It's Anjappar, of course the food is going to be good, and since we were starving, everything tasted delicious. I was more partial towards the appetizers than the Biryani. Service was quick enough even though the place was packed, and the food was hot and fresh, eventhough we went in at 4 PM, which was neither lunch or dinner time. Decor was typical to most of the Indian restaurant chains in the US.

We went as a party of 6 and were seated almost immediately. The interior is beautiful, really impressive. Sushant, our server, was great! The food was really good, especially Paneer Kalimirch and Veg Chettinad. We got complimentary lunch appetizer and desert which was so nice of the restaurant. Really enjoyed the experience, food, service and the vibe. Will definitely recommend to everyone looking for an upscale Indian restaurant that can fill your hungry bellies while you explore the city.

Had yummy Kathi roll and chai after a long day at NY, it was so fulfilling to get chai in NYC! I would love t go back again to this place , although they can improve the interiors! It’s a self service , but the cost is very affordable, you wouldn’t find something so tasty at such reasonable rates in NYC. So If you are not looking for a posh restaurant and looking to grab a quick bite, this is the place!

This place is very close to The Edge and Times Square, making it a great spot if you’re around the area. The restaurant is small with only 4–5 tables, so seating is limited. They had a lot of to-go orders, and the in-house service was a little slow because of that. Had a great experience at Utsav Restaurant in New York. The food was absolutely delicious with authentic flavors and good portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. The location on 6th Avenue is also excellent, very convenient and perfect if you’re exploring the city around Times Square and Midtown. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a great spot for Indian food in NYC. Would visit again!

Beautiful Decorations with Idol of Ganesh and beautiful paintings on walls. A fixed set menu but you can get all variety in it. Authentic Gujrati taste just like back home. Very authentic Bangladeshi taste!

Needless to say the food is delicious, delicious would be an understatement. I ordered one of their spicy vegetarian options and as a meat eater it was better than many improperly cooked meats I’ve eaten. I went for the tried and true Chicken Tikki Masala as an entree and no other word but perfect can describe it. This place is SO underrated!! I order takeout from them monthly, and last night I went to dine in for the first time. The service was excellent and I was surprised it wasn’t packed. For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and aloo tikka chana, which we INHALED. I wanted to order seconds. For the main I got chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo which was very spicy, PERFECT!
