Me and my daughter are visiting from out of town and wanted to try some NYC pizza joints. Our opinion of this joint is OK. Our opinion is as follows, we both agreed that their is not enough cheese on the pizza, the sauce was a bit watered down for our liking and the 1st bite just seemed bland to us. Connecticut Muffin is a good spot whenever I’m in the neighborhood. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming — perfect for a solo coffee break or catching up with a friend. Their muffins are truly the star of the show (the banana chocolate chip is a personal favorite), but everything I’ve tried has been fresh and tasty.

I popped into this bakery recently and was so glad I did. The smell of fresh bread hit me the moment I walked through the door and it was honestly hard to pick just one thing. Everything looked so authentic and delicious, and I ended up grabbing a few different treats to take home. It had such a warm, neighborhood feel to it that made the whole experience really enjoyable, and I’ll definitely be back to try more of their selection.

The hookah was good!!! When it was harsh and hard to pull, the staff was quick to fix my hookah. The finger food was quick and decent prices. I’ve been here before and the staff are always friendly. Usually the music wasn’t too loud that I couldn’t hear my friends.

I seemed to only take photos of the pastries but also had the burrito. We arrived at 12:30pm to a busy but no line place on a Monday. Shared the chicharon and burnt ends burrito and boy they were amazing! Price is good for the quality of the fillings and freshly made wraps. The chicharon was my favourite with crunchy pork and filled with beans, my husband preferred the burnt ends well filled with egg and cheese.

Got this as a recommendation from a friendly bartender at Black Iron Burger near Central Park. We hit a lot of the famous Manhattan pizza spots, which were great, but this one was really good. It’s a neighborhood spot with no line whatsoever when we were there (Saturday night around 7pm). I would definitely recommend the Margherita and Grandma slices!

We ordered from her last night thru Grubhub. The cake slice had mold on it! That is disgusting and extremely unsanitary. So either they knew it was spoiled and we're trying to get rid of it, or they weren't aware that their fridge was in need of maintenance. Something that is usually checked during a health inspection and which should have been repaired if noted. When we called to let them know, we were told to contact Grubhub to get a refund.

Best Chinese BBQ Skewer in Flushing! The price is fairly cheap compared to the other places I’ve been to in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I see a lot of people give bad reviews because they food was cold or it took too long. This is a BBQ Skewer restaurant, you’re suppose to eat it fresh and NOT get it to go. This is the small bar inside the Algonquin hotel. It's a beautiful space, with marble throughout. The actual bar is quite tiny - I would not recommend a large group visit at the same time. The drinks we had were quite good, but pricey. Definitely worth a stop if you're staying in the Algonquin as well.

I’m not entirely sure what I expected walking into this place, but they surpassed any expectation. Latte was delicious at a reasonable price, their clothes are obviously high quality with great design, and the atmosphere was everything. After spending the past two years without access to my motorcycle, it was a breath of fresh air to sit on that couch nestled between two amazing bikes. This is every biker’s happy space.

Great!!!! Food was super good, portions were extremely generous, staff were so nice. Emphatically fresh toppings, and everything had a real made-in-house look and taste to it.

When I first ate food from here I had arroz con gandules and pastelles. It was great. This time I went and order some pastelles and when I cook them there were two huge pieces of fat on each side in the middle. This is disgusting. Maybe you’re trying to save money but this is not the way we should eat pastelles. Please if you cant make them correctly don’t sell them. Otherwise the food we ate there was good and I didn’t have problems with the staff.

This Blue Bottle Coffee location is small and intimate but has a great vibe. The drinks were excellent (we had the cappuccino, the chai latte, and the matcha latte). The almond croissant was large and rich but wasn't the best we've had. Nonetheless, great experience!

This is an awesome cozy spot in bayside! Very delicious desserts and great atmosphere. Our server was amazing and attentive. Weekends are extremely crowded and may require a little bit of wait time but on weekdays you can definitely get a table upon walk in. The only critique I have of this restaurant is the proportion sizes are just a tad bit on the smaller side for the price. Other than that this a great place to take friends and family for a sweet night out!
