Edit: 3/21/2024. This was one the best mabrooma kunafa in NY. NOT ANYMORE!! I came here 9 months ago when the lebanese lady chef owner was in charge.. everything was fresh and delicious. NOW IT IS NOT GOOD... I came today and ordered a big tray as a gift, and it was horrible!!! Stale and not crunchy (see video) . Thick layer of kunafe and barely any pistachio inside, and no mabroma is served anymore!!!! Really waste of money .

I had a really good experience at NAYA! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything tasted great and well prepared. On top of that, the prices are very affordable for the quality and portion size you get. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for tasty Mediterranean food at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a Turkish breakfast here today and absolutely loved it. The breakfast was very diverse, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I’ve been looking for a place of this quality in Brooklyn for a long time, and I’m so happy I finally found it. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place. The woman who served the breakfast — possibly the chef — was incredibly kind and attentive. She brought everything with such care and warmth, which made the experience

I had a wonderful visit to the Georgian restaurant in Brooklyn. The khinkali were absolutely delicious, full of flavor. I also want to give a big shout-out to our waitress, Mariam, who provided exceptional service—she was attentive, friendly, and made the entire experience perfect. I highly recommend this place!”

An inexpensive, tasty hole in the wall survives in Union Square! Delicious falafel and decent shawarma in an overstuffed pita. Ridiculously low prices. Make sure to bring lots of napkins and consider eating in Union Square, as they're full of drippy goodness. The owners are efficient and down to business, but warm up after repeat visits.

Thanks to char-cute-rei we have spent fantastic day in Central Park! Everything was great and tasty, prepared and served meticulously. Also, it happened I arrived at place about hour and a half earlier than initially planned. The team made huge effort and on the request prepared everything one hour earlier than my initial order, appreciate that!

Just tried the chicken shawarma sandwich from Holy Pita and it absolutely hit the spot. The pita was warm, soft, and perfectly toasted, holding a generous portion of juicy, well-seasoned chicken shawarma. Every bite had a great balance of textures — crunchy pickles, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, and that creamy garlic sauce that ties everything together. The flavors are bold but super balanced. The tanginess from the pickles, freshness from the veggies, and the rich shawarma seasoning make it in

Great place with excellent hookah and drinks. The atmosphere is really nice, and the music adds to the overall vibe perfectly. It’s a great spot to relax and spend time with friends. One small suggestion for the team: when there are multiple groups smoking hookah at the same time, it would be great to turn on stronger air conditioning or ventilation, as it can get quite smoky. Overall, a very enjoyable experience — would definitely come back.

The Red Stash is hands down my favorite bar in Hell’s Kitchen and truly one of the best. Every single time I go, the service is outstanding. The staff always make you feel welcome, especially Luke, Ty, and the co-founder Sean—they consistently go above and beyond to create an amazing atmosphere. What an awesome experience! Super friendly. Open 24/7. Delicious mango drink & delicious mango flavor hookah (this was a first for me & enjoyable!) did you know hookah was invented 400 years ago by an Indian doctor that wrongly thought it was healthier for you? I tried the new “Shah Warma” from Shah’s Halal Food in this location and it was honestly really disappointing. It looked nothing like what they advertised. The wrap was sloppy and overloaded with sauce, and the bread tasted old and even smelled expired. It also seemed like the worker didn’t really know how to make the new item yet, because it was put together very poorly. I was excited to try something new, but this didn’t come close to the pictures or the quality I expected. Hopefully they imp

On a rare occasion, I found myself in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, experiencing the bustling foot traffic on Bedford Ave. We were in the mood for Middle Eastern bowls, despite the many other choices nearby. The restaurant was clean, ordering was fast, the price was affordable, and there was plenty of seating. Sold! We ordered a Chicken Kebab Bowl with "everything": tomatoes, romaine, cucumbers, pickled turnips, jalapeños, sumac onions, cabbage slaw, Lebanese pickles, Kalamata olives, and

Stumbled upon this place with my friends (see: photo 1) while looking for a quiet place to drink after an intense bout of ping pong. We were invited in by a lady presumably named Tina who was super kind. We sat at the bar and then a sommelier, also presumably named Tina, recommended us different wines that were all very tasty. I know this because we got to taste the wines. We ended up getting an orange-colored wine (see: photo 2) and had a great time chatting with the Presumable Tinas. They wer

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We were there for maybe 15 minutes total before deciding to leave. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with attitude instead of hospitality. The guy working there was rude, unwelcoming, and made us feel like we weren’t wanted. We ordered a hookah, waited around 10 minutes for it to be prepared, and when it finally arrived, it barely worked. We asked for more coals because it wasn’t pulling properly, and he brought one coal. Shortly after,

I used to get chicken from the a flushing location, but this one is more convenient for me. I love that it’s not just chicken burgers. I can’t eat carbs anymore, but sometimes I’m craving fried chicken. I love their fried chicken wings and drumettes. It’s so flavorful. They definitely use a bit of curry powder for seasoning. I get the mild. Their spicy can get very spicy for me. Next time I will try the roast wings or whole chicken. It’s well seasoned, chicken is crunchy, and the value for the m

Decent food at reasonable prices. If you like this type of so called Halal food you probably have better chick or lamp over rice from a food truck. Some of the Halal food trucks in midtown are amazing, lots of flair because they make everything taste on the spot so they fresh. But food trucks can also get you sick. At Shah’s they have turn it into a fast food chain, so it’s clean following health department rule and what not. But then there is a trade off, freshness is not there. The food

I went here for the first time on Friday. Curiosity got the better of me and I wanted some Middle Eastern food for dinner. Goodness, the service was incredible, despite being such a small restaurant. I practically felt like family there. All of the workers were so kind and welcoming. I will say that the portions were big (for me), but the food was absolutely delicious! I'm glad a place exists that catered to those who follow a halal diet but everything was so mediocre. We got chicken over rice and biriyani. Chicken over rice was ok nothing spectacular and the biriyani rice was a bit too dry and the 2 chicken pieces were not that good. On the bright side they do give a side of salad and some yogurt/raita when you get the biriyani. Having no choice other than pizza, I'd come back here and will prob stick to chicken over rice.

I went to Kebab house for lunch with some friends, not expecting much, but I was really impressed. It had a super homey vibe, amazing food + portions, and great service. We tried the hummus, zucchini pancakes, kofte, and chicken adana. Everything was delicious and felt like a homemade meal with the perfect amount of spices/salt, and everything was really fresh. I'm definitely going back. Keep up the good work!

Dude man... I have been craving Taboule recently for some reason and I couldn't find a good damn place that had a solid one like this. For a reasonable price. They were either not the taboule I wanted, or they were criminally overpriced lol. But then I found this place! Food is bomb too! Taboule was mwah chef kiss worthy. I would consider this for an after our spot. A hookah lounge. They serve juice and snacks as well. I will say something seem a little sketchy as you do not get a receipt and the taxes you are charged are more than what they’re legally allowed to. The gratuity is also added in.

Came here yesterday to support for the first time. I’m Lebanese and love my shawarma and I seen GoldenBalance partnered so I thought it would be so good like the pictures . NOT ! This was so nasty . Recently opened cafe with stay in and take out options. Our wait time was a bit longer than we expected. A whole wheat bread was switched to brioche and wasn’t toasted. The place looked good, lots of different desserts. However, we took three desserts, 2 pieces of cake and cream Carmel flan. After starting in the cake, we discovered mold, mind you, the cake was not expired, in the fridge there were a couple of expired ones though. The flan was bad, very hard, like eating cheese cake, too sweet and stale.
