Casual, Brooklyn-based pizzeria chain serving brick-oven pies & calzones, plus wine & beer.
We went on a Tuesday evening and got in about 5:15p with no wait on the third floor. Great vibe up there. We started with the bruschetta trio and it was pretty good. Definitely not the best bruschetta I’ve ever had but still pretty solid. We then had the margherita pizza and it was really good. Nice coal-fired taste. Definitely a 5⭐️ overall experience due to the historic vibes and the good food. Service was solid too and pretty fast.

Fresh produce and locally sourced meats lead the list of ingredients at this popular American spot.
We picked this at random and it ended up being our favorite meal on our first trip to NY! The staff was super friendly. The pork shoulder with au poivre was incredible. I could eat a bowl of the sauce on those mashed potatoes. The beets were incredible. It’s simple stuff, but it’s made very well.

Landmark eatery, newly renovated, offering a New American menu & stunning views of Manhattan.
My partner and I got married at River Café on June 7, 2026, and we truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The level of service, attention to detail, and care that went into bringing our vision to life exceeded all of our expectations. Every member of the team was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. We especially want to recognize Destiny, the day-of coordinator. She was an abs

Great bakery/coffee shop. The space is beautiful and offers ample seating. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The pastries are top notch; we had the Nutty chocolate chip cookie and the Beignet. Both were delicious. The coffee was also very good. Overall a great shop.

Pizzeria peddling thin-crust pies & appetizers in a simple space under the Brooklyn Bridge.
Ignazio’s Pizza is one of those rare New York spots that feels timeless and genuinely welcoming. The pizza is outstanding—thin, crisp crust with a perfectly balanced tomato sauce and rich, fresh mozzarella that tastes homemade. Every slice feels honest and traditional, without trying too hard. The interior is warm and charming, with old-school Italian character, cozy tables, and a relaxed neighborhood vibe. Staff are friendly, efficient, and clearly proud of what they serve. Tiny, unadorned restaurant offering Pan-Asian recipes with a twist, as well as vegan options.
This place is a vibe in the heart of Brooklyn, it’s a hidden gem underrated and authentic. The cute rabbit on the wall did make us feel lucky! They were upfront about not having dedicated vegan cooking spots. The vegan truffle dumplings is extraordinary and something unexpected but to get a feeling of how something so simple can be done right try the miso soup! It’s a winner!! Thanks so much we wish you keep growing :)

Contemporary place for wood-fired Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare with wine, cocktails, plus river views.
Celebrated my birthday here and could not have been happier with the experience. The service is phenomenal and attentive—from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, you know you’ve entered somewhere special. The food was so delicious I’m still thinking about it a month later. Everything we ordered was a hit—the chicken was so tender, the hummus was mouthwateringly good, the chocolate ice cream was the richest I’ve had in my life. Highly recommend the basque cheesecake as well. Because i

I had an amazing experience and was there for one of their live jazz shows! It was an absolutely incredible time being so close to the band and performers! The volume was perfect 👌. Tons of tables and seats at and around the bar in this very spacious venue. I will be back there when they have another jazz concert which I think is on every other Wednesday. Oh and the drinks are strong 💪

Seafood restaurant serving Maine-style lobster rolls with toasted buns, plus clam chowder.
It was my first time ever trying lobster rolls and my partner and I found this place while walking around Brooklyn park. And oh my goodness, these lobster rolls are to die for. My partner said these ones were better than the ones he had tried before in Maine from a different place! The lobster meat is fresh and the bread, butter, and seasonings were perfect. The people who work here are lovely as well! My new favorite spot to eat in the city :)

Stopped by Bark Barbecue at Time Out Market in DUMBO for an episode of Jaguar’s Guide TV, and this one was a little mixed for me. The setup is a food hall, so it’s not a traditional sit-down restaurant experience. You order at the counter, grab your food, and find seating in the communal space. Service was fine, nothing bad, but nothing especially memorable either. Food-wise, the pork ribs were the clear standout. Easily the best thing on the tray and honestly out of this world. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding and they made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere of the place is spectacular — very cozy and perfect for enjoying a relaxing breakfast. It was definitely a unique experience and a place we would gladly come back to. Highly recommended.

This is my first time ever in Brooklyn NY and I chose Dawn's as my first spot to eat. Although the coffee cake was very hard at the top, it was good in the middle. I had to rip the top off and keep the middle part to be able to enjoy it (in the photo: the top is on the napkin and the moddle part is on the plate). Moca coffee was great and I also had the Egg Baked. It was great as well. The server that came and gave it to me seemed to be in a rush was pushing my bag with the plate. I said "wow...

Solid Bagel Place! I had the Signature favorite with salmon - it was tasty and the portion is solid, not too small/not too big. Everything on the bagel was fresh, the salmon had a great color and they did not hold back on it, there was a good amount of it on the bagel. A bit on the pricier side in my opinion, but you get a good product. Staff is kind and I did not have to wait more than 5 min.

It’s not a tourist trap!! We went for Mr. Bagel that has cheese, bacon, and eggs. You can choose any bagel you want among, I think, 6 to 10 options. I went for the poppy seed, and my friends went for the all-in-one. I think the all-in-one is the best option because it adds more flavor to the bagel. I would say that my bagel was not cooked evenly, so that’s why I have some points left on it. Overall, they were good. One is enough, but two is not a bad option either! Important to know is that th

Sweetgreen was a wonderful experience! The place is very clean; food is fresh and made to order. The thing I would really like to shout out is the staff and their attention to food safety! Not only did they remake an order because a piece of chicken fell in the bowl, the biggest part is that it was self-initiated; no one even had to ask! If you have special dietary needs, this is your place!

We wanted to love live place. The cool set, great location and customers from many nationalities. Unfortunately, the food was stale, coffee was warm and male counter person should not work in a client facing role. He needs a shower and attitude refresh. If you’ve been around Dumbo before, you know that restaurants will charge an arm and a leg for the same dish half the price elsewhere. Not the case here! The food here was really authentic and flavorful, the walls were just covered with notes from visitors all over the world, and the service was incredibly fast considering there were about 2 servers and maybe one guy in the kitchen. When you walk in, the guys at the front door are ensuring safety for the restaurant by checking reservations, ID’s & providing stamps to come in and out. The staff are moving dishes and drinks a million miles a minute while still providing legendary service. We started off with wine(Pinot Grigio) and it was refreshing. OddFellows Ice Cream Co. is such a fun and creative spot! The flavors are unique, playful, and really stand out compared to typical ice cream shops. Everything tasted super fresh and creamy, and you can tell they put thought into balancing flavors. Mellow neighborhood meeting place for Dumbo locals serving wines, beers & spirits.
So i walked in to 68 jay st with it already having been recommended to me by a close friend. I expected a good time. What i hadn’t expected was that the bartender who was on shift at the time that i walked in would make me feel like a close friend or even a member of family. One of the best Chinese food I have ever had, thanks to my friend Paul and the staff for the amazing service. The food taste so good, the Slippery Dumplings 🥟 with the chili oil was so delicious.. Disappointing experience overall. The chai was not authentic at all. expected real Indian cutting chai with proper ginger and spices, but it tasted nothing like it. The lunch bowl was overpriced for the tiny portion size. The futons were dirty . To top it off, the staff was quite rude when asking me not to use my laptop. Why can’t I use laptop? could have been communicated more kindly. Not worth the price for what you get.

I had been meaning to check out GAIR for a while. Located in the heart of DUMBO, it has been on my radar since it was first being built. Walking in, the space immediately delivers. The interior is beautifully designed, and the curvature of the bar creates a strong visual centerpiece. It feels like a place that works equally well for a cocktail or a date night. Good Italian restaurant inside Time Out Market. It was packed the day we went (a Sunday during the Christmas season), but we managed to snag a small table here. We really liked that you can order and pay through their app (I assume it’s the same for all restaurants in Time Out). Very solid smashburgers, but honestly there's nothing too unique about their execution other than it being technically solid. The ciabatta buns were toasted and crispy, the layers of the ingredients across both blended nicely, and to be honest I think what both of them were lacking was maybe that oomph factor - thought the BBQ smashburger was a bit better than the Timeout Burger. 7.5/10 and 7/10

I was literally running with my wife. On our 12 years reunion trip all the way from Belgium. The chef who was arrogant, refused to make another pizza at 21:14. In Google, it clearly says it is until 22:00. Maybe kitchen works till 21 and that’s not clear on Google, but refusing to do one more when you were just starting 4 new pizzas at the same moment.. is kind of arrogant from US market expectations of 20% service fees. It is radiculous! That 1 star is well deserved. Arrogant people and brands

The blueberry pancakes are worth the hype, the smoked salmon Benedict was amazing, and the strawberry waffle was easily one of the best waffles I’ve had in the city.
