One of the most memorable bakery visits I’ve had in NYC! I tried four of their cakes and each one was a work of art in both flavor and presentation. Today i had a really nice experience at this store and the front guy i think GOURAV he was working there. Great communication skills he has and i was happy from his service. Apart from service the pizza's Every bite was full of fresh flavor and perfectly made. I’m honestly amazed that someone can have this kind of magic in their hands — the taste was unreal. Wow What a great spot and the price is unbeatable. I highly recommend coming to this spot. I also highly recommend getting the spinach pie. It was delicious. My friend and I got the platter dishes, the chicken and the lamb. The lamb was out of this world. The cooks and the staff were very friendly as well. Ordered a vanilla scone and a piece of Dubai chocolate. Had to clarify that I didn’t wish for the chocolate to be heated. In between putting the scone in a bag and putting the chocolate in another bag, the server talked to his co-worker, put 2 sandwiches in the microwave and started heating them, straightened the cups, and asked if I wanted the chocolate heated. I love an establishment with window service—harkens back to the good old days of covid to-go drinks. Wangs is an Asian Soul Food restaurant serving up chicken many different ways. I got the lunch special with a chicken slider and cornbread for $13. I was pleasantly surprised that it was the kind of slider that's about 3/4 the size of a regular burger and not 1/4 the size.

Very disappointed in the jerk chicken dinner, I asked for sauce on the chicken and when I got home and opened the food it was swimming in bbq and jerk sauce, making it completely inedible. The rice was covered in sauce as well as the cabbage and plantain. Not sure if I’ll be visiting any time soon

Does this place deserve 5 stars? I’m not sure, but it was definitely better than the 1.4 stars it has. Is the food overpriced. Yeah sure. Did it take 25 mins to come out… yeah sure. Does it have one of the worst views of a restaurant I’ve seen, yeah sure. But the food was actually pretty good, and we needed to waste a couple hours before our flight. I would actually eat here again. It’s an airport restaurant…. And it did what it was supposed to do.

So this is my fourth time ordering from this restaurant and I am absolutely disgusted because I found maggots floating on top of my beans. I called the store to let them know and they insisted that that’s impossible. They don’t have worms in their beans. He then told me I had two options cancel it or come in and get a new order. There are four types of restaurants in the world. NYC has a lot of restaurants that are expensive and are good or those that are cheap and are good. Unfortunately, Bar Italia is expensive and awful. I was charged $39 pre-tax, pre-tip 19 pieces of chicken cubes (yes, I counted)! Will never order from Just Salad again. Not only was there a LARGE INSECT in one of our salads, every single item in our order was either completely missing or missing a side or part of the order. Churro donut pretzel was good enough but everything else was a miss on the food side of things. Idk how long the shawarma taco meat sat out but it was very dried out and not hot when served to us. The al pastor tacos were some of the worst flavor and texture wise. The personal pretzel and queso was okay at best. I don’t plan to return which is a shame because it is fully vegan but for a $50 price tag I’m looking for better food.
