Minimalist eatery for kosher Israeli vegetarian fare, specializing in many varieties of hummus.
My partner and I love going to Hummus Place. The food is absolutely delicious, and the last time we went, we were practically silent through the meal. We normally chat and joke a lot when we eat together, but we were both so captivated by the food that we were too busy enjoying it to talk. The hummus is outstanding, and our favorite is the mushroom hummus. My partner loves the grape leaves, and I love the falafel, which is probably the best falafel I’ve ever had. It is amazingly light, flavorfu

The restaurant is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. They prepare Turkish cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in with servers. Soups 🍲, salads 🥗, appetizers, sandwiches 🥪, entrees, sides, beverages ☕️, desserts and catering are on the menu. I ordered the chicken soup, babaganoush, lamb gyro and chicken gyro. The food was very good and well-prepared.

A must eat at restaurant in new york. They provide delicious Iranian food specially kobideh and grill menu, also the badinjan is delicious. Sauces with the bread increase your appetite. I didn’t like the shibzi stew it was a little bitter. Rice was very delicious. I visited them twice both experiences were perfect. Best Iranian food in the town. Next visit to new york for sure i will visit.

I’ve had Yemeni food from all over New York and so far Alshaybani has to be my absolute favorite. This is actual authentic Yemeni food. Tastes just like the exact food you would get in a Yemeni restaurant in Yemen. The bread was actually fully cooked unlike some other places where you can still smell and taste the raw dough. The tea was perfect and the service was great. We had hummus and lahim suqar (chopped meat) it was the perfect breakfast. It was very comfortable to eat in there because the

Falafel Bites is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, it felt special. It’s a family-owned spot, and you can truly feel the heart behind it. Sherry, the owner, personally served us and was incredible, so warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. We also had the chance to meet her husband, the co-owner and chef, and it was such a pleasure to tell him firsthand how outstanding the food was. They are both unbelievably kind and welcoming. We had an amazing time at Salma! The food was incredible! We got the appetizer platter (didn’t take a photo of everything) all of the dips were perfectly made but the muhummara and the hummus were definitely standouts! The kibbeh was also delicious. The meat platter was delicious as well and all of the meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owner was super nice to us! We will definitely be coming back, this is now a new favorite restaurant of ours!

Istanbul Bay was just as good on my second visit. The babaganoush is honestly one of the best I’ve had. This time we ordered a mixed appetizer, and everything was delicious the bread and olives are a great complimentary touch I also tried the feta roll (really good) and the grilled mix, which was amazing. Portions are generous, and the staff is super friendly Finished with künefe and Turkish tea did not disappoint at all. Definitely coming back

We arrived around 3pm on a Monday. The food was good; ordered a chicken shawarma platter with everything and a spinach pie to go. Prices were fair and it clearly states the cash and credit card prices, so no surprises. There was a steady flow of customers ordering to go as well as staying to dine. We would definitely return.

I love eating out but very very very rarely do I take the time and care to write reviews on Google maps. I only do it when something is exceptionally good or exceptionally bad….in this case it’s the former. The food was genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in my life (maybe also from the fact that it was my first time trying out Yemeni food). I had the lamb fahsa with the bread that it’s eaten with and the tea they served us to drink. Everything was delicious, the food was very fresh, the me

Beautiful presentation of the pistachio crepe I ordered. Perfectly sweet; the slight saltiness of the nuts elevates the flavor. My crepe was very filling too; I really enjoyed taking my time to savor it. Paired well with the dragonfruit lemonade I got. The establishment is nice, clean, well-decorated and has a really lively atmosphere—especially in the rear dining area. A good spot to get some late night desserts while chatting with your friends. I would definitely come back.

This is my first time here and it was quite nice .if you are hungry this gyro will definitely fill you ! I ordered mixed lamb and chicken gyro on house made bread . The lamb was absolutely yum and flavorful but can’t say the same for the chicken tbh: it lacked flavor , wasn’t grilled enough and I could taste the pieces of fat ( I’d definitely recommend you stick to lamb. The fries portion was really big and they were crispy and nice though slightly oily but I’d still have them another time . The

I was out in soho trying to find something to eat and ran across this place, while outside reading the outdoor menu, I think it was the owner who encouraged us to come inside for the bottomless mimosas and that the food would be wonderful and it was ! I forgot my servers name but he was nice and quick and very generous on the mimosas. Meatballs were definitely fresh and came with some crunchy bread which I loved and my burger was perfectly cooked. I honestly love the whole experience here. Amazing sunset views. Friendly, attentive service. Sofreh has a really nice and cozy vibe. The place looks beautiful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered pomegranate beef ribeye, eggplant dip, and half chicken. Elegant outpost of the Midtown original, with creative Mediterranean fare & private outdoor dining.
The food was average at best, and considering the small portions and high prices, I can't recommend it at all. It's very easy to find good Mediterranean food in NYC and this place really disappointed me. None of the food tasted or looked fresh, which was the most evident in the salad, where all the ingredients were mushed together. The staff was distracted: they forgot things, they took a plate away with food and I had to ask them to return it, and generally weren't around to check. The summer

anybody who gives this place anything less than 5 stars should not be trusted. this place is phenomenal and known for the most delicious white sauce. Came for restaurant week and it was so nice seeing the portion sizes didn’t change and a good variety on the menu. I started with the saffron shrimp, had the lamb shank for my main and ended it with the warm brownie for dessert. I also tried their torshitini cocktail which was on the savory side but very delicious. Saffron shrimp was great and I loved the bread to help finish up the sauce. My lamb shank fell off the bone which is always a positive. While I did like it I didn’t feel it stood out

Glad to see Uzbekistani cuisine on Ave I. The restaurant has a surprisingly large dining area with private rooms available, which is a nice touch. The food was good overall. 4.5 Stars Stopped by this fast food spot in Astoria and was honestly impressed. The sandwich was really good—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying—and the fries were just as solid: crispy, well-seasoned, and clearly made right.
