Our friends brought my husband and I here when we were in NYC together because it's one of their favorite spots. My husband and I shared: - Ukrainian Borscht - Choice of 8 pierogi: potato, braised beef short rib, cheese, sauerkraut & mushroom, bacon egg & cheese, arugula & goat cheese, chicken & vegetable - Holubtsi (stuffed cabbage) with mushroom gravy I loved everything. I love that they let you get 8 different pierogis in one order. I wish they let you add the special in too, but that's alr

We ordered Guoyourou, veggie noodles, a big plate of fried samosas, and Moroccan tea. Both noodle dishes were a little spicy and delicious, and even my friends thought the fried samosas were very flavorful. The staff were warm and welcoming, the food quality was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was quite calm despite the fact that there were quite a lot of people, including children. The seating areas are divided into cabins, which gives a sense of comfort and priva

If Copenhagen and Brooklyn had a very delicious baby, it would be this place. I ordered the sesame schnitzel and Danish pancakes, and honestly… I’m still thinking about them. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy, nutty, and somehow both comforting and elevated at the same time. The pancakes? Soft, slightly sweet, and dangerously easy to finish. No regrets. Zero. Everything was ultra delicious — the kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite and nod to yourself like, “yeah, this is the one.” Dany

Excellent Georgian restaurant! The khachapuri was outstanding, and the pkhali was absolutely delicious. We also really enjoyed the Kindzmarauli wine, which paired perfectly with the meal. We visited with our family, and every single one of us left happy and satisfied. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Georgian cuisine. We will

Some of the most authentic Georgian cuisine we've had outside of the country itself. If you're not familiar with Georgian food, this is an excellent place to start , and if you are, it holds up. The sausage dish is a standout, perfectly spiced and unlike anything you're likely to have tasted unless you've spent time in Georgia. The kinkali are not to be missed either. Plan on at least one order of beef kinkali per person. Probably two. Georgian wine is a must here. They offer a solid selection i

Top notch food! I saw this place in a Julian Mu video as a must try in Greenpoint, and the white borscht was fantastic. Sour, creamy, hearty and satisfying with really good kielbasa and boiled egg chunks inside. Also the bread bowl was a nice touch but I didn’t end up eating much of the bread ball because of how many carbs were in the rest of the meal. Pierogies were fine. I’ve had better, and the grilled kielbasa was also really tasty. In the meal we had mashed potatoes for some reason, the bre

I had the best stroganoff in nyc!!! The Russian tea room had the best environment ever since we could enjoy the second floor, which is a room that is usually closed for guests and open for private parties, it is absolutely stunning. There is a huge beer that has real fishes swimming inside and the lightning is so magical everything is 10 out of 10! The food was terrific. Aquavit was the perfect high end restaurant choice for our visit to New York City. The meal was paced perfectly, with just the right timing between courses, allowing us to fully enjoy each dish without ever feeling rushed or waiting too long. Service and seating were really nice. The food didn’t hit for me. The salad had too much cilantro (my fault for not mentioning but also, wish they asked for preferences). The Georgian bread was good, but didn’t KNOCK my socks off. Was very rich too. The eggplant rolls weren’t for me - bit of a weird savoury / sweet dynamic.

Visiting this historic place was on our bucket list during our NYC vacation, and the restaurant lived up to the expectations. We even got Joseph Brodsky’s favourite table! There is no restaurant in NYC that looks like this. When we spoke with owner Svetlana, she said this was her dream and she wanted to create a space for people to have fun for two hours. Whimsical, fun...and delicious. The food looks great AND tastes great. And it's worth it for one of their signature drinks. Great night out.
