I enjoyed my visit to Bodega 88! The food was excellent — I had the Comida Familiar ($24.25) with Ropa Vieja(+$1.25), and it was flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. A wonderful breakfast. Everything is served neatly and with care: crispy, hot fritters with a soft texture inside, paired with fresh sauces that complement them perfectly. I had the best experience giving a private lunch party at Serafina 105th St. for 50 people. We held it in the lovely private room and thankfully the summer weather permitted it to extend to a few tables outside on the patio adjacent to the private room, which has its own entrance. This great fast casual spot features the BEST rotisserie chicken. They also have great smoothies and nice desserts. Extremely warm customer service (shoutout to Johnny). They have self serve drinks. I haven’t tried the pizza but it looks good. Can’t wait to have the chicken again

The spinach dumplings are divine thanks also to the extremely tasty spicy sauce. The ‘spicy’ handcut noodles were super delicious but not very spicy (despite the request). But just pour over the dumplings’ sauce and Voilà: one sublime dish. Huge portion (the noodles).

We’ve been going to both locations for decades and last night, for the first time, we went for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect! They did a little decorating (cute, they made an effort) and the special kitfo with vegan sampler was the best. Not to be dramatic but Banh is so so so good. Genuinely everything I’ve tried on the menu has been really incredible and the flavors are executed so well and with so much depth. Usually go to a location closer to my neighborhood but was running errands this morning and was surprised to see a Blank Street this far uptown. As soon as I walked in it was great vibes, good music playing and not to mention jam packed with teenagers. Still got my latte super fast and the manager got me to try the shortcake matcha ON THE HOUSE which I’m so glad I did. Was really craving for a fantastic burger. There was a bit of a queue but it moved fast. The guy at the counter was warm and friendly. It felt like a long wait, this was around 6pm Sunday and there were lots of orders but as always, 7th Street burger is worth the wait! Honestly one of my top 3 burgers here in NYC.
