Very pretty looking, modern restaurant across the street from Barclay’s Center. Beautiful storefront and interior, with comfortable seating, including booths. Nice wall decor. Food was good, as were the drinks (when they finally arrived, after the meal!). Service was rather spotty. We felt almost ignored at some points, particularly when asking repeatedly about the whereabouts of our cocktails which came eventually, but did not come cheap ($16-$20). Otherwise, an enjoyable meal, and nice atmosph

This McDonald's is one of the worst McDonald's I have ever visited. I placed my order through the kiosk. The kiosk took my code but didn't allow me to complete the order. When I attempted to seek assistance the manager was unwilling to check the kiosk or resolve my issue. He refused to say his name, walking away leaving me and other customers unassisted. There was no one else present at the registers. This place was a complete chaos. The workers in the back were yelling at the manager, while the

Rustic eatery with American comfort food, such as chicken and waffles, plus cocktails and brunch.
I love Sweet Chick, but I will say this isn't my favorite location. Don't get me wrong the food was good but the portion size for my fish sandwich and side wasn't as large as I've had it at other locations(Manhattan locations). I believe all the food is the same price if not more at this location, so I was expecting the same amount of food as I had at other locations and didn't receive that. Also the service was friendly but not very attentive. Sweet Chick in general is still great though!

The sun was out, cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so we stopped by here after walking around the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, honestly perfect timing and vibes. This place is super popular and I get why. It was packed but the service was insanely quick and efficient, which I appreciated. We shared the chirashi (9/10) and a spicy tuna roll (7/10) and it was honestly more than enough food for both of us. The sashimi is chef’s choice so you’re getting whatever’s freshest that day. Might’ve found my new breakfast/ brunch spot and I will be back for dinner to confirm that this is my new spot all around. My food was delicious and my wife was pleased with her meal as well. The drinks were great as well. It was small inside but not too cramped. I like the homey feel. Our server, Sage, was amazing. Really attentive and explained a lot about the restaurant and how they cook their food. I took his suggestion on my meal and was very happy. I will definitely be back and refer this

This place is SO underrated!! I order takeout from them monthly, and last night I went to dine in for the first time. The service was excellent and I was surprised it wasn’t packed. For appetizers we got the vegetable pakora and aloo tikka chana, which we INHALED. I wanted to order seconds. For the main I got chicken tikka masala and lamb vindaloo which was very spicy, PERFECT! We got the garlic naan and garlic chili naan. We also got their three most popular chutneys. I also got a sweet lassi.

Sofreh has a really nice and cozy vibe. The place looks beautiful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered pomegranate beef ribeye, eggplant dip, and half chicken. Went to Born with my friend for an early dinner and it wasn't very busy. Our waitress Jay was also our bartender, and she was an absolute darling and knows her way around that bar! We ordered the marinated pork & the shrimp mango salad to start & share. I also got the chicken krapow over rice with the fried egg and it was amazing. This was the most delicious tacos I’ve had, compared to the other places I’ve gone. The tacos itself had a good crunch and wasn’t soggy at all, made on the spot beef. Portion was surprisingly huge and the pricing is of good value. Easily able to feed 2 person for a single portion. The serving was generous, lots of ingredients such as cheese, vege, beans, tomatoes, sauce and chicken. Good for a quick and cheap takeaway without breaking the bank for a meal in NYC. Great spot with a real New Orleans vibe that goes beyond the menu. The creole okra gumbo was delicious and so was the shrimp po boy. There’s also a good variety of east coast oysters which you can get for half the price during happy hour. The owner is really kind and is most times behind the bar shucking oysters himself. This is a great little bar. I'm not too hip on the craft beers , but what I did have was pretty good. Interesting conversation with the bar person as well as patrons. I really wanted to like this place because the reviews seemed great and the energy was welcoming but the sushi just didn't satisfy. My friends and I were able to get table for 4 on a Saturday evening as a walk in. The Ogliastro salad was delicious and devoured within minutes of being set down on our table. The pizza was very good with unique toppings, we got the polpette and another with prosciutto and shaved Brussels. The crust was soft and perfectly cooked and the topping were fresh and unique.
