Ordered roast beef foot long & cranberry cheesecake cookies thru UberEats app. I payed for 50% more meat which was ignored and I’m pretty sure the meat was not roast beef but some sort of chopped beef or steak. Bad experience; he short guy served me a old dry up pizza; Which was from a small pie, I pad $8:00 for (2) small slices of a small pizza pie, added sausage. Walked into this gem on a whim after playing tourist in the city. I have to say my wife and I had a great experience here, and a big part of that was our bartender, Alyssa. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and her recommendations were spot on. We tried the Northern Old Fashioned and the St. James Spritz, and both were outstanding—well-balanced and expertly made. First, support local Black-owned businesses! PERIOD. The owner is the kindest soul and imbues the atmosphere with such joy and community. I always enjoy interacting with other customers and you can tell this cafe is not just about the coffee, but also about bringing people together. Not to mention that coffee tastes great and there is always a fun selection of pastries and other good eats.

This place is an amazing hidden gem. Their food is absolutely delicious, baked fresh every day. I went to get a chocolate rasberry cake for my aunt's birthday, and not only was it insanely delicious, but they wrote a nice note on it, gave me free churros on the house while I waited briefly for them to prep it, and the price was very reasonable as well. Awesome , warm very holiday and neighborhood friendly cafe. They offer alot of delicious coffee, tea, fresh made cold ice tea lemonade with fruits etc. Deserts are freshly made daily and delicious. They also offer Gelato. This place is a must if you're looking for a quiet coffee spot day or night .

I bought a Dominican cake for my dad’s birthday and I gave them a picture for the inspiration it was an easy design and they gave me something that looks nothing like what I ordered. And they left paper on the cake because “it would have stained the white frosting” like what? Don’t order cakes from there other than what they already have done. People said the cake tastes good so at least that was worth the money but design wise they are bad.
