good variety of breads, cakes, and desserts, making it hard to choose just one item. The staff

We’ve been looking for good breakfast burritos in the area and came across Santa Fe BK. They have a couple options for breakfast burritos, we went with the potato one. The hashbrowns inside were crispy and delicious. The green chile was a great add as well for flavor. I wish there was a sauce we could dip it in, but overall it was a solid burrito. This place is beautiful awesome playlist. I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. My friend and I came to Jackdaw for brunch and while the food was good, the experience was overshadowed by a very confusing situation with their brunch drink deal. Both the board and menu clearly advertise a 2-for-1 cocktail deal, so we ordered two espresso martinis, expecting that to be straightforward. However, our waitress insisted that we had to order four drinks to qualify for the deal, even though we explicitly said we only wanted two. I then asked if my friend could do the deal while I

I had the best experience giving a private lunch party at Serafina 105th St. for 50 people. I usually love the Mocha Cookie Crumble and drink it almost every day, but this location was really disappointing. The drink was about 70% whipped cream, and the barista didn’t even give me a straw. After the whipped cream, there was nothing but a bland taste. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to make it properly. This was the worst one I’ve ever had — so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. I dined here for lunch over the course of about 14 days while working on a project in Astoria nearby. Unfortunately, my experience was consistently disappointing. The food is excessively oily.
