If you’re looking for Korean comfort food in Flushing that opens early, Geo Si Gi is a great option — they open at 10:30 AM, which is rare around here. We came right when they opened and were the first table. This place is best known for their Gamjatang (pork bone soup), so we had to try it. The soup was hearty and flavorful, and definitely good, but for us it wasn’t as “wow” as the hype made it sound. Still a solid bowl of soup and great for sharing. One of the coolest parts is that when you’

Mahsil is a fantastic location to hang out with friends, especially with their great alcohol menu and super friendly staff. We tried a few things and the food completely blew us away. The Mahsil Pizza was very good, and the Rose Pasta with shrimp was perfectly creamy and packed full of flavor. But the absolute star of the night was the scallion boneless chicken—it totally took the cake for us! It was fried to perfection, super moist on the inside, and topped with a fresh, delicious mountain of

I recently celebrated my engagement party Ms. Yoo and was so happy with this venue. Rob Ruthie and the entire team was extremely attentive leading up to and onsite at the party. All of my guests had an amazing, fun time, and everyone enjoyed the drinks and the music. We had about 80 people and it was the perfect size and space - truly amazing night. Highly recommend hosting at Ms. Yoo!

I’m so hyped Bonchon finally opened in LIC! I’ve loved them since living in California, and this spot offers great service and delicious food. It’s geared for takeout, but there’s a secret cozy seating area nearby. I highly recommend the mixed soy garlic wings and drumsticks; the flavor is perfectly balanced and not too salty. Their clever vented boxes kept everything super crispy during my 15-minute walk home! The chunky fries are also a win. It’s a massive, satisfying meal — just don't eat it

Last night we sat at the chef’s counter at Golden HOF and every single thing we ordered was amazing. The Gochujang Chicken Wings were so crispy with the perfect sweet and spicy glaze. Definitely some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time. The Buldak Fire Chicken Dumplings completely stole the show - a nice touch of spicy, and cheesy, and so so so frickin good. We also had the Japchae, which was packed with flavor and the perfect thing to balance out the richer dishes. The Bibimbap was ex

I hope the owner reads this review: please use full hot dogs in your corn dogs. When a customer purchases a corn dog, they expect a full sized hot dog inside. When they receive two small hot dog pieces 1.5 inches long each, they will be disappointed. Underpromise and over deliver, instead of over promising and under delivering. Other than that, I enjoyed the toppings and sauces. The corn part of the corn dog itself was nice and crispy, it’s all deep fried to order. The donut is large yummy too

Incredible food, impeccable service. Came in without realizing they close in the middle of the day for change over and was still sat and served and wasn’t rushed at all. It was a perfect hearty and healthy meal on a rainy day. Kimchi was some of the best I’ve had.

I used to LOVE Sweetie K’s but the portion and flavor just isn’t the same anymore. The tenders used to be big and juicy with a big hit of flavor without any sauce, it tasted like there was no seasoning and they were TINY this time around. I added a pic and in each pic I’m holding what’s supposed to be a whole chicken strip. The soy garlic wings also just lacked that depth of flavor they used to have. The crunch was good but I had to keep dipping it in extra sauce. Disappointed and probably won’

Absolutely loved my visit here! The corn dogs were fresh, crispy, and packed with flavor. I was impressed by the variety of dipping sauces available, which added even more excitement to the meal. This place has quickly become one of our favorites! The service is excellent, and the servers are always attentive. If there's ever a mistake with your order, they quickly make it right. Our favorite dish is the fish tonkatsu, but you can also order combination options like chicken and fish or fish and pork katsu. We also love that they give you plenty of cabbage salad. Another must-try is the boneless garlic chicken—I'm drooling just thinking about it! Every time we visit, both the food and

fantastic experience front to back. I was rather taken away with the cool, dim and almost cavern-like ambiance. the decor and furnishings were truly on point, though I especially appreciated the commitment to the 50s-era jazzy Brill Building girl group music with the song choices. the service was flawless, as the team was not only quite sharp and educated, but also quite courteous and subtle in their motions and maintenance of the table. the cocktails were uncompromising and rather bold execu

This is a KBBQ place specializing in pork. They offer a small selection of lunch deals that allow you to sample what they offer on their larger ala carte menu. Their banchan are not super varied but all go well with meat. The restaurant space goes in deep and has plenty of air vents for grilling. It's a good place to go share a grill with friends or coworkers after work.

I loved the hand rolls here. It’s up there with kazunori and Nami Nori. I’d even rank this higher if it was cheaper. Will be coming back if I crave sushi that is fresh and unique in flavors. I do agree with other reviews that portions are on the smaller side and the hostess did have attitude but my waiter was really attentive. The chef also didn’t engage much which is fine for me but may be a down side for some.

Made-to-order corn dogs with some serious flair. Only got the OG one and potato, both were spectacular. Probably could have done well with just one tbh. Donuts looked great too but I didn’t treat myself to one of those (two corn dogs and all).

I usually always get the tenders combo, the golden bbq (SO TASTY)! But switched it up and got the Crispy Chichen Bowl, great choice 10/10! The customer service is always great, super attentive and kind. Great vibe overall. Thank you to our server, Hans, he was the best!

Their salmon sashimi is fresh, their garlic butter edamame (spicy) is so good, my partner LOVED the ramen and I absolutely loved their bulgogi fried rice. We paired our meal with some Milkis (I got the original, which you could never go wrong with and my partner got strawberry which he found delightful). The staff are so kind and it was such a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend anyone in the area to check Slowloris out!

Affordable Korean comfort food option in Brooklyn. Grabbed takeout here while passing through the neighborhood. It’s a chain serving a mix of Korean street food and pastries, and most items were surprisingly cheap by New York standards. We ordered the Angry Noodle, Spicy Topokki, and an OG Ugnut, and everything delivered exactly what you want for the price point. The Angry Noodle was good, but it sat right at that 'Buldak spicy chicken' level of heat, and I fully had to tap out after a few bi

This is my go to restaurant if I ever feel sick and need some warming, soothing congee to feel better. After binging on too much Korean BBQ, I am a big fan of eating the right food the few days to help with illness. Bonjuk has saved me many times. Food: The Korean style congee is thicker and has more numerous versions than I have seen in Cantonese restaurants. I recommend getting the Octopus Kimchi for something with a little spicy, fermented tang. The Salmon or Tuna Congee is great if you want

Mmh! My cousin used to get the spicy tuna rice bowl for us and we’d share it while sitting on a park bench. The taste has not changed one bit. The tuna is so flavorful and rich. The bulgogi rice bowl was also quite yummy. The spicy tuna kimbab was good too but I think I just prefer rice balls lol. Everything is still reasonably priced and was enough to fill us all up. Definitely recommend! FYI, these pictures are all post-bite. There were 10 pieces of kimbap.

Not happy with the food taste at this location. We’ve had this chicken before and the taste of sweet chili wasn’t good. Along with that the chicken was not fully cooked. It was still pink. I called to inform them Of the taste and the pink and the guy who works there told me that it was ok for the chicken to be pink and they have a health certificate and all stating that it’s ok to be pink. For one this is not a steak.. pink chicken is NOT ok. It’s pretty much raw chicken. What a waste of my mone

I Am Kimchi is a quaint little place that serves insanely delicious food in huge portions at great prices. All the food came in portions bigger than I expected, and the taste was absolutely phenomenal. Though the place is a bit small (a few tables for 4 people and a few for 2), it only adds to the vibe of the place. It really feels like eating a comforting meal inside someone’s house. Stumbled on this small Korean mom and pop spot on Northern Blvd. The menu is surprisingly extensive, which made it hard to narrow things down. Extra spicy squid kimbap: honestly not that spicy. Pretty average, I’ve had better. Fried seaweed roll: filled with glass noodles but came off bland. It really needed a dipping sauce to bring it together. Skip! Beef dumpling soup: the highlight. Served with glass noodles, the broth was comforting with a slight sweetness and pepper. This is a must order

I wasn’t a big fan of pork belly before I found this restaurant. I highly recommend to try their pork belly. So good, so good, I LOVE IT!!!!!! Every time we went there, we ordered at least four plates of pork belly, I never get tired of their pork belly. Kimchi is great too! The fired rice , the way the mixed the ingredients is so perfect to eat as the last meal of that moment. Also, the way the set up their grill pan makes me feel like they are taking me back to retro korean bbq spot in Kdrama

Food was generally tasty although portions served varied. But the crazy thing is the lack of service. We counted 4 wait staff for a small restaurant and they were absent and disorganized. Loved eating here! The corn dog with potato and mozzarella is really good. Definitely check it out. We ordered a large boneless tray with a split of flavors: sweet chili and soy garlic. I really liked the sweet chili but I was also given a bit of mango haberero sauce to try (amazing but got some heat) Definitely very generous portions here, it was enough food for two meals for us! The food here tastes pretty good and the place feels warm and comfortable. However, the packaging was really disappointing. We visited Seoul Ttukbaegi on a freezing day looking for comforting Korean bone broth soups, and it completely hit the spot. The doganitang was deeply flavorful and soothing, with the kind of richness you expect from longtime, well-loved soup houses.
