We had an amazing time at Salma! The food was incredible! We got the appetizer platter (didn’t take a photo of everything) all of the dips were perfectly made but the muhummara and the hummus were definitely standouts! The kibbeh was also delicious. The meat platter was delicious as well and all of the meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owner was super nice to us! We will definitely be coming back, this is now a new favorite restaurant of ours!

Istanbul Bay was just as good on my second visit. The babaganoush is honestly one of the best I’ve had. This time we ordered a mixed appetizer, and everything was delicious the bread and olives are a great complimentary touch I also tried the feta roll (really good) and the grilled mix, which was amazing. The Homemade Bread is the star of the show here it’s freshly baked in-house, warm, fluffy, and topped with black and white sesame seeds . t’s the best pita in the city, and The bread alone is worth the visit . The Food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The Service feels like a family run spot with warm, friendly staff who make you feel welcome.

We arrived around 3pm on a Monday. The food was good; ordered a chicken shawarma platter with everything and a spinach pie to go. Prices were fair and it clearly states the cash and credit card prices, so no surprises. There was a steady flow of customers ordering to go as well as staying to dine. We would definitely return.

Beautiful presentation of the pistachio crepe I ordered. Perfectly sweet; the slight saltiness of the nuts elevates the flavor. My crepe was very filling too; I really enjoyed taking my time to savor it. Paired well with the dragonfruit lemonade I got. The establishment is nice, clean, well-decorated and has a really lively atmosphere—especially in the rear dining area. A good spot to get some late night desserts while chatting with your friends. Great experience! The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The menu was easy to navigate, and the team helped us choose our meals. I had a burger, and it was incredibly juicy and delicious. The shakshuka was also excellent — rich in flavor, perfectly seasoned. I was out in soho trying to find something to eat and ran across this place, while outside reading the outdoor menu, I think it was the owner who encouraged us to come inside for the bottomless mimosas and that the food would be wonderful and it was ! I forgot my servers name but he was nice and quick and very generous on the mimosas. Meatballs were definitely fresh and came with some crunchy bread which I loved and my burger was perfectly cooked. We walked into Heights Falafel hungry and cold on a winter night, and it was exactly what we needed. It’s a small, intimate spot with very kind people working there. The food was delicious and served quickly while still tasting fresh. Such a cozy, satisfying meal and a spot I’d happily go back to.

Food was absolutely amazing authentic afghani food and the atmosphere was nice as well however the most notable thing g was the hospitality we received from our server. He constantly made sure we had our water refilled which after a long day of walking around manhattan was very helpful. He also checking in every few minutes if we need extra sauce, plates, food, etc. was an overall great experience and we will definitely stop by next time we’re in the city!

Came for restaurant week and it was so nice seeing the portion sizes didn’t change and a good variety on the menu. I started with the saffron shrimp, had the lamb shank for my main and ended it with the warm brownie for dessert. I also tried their torshitini cocktail which was on the savory side but very delicious. Saffron shrimp was great and I loved the bread to help finish up the sauce.
