I was thrilled to see ZZ’s Clam Bar and its space reopening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was perfect for a Friday night dinner. I got fried chicken fingers last evening and they seem fried twice as they were over fried and too tough to eat and wait times are longer than nice sit down restaurants. French fries cold too, bad experience and since you pick food up there and have to take it to another location to eat it they shouldn’t be so cheap and at least put food in a covered container not a flmsmy uncovered container. BDC Studios is right across the street from our office—perfect for team events! I have seen this restaurant for some time but I never seem to be shopping at Essex Market after it opens. Luckily I mad it there yesterday and it was wonderful. There is only counter seating which at first seem surprisingly high till you get used to it. Great service, the bagels 🥯 are fresh. Hidden bagel store in Coney Island. I’ve heard about this bagel store about half a year ago from locals finally got a chance to try it. Bagels have different flavors jalapeños cheese, Parmesan mozzarella bagel. Those special flavors bagels caught my attention. I bought their daily commuter special a coffee and plain bagel with butter for $3.50 and 7 bagels to go, got to try their special flavors. The atmosphere decor is not the ordinary bagel deli store.

I usually don’t leave reviews unless something really stands out, but I was quite disappointed with the almond croissant here. I visited on a weekday afternoon, and unfortunately, both the outside and inside were very dry—it was tough to chew and reminded me of animal feed. My friend finished it so it wouldn’t go to waste, but honestly, I didn’t think it was worth the calories. I haven’t tried their other pastries, but I wouldn’t recommend the almond croissant.

M&J on 29th Street has the best fried rice in Manhattan! It was so delicious and filling, I packed it on my flight with me and enjoyed every bite. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again. And the service is great.

Came here after leaving the hospital, hungry and pregnant, only to be told they’re cash only. I go out of my way to use their ATM and pay extra fees just to get cash, then I’m told the grill is closed for catering. That information should have been shared before making customers take out cash. Completely inconsiderate and a waste of time and money. I will not be spending my money here ever they are rude the lady walked away while I’m talking!

I was disappointed with my breakfast. The breaded chicken cutlet I was served had a noticeably pink center when I cut into it, which made me uncomfortable continuing to eat it. The griddle cakes were delicious, the breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and cooked, but the eggs were much runnier than I expected. Unfortunately, the chicken cutlet was a miss for me.
