Really good veggie pizza and excellent service. If you’re near Times Square and looking for a good vegetarian pizza, this is a great choice. They also have decent seating. Special thanks to Fam, the manager, who was very helpful and welcoming.

Simple eatery offering both original & familiar Chinese dishes from duck tongue to pepper steak.
The best Hunan style Fish Head with chopped chili peppers! I have been searching this dish in various cities and this is the best one I have tasted — rivals the best Hunan restaurants in Shanghai. Fresh, flavorful, the perfect amount of spice, served in a huge ceramic basin. Will definitely return and bring family & friends. The restaurant also has a big menu with lots of other authentic Chinese dishes that I want to try next time.

As a Georgian, I highly recommend Cheeseboat in New York! The food is so incredibly delicious that this restaurant would be a massive hit even in Georgia. Every Georgian living in NY simply must visit this place. However, the absolute highlight is the restaurateur and chef, Keti. She embodies true Georgian motherly warmth and welcomes you just like a Georgian mother would. It is simply the best place! I highly recommend it to all New Yorkers who want to experience authentic Georgian flavors and

The drinks are top-notch—expertly crafted and consistently delicious. Whether you’re into classic cocktails, craft beers, or something new, there’s something for everyone. But what really sets this place apart is the service and atmosphere. Kevin was our bartender/server and was super sweet and provided great customer service! It’s warm, inviting, and full of energy without being overwhelming. Perfect spot for lunch or a drink on the go a night out with friends or a casual evening to unwind.

I dined at Gurumé with a friend in from DC, who had been there before. She has been raving about the place, and it did not disappoint. Far from it -- Gurumé wowed us! Every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. We started with the Scallops Crudo, with hokkaido scallops that themselves were wonderful, plated beautifully, and nestled in a very tasty, light broth. We also shared the Brussle Sprouts, which were so tasty, and got even better as they sat and the tasty dr

As a Chinese person, I can confidently say that Xie Bao is one of the most authentic Jiangsu–Zhejiang (Jiangnan) restaurants I’ve ever had in the United States. This was my second visit, and once again every single dish was absolutely outstanding. The flavors are incredibly authentic and immediately reminded me of home. If I had to recommend one dish, the Crab Roe Mixed Rice is a must-order and easily the No. 1 item on my list. Honestly, I wish I could come here every week. The complimentary s

Warm New American eatery with a bar & basement cabaret, known for drawing theatergoers & performers.
Went for brunch with a friend who had the eggs Benedict. I thought his eggs Benedict was better than the avocado toast I ordered, which was very average. We also shared the risotto ball hash, which was also pretty good. Overall I guess food was a fair 4 ⭐️ even though I was underwhelmed by my avocado toast, which was fairly basic, lacking imagination and flavor. Service and atmosphere were good. Apparently there is a little “theatre” space downstairs that could host comedy shows and the like.

Classic Japanese cuisine including an extensive sushi menu, served in a modern setting.
“Sushi Damo” in NYC, I highly recommend! Went here yesterday with my friend for lunch, we walked in. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Thank you for the recommendations. Super helpful when we mentioned one of us is gluten free. Delicious cocktails (Butterfly) and mocktails (Japanese soda). For starters, we had Edamame with salt, and shared between the two of us: salmon avocado roll, yellowtail scallion roll, crazy horse roll and Godzilla. Great place to come if you love fish! We had ordered quite a few dishes and were truly happy with everything. The burrata was creamy and silky, probably the best l have ever had. The arancine should be listed as extra large, they are huge! The spaghetti with chicken meatballs were a hit with my friend's son and the gnocchi melted in your mouth, they were so soft. There were two downsides. We were a party of three but they seated us at a two top right on top of the wait station with plenty of open tables. Also, our server might hav

Informal, compact restaurant with exposed-brick walls serving Chinese cuisine & seafood specialties.
Had dinner at Le Xia in Manhattan and it was such a satisfying experience. We ordered the crab meat pot, BBQ skewers, and black pepper iron plate beef — everything came out flavorful and well-seasoned. The crab meat pot was rich and comforting, definitely the highlight of the meal. The beef was tender with a nice peppery kick, and the skewers were perfectly grilled with that smoky aroma. Portions are generous and great for sharing with friends. Overall, a solid spot if you’re craving Chinese-s

Absolutely loved this place! We ordered the whole fish and it was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Super fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The topping with chopped peppers, garlic, and herbs made it really fragrant and slightly spicy in the best way. The fish was tender and easy to eat, you can tell they know what they’re doing. The dessert was also amazing—light, refreshing, and not too sweet. It was the perfect way to end the meal, especially after such a f

A visit to High Bar New York is, first and foremost, about the setting. The view is genuinely fantastic and sets the tone the moment you walk in. The entrance was cosy and charming, but I loved it even more when we went upstairs. Although it wasn't very private, it still had its charm! The wine selection was fantastic, and the sommelier was incredibly helpful—though I can’t remember his name. If you enjoy stories like I do, you’re in for a treat! Our appetizer was delicious, but unfortunately, my partner's steak was overcooked. He ordered it medium rare, and the waiter suggested medium, but it came out nearly well done. My partner could

I recently visited Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. and I can honestly say it’s one of the most unique and memorable coffee experiences I’ve had in the area. Extremely disappointing customer service. When we arrived, there was already a line of customers waiting on one side of the counter. Instead of informing us where to queue, the staff simply ignored the customers who had been waiting and proceeded to serve newly arrived customers. This created unnecessary confusion and was very frustrating. What was even more disappointing was that our drinks had been prepared, yet no one called out our order or notified us. We ended up waiting in the store for

OMG! So I googled a place with great burgers but not expensive in NYC and this place popped up. It was only a 9 min walk from our hotel and we tried it and let me say we were so impressed. The burger are big and juicy with flavor and they have a deal to make it a combo which was nice when people are on a budget. The bun was so soft. The food was better then a full sit in restaurant and cheaper. You must try this place!

I stopped Green Oven Pizza to try vegan, gluten-free pizza for the first time and it was good. They also offer pasta, salads, and smoothies, plus regular (non-vegan) pizza slices. The space is roomy with plenty of seating, and their refreshing lemonade pairs perfectly with a slice. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their vegan pizza as they have a good amount of options.
