Fun place to play billiards and watch the game projected on the walls. Cool graffiti style artwork throughout from the moment you walk in through the front door and down the stairs to the main sitting area. The chicken wings were ok, Korean style fried. Not much meat on those wings. Pizza ok too. Old school style video games are fun.

Intimate bistro for upscale American fare highlighting seasonal ingredients, plus beer & cocktails.
The burger is the best thing on the menu for sure! We started with the crème fraiche dip and potato chips and little gem salad, had the burger and steak frites as our mains, and ended with the banana pudding and americanos. The highlights are definitely the burger and the banana pudding - you should definitely try this dessert!! It’s not too sweet and the perfect texture, also a lot of crumble which is my favorite part. The crème fraiche and salad were great quality ingredients but I probably w

Went during happy hour. They ran a whole night Happy Hour since it’s the first day the dollar oysters are back! The oyster deal was pretty solid for $1/pc. You are only allowed to order maximum 24 pcs at a time and each person is limited to 24 pcs. The happy hour cocktails were good too and you could taste the alcohol. I ordered the Spicy Palawan with Mezcal which I enjoyed. It was a little on the sweeter side but our server was nice enough to ask the bar to adjust it with more citrus. I found y

This place is slept on, seriously. This is the only bar in the area where the cocktails don’t taste like straight juice AND I actually get what I pay for. Also, the bartenders are friendly and the food is good too. I grew up not far from here and I’ve been struggling with the east village lately. I came with my friends and we had a blast and got stuff on the house. Thanks guys!! (Bonus points for comfortable bar seats). Pic of the bartender he was so great!!

I’m not vegetarian and will gladly eat here. The people are kind and hospitable. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxed and casual for take out or dinning in. The food is delicious and the quality is great. The palak paneer was chunky!!!! In other restaurants it tends to be on the watery side. The samosas are made as you order them and I understand why their most popular dish is the most popular. I would come back again and it’s a great place to recommend. Basic barroom with pool table & jukebox considered a holdout against East Village gentrification.
I was hoping the 1 star reviews were exaggerations - there's no way these bartenders are that rude. But I’m honestly shocked by how this place treats its customers. I saw four women get kicked out for “not drinking enough” even though they each had a couple drinks and were just sitting at the bar. One bartender even said, “What, are you not gonna tip me?” completely unprovoked. There are many other bars in this neighborhood so best to avoid!

My friend and I stopped by last night and our bartender, Katka, was AMAZINGGG!!! She was accommodating and lovely to chat to. I don't usually leave reviews, but because of her I chose to go out of my way to acknowledge her service. She's a great, hardworking person and honestly deserves a raise. A bit of advice to Bull McCabe's?? GIVE HER A RAISE☺️♥️☺️ Will definitely be back and hope to see her again!

This petite coffee shop is popular with purists, offering only espresso with or without milk.
Great coffee and a wonderful atmosphere. The latte was perfectly balanced—rich and strong, not just milk with a hint of coffee. You can really taste the quality and care in every cup. A great spot to relax, catch up with friends or concentrate. Highly recommended! ☕️

This place sucks. The machine and sound quality is garbage and they over charged me on drinks and their phoned in estimate for the room was so off by $100. Never coming back here. Cafe for Australian-style coffees with table & window-counter seating & chic touches.
This Australian-style café in the East Village has a bright, welcoming, and relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by great natural light and cozy seating. The maple latte was outstanding—smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. I paired it with their fresh and flavorful avocado toast. The staff was extremely friendly and chatty. The total cost was around $18-20 per person. This is now one of my favorite coffee spots in the neighborhood!

love this bar such a cozy neighborhood spot. love the day time bartender with the blonde hair, she always greets me with a smile and fills my drink before i even have to ask. The regulars here are so cool and always great conversation if youre coming alone looking for some company, but also very respectful if you do not. 10/10 bar definitely my favorite spot in the village.

What a pleasant discovery during our walk in the East Village. We didn’t know this place at all but we saw it and stopped by for a quick coffee. We enjoyed a very nice Pastel de Nata (it brought me back to my times in Portugal)… after that we got a piece of Banana Bread and 2 well done espresso. Place was nice too. Small but quiet and cozy. Baristas were polite and attentive. We will definitely go back!

I was able to get a seat on a weekend around opening time. I got the half sandwich of the pho sandwich. The sandwich was delicious it had all the flavors of pho and even though it was half it was still a great size. You can add the broth on the side and they also have a few side options but I didnt try them and will be getting them next time. Theres a few table seats and some high seats. Theres also different types of hot sauces on the counter like Jamaica pepper sauce and Sriracha.

One of the best meals we have had in NYC. Claud completely delivered: intimate room, great energy, excellent service, a serious wine list, and food that was creative without feeling forced. The scallop skewer with lardo, spinach and artichoke mille-feuille, chicken liver agnolotti, and Dover sole with Chartreuse and lemon were all outstanding. We also loved the Boisson Rully, which paired beautifully with the meal. The devil’s food cake was a perfect finish. Easily a 10/10 date-night spot and on

Got the recommendation of this place from chatgpt. The prompt was “Karaoke bar like in American film or rom-com”. The place might look small at front but it turned out pretty big. As the night gets older the crowd gets bigger. Their song choices were pretty good, they use old schools karaoke software where we put the code to later be added by the operator to the machine. Dropped by Winson Bakery down on 2nd Avenue around 10:00 AM after a long morning run, and it was the absolute perfect way to refuel. Since we beat the peak rush, there were no lines outside and we managed to get seated in about 10 minutes or less. However, you can definitely tell this place gets much busier as the day goes on! Ordered some seasonal flavors - passionfruit, strawberry shortcake, and the banana bread cinnamon rolls. Out of all, the banana bread one is the best! I was a bit disappointed with the strawberry shortcake since the strawberry jam just tastes like a smucker’s strawberry jam instead of homemade, so it feels a little artificial. The passionfruit I also thought was a bit artificial instead of using a real passionfruit flavor. Would reorder the banana bread cinnamon rolls again, I wish they made thi

Super cute spot! Easy to make a reservation for a Sunday afternoon, and didn’t have to wait to be seated once I arrived. It’s warm, festive, cheerful, and not overly loud. A relatively small space. The Scratcher is honestly one of my favorite bars in New York City. It has a divey feel, but it’s actually really nice and comfortable — the kind of place you go when you just want a good drink without any fuss. Drinks are affordable, especially if you’re out with friends, and the service has always been solid. It stays lively, but it’s not a club vibe at all, which makes it perfect for actually hanging out and talking. The crowd feels very normal and down-to-earth, which I really appreciate. It

Fried calamari was so delicious, hot and crispy. Good pizza. However, the carbonara spaghetti we had was just weird. There was a gummy chunk of Parmesan cheese and slightly slimy egg sauce on the pasta. I wish they shaved the cheese and mixed with the egg sauce as what you expect for carbonara. Had the set menu for two that comes with the hue sampler set, two appetizers and two entrees. The sampler set was the best part; all three items were good 8.5/10. Genuinely excellent Burmese food in a tiny East Village space. The Tea Leaf Salad (laphet thoke) is the standout and the most authentic version I've had — some places drown it in fried garlic, but here it's balanced just right, so you actually taste the fermented tea leaves, the nuts, and the brightness instead of just garlic.
