Honestly looking for a bar that has quality service and great attitude is hard to find nowadays, I was greeted warmly and was served pretty quick. I also like that they have security especially since there’s people that tend to get rowdy so they help make a safe environment to enjoy a drink or two.

If you’re anywhere near this bakery, it’s absolutely worth the stop. Their cookies are on another level-freshly made daily, and you can really taste the difference. My personal favorites are the cheddar, earl grey lemon, and coconut ube. Each one has the perfect texture: crisp enough on the outside and soft, almost melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. The whiting fish here was really fresh and crispy! The flavor was perfect — not too salty, and the portion size was great for the price. The staff were friendly and quick with my order. Definitely recommend this place if you like good fried fish!❤❤❤

If you are looking for the best coffee in the neighborhood, as well as cozy, magical, and welcoming atmosphere - look no more. The owner - Amber - is one of a kind: fun, genuine, generous. She puts all her huge heart into this place, and it shows. The coffee here is from Stumptown coffee, the pastries are from Balthazar - it does not get any better than that. Oh, and if you’re up for a fun challenge - count all the birdies in the shop!

The table was kind of dirty but I wasn’t going to eat there anyways so it’s chill. The young woman working at the counter was amazing. She was so kind and respectful. I could see how hard working she was as many customers came in at once.

I would give them a 5 star for food but the only drawback is the service. Two hairs came out of the shrimp wonton dumpling. The broth for the beef noodle feels different (it's clear and white) vs. The Greenpoint location (where they use the real beef broth). Shanghai pork dumpling is dry and feels overcooked. Overall very terrible and below average vanessas. Don't recommend for sanitary reasons

The coffee here is excellent and the staff is both friendly and professional. It’s located in a great area, making it a perfect local spot when it’s actually open. However, the main issue is the lack of consistency with their operating hours. The place is often closed, and the hours listed on Google are frequently incorrect. It would be a much better experience if they could provide a reliable schedule for their customers.

This place is amazing. It is my #1 go to for Dim Sum. I've been to a lot of Dim Sum houses that were much bigger, had more comfortable seating & larger selections, but for me this place is a lot more welcoming. When you go to the counter to order, all their Dim Sum offerings are in labeled pictures. No more fumbling around trying to be understood by someone who is not fluent in English. Been there twice. Asked them for iced coffee w oat milk and they gave me almond milk. And the other one I ordered the special matcha they had and they just gave me regular matcha ha. So the iced coffee is good, but the service just not the best. Or I was not lucky idk

We stopped by for breakfast on Valentine’s Day. They were doing a buy one, get one cruller. We ordered the BEC, maple cruller and cinnamon cruller. The BEC was great and the egg was cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed both cruller flavors but the maple was the star! Would return for sure!

For me this place is such a hidden gem! I was visiting NYC and had to drop by my fav store bode and they staff told me the designer who did bode stores also did the bar, so I visited as part of my interior design inspo list, have to say the atmosphere is awesome! The bartender is very accommodating since I don’t drink alcohol, absolutely amazing would def come back!

First experience having Pho, what a wonderful one this is. Counter person is very nice when I called ahead and went to pick it up. Anywhere between 5 to 10 minutes to prepare. This is a FANTASTIC meal and decently priced. Definitely will be a bi weekly regular.

Stopped here for breakfast before going to church nearby with some friends, the bagel shop is literally so cute and the staff is amazing and friendly! I must say out of the bagel shops I visited during my trip to New York City this one is one of the best ones I’ve been to! I think the cream cheese’s they make homemade in the restaurant, bagels are also top tier! I will definitely come back next time I’m in the Queens area!

We had a surprisingly nice dinner here during a recent stay at the hotel. Frankly, I went in expecting a typical sad and dreary airport hotel restaurant. Boy, was I wrong. It started with a very friendly greeting at the reception area. The service was way better than my expectations. The steak frite was good, bordering on excellent. My wife’s pasta was decent. Overall a good experience and we will definitely eat here again next time we are ‘stuck’ in JFK.

A hidden gem in the city. MONTE has been my go to since they opened in December last year. Some of the kindest and friendliest hospitality you’ll experience by the family owners and staffs. Can’t recommend more of their matcha latte, almond cookie, every pastries and sandwiches baked and made in house, and my recent obsession of their cold brew. Always wanted to visit this Mexican cafe. My bf and I both ordered their Roma latte special with oat milk, him iced and mine hot. The barista described it as hazelnut, but it’s thicker than a normal syrup. They were really good and highly recommend. We also shared a concha which was good.
