I’m on a winter-long mocha quest, and this place has the best one I’ve found in Brooklyn. The coffee beans are excellent on their own, but what really sets it apart is the use of Valrhona chocolate. Feels like a street corner café in Southern Europe. I stopped in for a Frappé because it is across the street from my orthodontist. So good! I didn’t know all the in’s and out’s but I got the plain (no milk or sugar) frappé and it was excellent. Service is very friendly and quick too. Clientele and staff speaking what sounds like Greek. I tried the wintermelon tea, which has fixed sugar and less ice, a combination I was pleased with. I also added aiyu jelly. I was quite satisfied with this drink, as it can be difficult to find quality wintermelon, one of my favorite flavors. It's definitely on the sweeter side so be aware of that. Saved this place in my list to go back to!

We got the spicy popcorn chicken and 2 spicy tuna onigiri. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and delicious. The onigiri was also very fresh, with soft, warm rice. We arrived a few minutes after close, but the man behind the counter said they were still open and provided kind and friendly service. Would definitely return.

Fiftylan is a very famous Taiwanese drink shop. Today, I tried their Golden Bubble Milk Tea. The most unique part is that the pearls are yellow, although the texture is quite similar to regular tapioca pearls. They were very chewy and bouncy. It is not exactly my favorite type of texture, but the drink was still enjoyable overall, so I’d give it four stars.

Love this little coffee shop/roaster/plant store, it's an oasis in the chaos around Myrtle/Broadway. The coffee is absolutely top notch and the baristas are really knowledgeable. I often but beans to make coffee at home. They have several good vegan pastry options. It's a good place to work for a bit with good wifi—I especially like the swings!

My favorite coffee shop I’ve visited in NYC. Amazing espresso and pour over selection. The coffee was freshly roasted and made perfectly. The prices are also much more affordable than the other places nearby. The baristas were really friendly and knowledgeable. Upstairs they have tables and places you can work from a laptop. Unfortunately, every time I’ve popped in for a drink to enjoy in the park, I leave the shop feeling like I was being judged or a burden to the employees.. no greeting, no smile, no “what can I get for you?”, just flat stares and/or they continue their personal conversations with each other behind the counter. It’s honestly really bizarre and off-putting. Coffee is just ok, pretty acidic for my taste.

Our neighborhood spot. We really love this place; it’s inviting, cozy, and always clean. The staff is always professional, kind, and super friendly, and always willing to help. The coffee is 10/10; you can really taste the quality. It also has a huge accessible bathroom (which is a big plus in NYC), and it’s very clean as well. The place is also kid-friendly, which is so nice. I can’t forget the outdoor seating — in the spring it’s just wonderful to sit outside. It’s a true UWS gem.

I noticed Cafe D'avignon when I went to Dekalb Market Hall for a different shopping. French baguette breads and other products looked good. The bread I bought was really delicious. I was also satisfied with the friendly service of the staff. I will come back and try other coffee companion products.

Not a bad coffee shop and has a good sitting area. Did not stay to drink my coffee but it looked like a nice area to do your own thing but it’s rather small. The cappuccino was nice, regular coffee prices seemed a bit on the higher side, although the seasonal variations seemed pretty fair. The Bourekas looked really good, I might go back to try those.
