This was my first time visiting Okka! It’s a super cute coffee corner that fits perfectly with the vibe of the neighborhood. I ordered a Turkish coffee, and it was simply perfect—just like you would get in Türkiye with proper foam on top. The baklava tasted amazing, and the Turkish delight was a great touch as well. I love supporting places like this. They have a great coffee selection, are super friendly, and truly deserve to be supported to the fullest with their warm and welcoming attitude.

I am a long-time consumer of Oren’s coffee beans, from the specialty orange label super fragrant, fruity Colombia beans to Jamaica Blue Mountain to Swiss water decaf. I almost tried everything. I’d say their quality is quite nice, probably only Sey coffee and red bricks from UK can top it. As a roaster, I love them. But the in store coffee quality is quite inconsistent. I had sour, bitter, plain coffee, but never had a good cup.

A wonderful bubble tea spot. The staff was beyond helpful on what and how to order. The prices are reasonable. The shop is located downstairs in the shopping complex, where you could easily miss it if you didn't know. The Chinatown in Brooklyn stretches for about 20 blocks. If anybody ever been to Chinatown, it is very busy and it’s hard to park. It almost looks like they’re giving everything away for free. The outdoor seating area is definitely a big plus (not sure how it is in winter but anyway) as well as the direct entrance to Penn station that allows you to avoid the forever Midtown chaos.
