Had an amazing experience at Spice Mantra! The food was absolutely delicious with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Every bite was full of rich spices and tasted fresh. Honestly an easy and reliable yummy experience. I had to experience a nearby place along 5th avenue to have a much better appreciation of this place. Phenomenal experience. The food was fabulous and I may have only had one other pork chop that compared... The price is worth it for the quality of the food. Mickey was incredibly attentive as our waiter, offered suggestions, but also wasn't hovering. I got a taste of the flat iron as well, and the flavor was spot on. The food is so good. Like some of the best. Their fried chicken with cornflake batter is really good. The chimichurra sauce is also really good. All the sides were amazing from their coconut rice to their queso corn, to the potatoes. Food also tasted of really good quality. My food came out fairly quick. Not only did they burn our coffee, but they also don't have an oven for heating food, and they didn't mention it when we ordered. A must-visit for South Indian food in Rockefeller Center! ​The self-service ordering process is seamless, and the food is outstanding. The ghee dosa was perfectly extra-crispy just like we asked, the kheema ghee dosa was packed with flavor, and the vegetable uttapam "taco" was a fun, delicious twist. Even the upma was great. My only critique is that the filter coffee comes pre-sweetened and was a little too sweet for me. Highly recommended!
