We had a wonderful experience at Cafe Hong Kong! The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly affordable. You absolutely must try their crispy chicken and the salt and pepper squid with its amazing wok hei. The lunch deals were amazingly reasonable. Plus, they gave us a free bowl chicken soup! 🍜😋

I’ve been coming here for years, and the food never disappoints. There’s a staff member who’s been there a long time, I’m not sure of his name, but he’s always friendly and clearly values great customer service. I made sure to grab some takeout before heading back to Long Island since there aren’t any HK cafés out there, and I happened to be in Brooklyn anyway, so why not? The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious.

As a girly from the West Coast (SoCal-- who arguably knows matcha better than the East Coast) this place was amazing. I got the Matcha Koya— outstanding! Robust umami flavor paired excellently with lychee. I can’t wait to come back and try more drinks my next trip! Staff was very friendly and service was crazy quick! I visited Shah’s Halal Food and was overall satisfied. I ordered a combo platter — the portion was generous, and the food was tasty and fresh. A great little bar showing soccer, lots of EPL and Bundesliga fans. They were nice enough to throw on the Leeds game for us on the main tv, it had been showing in one of the smaller tvs but they were helpful and kind, making sure we could use the main projector that no one was watching on. I really wanted to like this place because the reviews seemed great and the energy was welcoming but the sushi just didn't satisfy. It was a bit fishy and I'm normally not bothered by that kind of thing but some of the fish was also very tough (texture). Not super expensive thank goodness. Do yourself a favor and order the fried shrimp Alfredo pasta. The shrimp tastes fresher than seafood spots. The Alfredo is on the money and they give you a good amount. This is a sleeper if you want good food, I ordered this dish 3 times and they made it the way I like every time. 10 outta 10

Although the presentation only looks good from one angle (bald spot in the back etc. SMH) the cake taste delicious not too sweet just right the blue frosting had everyone’s lips blue tho it didn’t taste like dye the guava filling was on point we truly enjoyed it. The total for the cake was $80 and it was ready on the date and time I requested. Would recommend just don’t get any pictures on your cake they need to get their skills up. The passion fruit dessert is a go as well.

The pizza was unusually crispy on the bottom. It was a little too crunchy for my liking. It’s definitely not your typical New York slice.

The iced drinking chocolate was so yummy especially during the summer months. I did the half white chocolate and half milk chocolate. It was the perfect balance of sweetness but the chocolate was still rich. The staff helped me figured out the mix to get based on how sweet you want it.

This is probably the closest you’ll get to the authentic Jamaican flavor and juiciness of a beef patty. Still, nothing quite compares to a freshly made Jamaican patty with cocoa bread. It’s flaky, flavorful, and really satisfying. I tried the cheese patty with cocoa bread as well as a regular beef patty. Both were good and definitely hit the spot. Overall, it was really delicious, and I’d recommend checking it out.

This small, unassuming counter service bakery should be all over social media, their treats are incredible!!! The PB&J puff is a perfectly decadent dessert. The guava cheesecake Danish and cookie butter cheesecakes are super creamy and tasty.

I had this place bookmarked for years and FINALLY crossed it off my list. I am sorry I have no photo to show because I was busy enjoying it and could not wait to do so. Boxed like a sandwich gift from the gods only to so graciously be devoured without a second thought. I got semolina bread, steak cheesesteak: provolone, green and hot pepper, onion, ketchup and mayo.

The brown butter banana latte is good! Everything was combined nicely and the drink itself was perfectly sweet. The banana taste came in more subtly. I felt I initially taste the brown butter before the banana aftertaste comes through. The cafe itself is really cute and there’s some tables for seating. We also tried the carrot cake which was delicious and the cream cheese frosting was great.

Just have a lunch at Boran Thai today. The food was delicious, Yum Woon Yen was very refreshing a little spicy and sour, Pumpkin curry was creamy and hit with a pumpkin test getting along well with fall season. If you like spicy I really recommend a Kua Kling Moo !!

Always my go to for Korean LA galbi. My kids love it here. The service is great and a lot of side dishes. It’s a family vibe and pretty decently sized for large parties. Prices on moderate side as they follow the typical pricing of galbi. They do offer to bypass card fees if you pay cash - they give you a discount.

This was my first time going to IHOP. I ordered chicken and waffles for brunch with a side of fries. The waffles were a bit dry but the chicken and the ranch were good. The fries were flavorful and the waffles were soft and chicken crisp. The waitresses were kind and the wait for the food wasn't too long. The atmosphere felt comfortable.

Kingston Hall is one of those hidden gems you don’t know how you ever lived without. The atmosphere is so cozy and fun with perfectly dim lighting.
