This little Mexican place prepares a mix of classic & contemporary dishes in brick-walled quarters.
Walked passed with a couple friends on route to another mexican spot around the corner but we decided to give the place a try. Honestly up there with some of the best tacos ive had. You can mix and match any tacos and i did the chicken, steak and fish..all delicious! My friends also loved their food. Very small place and u even have to walk through the kitchen to get to the restroom but its these small, unpretencious places that always serve up the best. Nice service. The sangria also looked goo

Glitzy restaurant in the former Limelight space offering modern Chinese fare in a multiroom setting.
Jue Lan Club Manhattan One of my absolute go to spots in the city! From the moment you walk in, Jue Lan Club gives that upscale, intimate vibe dim lighting, elegant decor, and the kind of energy that makes any night feel special. The food here is always on point flavorful, beautifully plated, and served in perfect portions. I ordered the steak and the salmon, both cooked to perfection, juicy and tender. The fried lobster bites were a standout crispy, golden, and full of flavor. The crab and o

Cozy nook turning out pies with a unique sesame-seed crust, along with homestyle Italian fare.
If you live or are around Maspeth this place is a must-go. They serve delicious pizza with sesame crust. It gaves this pretty unique taste like no other. For $22 we ordered a large pie: half cheese, half pepperoni and I am definitely coming back to try Sicilian. There is a very polite and peaceful atmosphere, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Give it a try!

Great flavorful fried rice, just what I wanted and at an affordable price. Little mom & pop shop, small but decent environment. I ordered the basil fried rice & vegetable spring rolls. Both 10 out of 10. I’d definitely recommend this place & will be back when in the city.

Traditional kitchen featuring classic Korean BBQ options grilled at the table, plus sushi & sashimi.
This is a great restaurant and my favorite place to bring a family. It is very kid friendly. We went for a family meal with 9 people, aged 11-83 years old. We ordered the triple combo, 2 orders of mandu, japchae and haemul paejon and it was enough for our party. The staff are very attentive. Everyone was happy with the meal. My absolute favorite thing about San Soo Kap San 2 though are the beautiful array of banchan. They provided egg souffle and soft tofu soup with the meal. I also love that af

Excellent experience ordering a zucchini pie from Hooks! From the second I walked in, I felt like I’ve been going there forever! Everyone was welcoming and that alone makes me want to go back. The zucchini pie was incredible! They were very generous with the zucchini!! You can tell the ingredients are high quality and that they take time perfecting their food. I can’t wait to go back and test out the menu!!!!

Both famous & lesser-known comedians perform stand-up acts at this long-running comedy club.
Comedians where amazing and the waitresses was cheerful. The prices did increase by 5 dollars from the normal menu during the show. It also took a long time for the food to come out, and when it did the pizza was still cold. The cheesecake was amazing though! Next time I would make sure to eat before coming, and keep orders to just drinks or cheesecake. Pictures are of the menu with prices for events. If you are there outside of a comedy night it is 5 bucks cheeper.

Casual Vietnamese restaurant serving up bowlfuls of pho & other traditional dishes.
If you’re searching for authentic Vietnamese pho in Brooklyn, Pho Hoai should be at the top of your list. This spot has quietly built a reputation as one of the best pho restaurants in Brooklyn, and after visiting, it’s easy to understand why. The beef phở is the star of the menu. The broth is beautifully clear, aromatic, and deeply flavorful, simmered long enough to develop that rich, comforting depth that great pho is known for. It’s clean, balanced, and never overly salty. The rice noodles

Food is pretty good, but the service can be stagnant and slow. Slow enough for me to be slightly bothered by it. I still give the review a 4 star because the food is definitely on point. I'd advise ordering from the app ahead of time if time is something you can't afford to waste. Even though I can't fully guarantee that because I haven't used the app as of yet. I hope it works in your favor.

Toast Cafe Brasserie—Robbery in Progress, No Ski Mask Required From the looks of the place when you walk in, Toast Cafe Brasserie seems well-maintained and decent. Clean buffet stations, organized layout, the promise of variety and friendly staff. Looks can be deceiving. I filled up my plate with an assortment of steamed vegetables, fried rice, orange chicken, and Mongolian beef. Ordered a green juice and proceeded to checkout, where I was hit with the first shock of the day: a $35 price tag.

Horrible horrible food. The food has no flavor and who does chicken and waffle with chicken tenders ? Rather than fried chicken. The Dj was ehhh until later on. Highly overpriced for poor food and service! They charge for everything even to breathe. They do a mandatory coat check at the door which shouldn’t be like that. They charge $10 for coat check and if you want to keep your coat/jacket on they charge you $20! Why am I paying to take my own jacket/coat. I told the waitress that I suffer fro

One of the best Moroccan restaurant I’ve been to. Every dish is full of authentic Moroccan flavor, and you can really taste the quality. The tangia was incredible—the meat was so tender it literally melted in my mouth, full of rich, delicious flavor. The bakoula was my favorite and the best I’ve ever had. Everything tasted homemade, just like in Morocco. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real M

Great atmosphere and delicious food! I loved the cozy, relaxed vibe of this place. The staff were very polite and helpful. The lamb kebab pita sandwich was amazing - the well seasoned lamb and grilled vegetables were served hot and paired perfectly with the rich tahini sauce. It was quite filling and satisfying. I'll be back again for sure.

Louisiana-inspired fast-food chain known for its crispy fried chicken, chicken sandwiches & fries.
I came here after my work almost every day. They always welcome me with a smile. They serve food fast rather than any other Popeyes . They never disappointing me with food quality. And the good thing they always give dipping sauce if I ask them or refill the drink. I like their service they provide.

Super happy with this place! 10/10 would recommend for some authentic New York style pizza. They have pay by the slice and whole pie options. What I loved most though is after warming up your pizza in the oven, they dress it with fresh olive oil, basil, etc. Friendly staff. I'd come back here in a heartbeat. Not a ton of reviews right now so I assume it's newer but man, it was good!

Laid-back restaurant serving comfort food classics like pizza, fried chicken, pasta & sandwiches.
Big Slice Pizza 🍕in NY is just as common as the numerous billboards in Manhattan, they are everywhere and you can’t ignore them. A visit to NY without a big slice Pizza 🍕, a burger or a hot dog 🌭 is just not a visit. So after our pub hopping of a sort we went to this place near port authority bus terminal, place recommended by my kids and oh my my, La Pizza Italia serves amazing variety of Pizza in small, always busy place. Do try their different varieties, I mean the toppings. We loved Vo

Meal was pretty yummy. lots of flavor. ordered the large sauerkraut fish combo and was worth the price. staff extremely attentive and spoke pretty much only mandarin so might be a little hard to talk to if you are a foreigner but it was a pleasant experience for me. got the milk tea which was pretty average and a pretty solid choice. signed up for membership and walked away with a free keychain and 30 dollars off my meal. will definitely come back. lots of complementary dishes so was super happy

Cool vibe of a place. A couple friends and I went for a late brunch and it was good at first with mimosas and good music. Once our orders were placed they told us we may have to move because of a preexisting reservation however past 430 the place becomes more of a lounge. They told us we could find a seat at the bar but by the time we were finished eating but they were trying to get us to leave the table ASAP even though nobody had arrived Make sure to make reservations in advance

I came for brunch and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the tuna with crispy rice and the salmon set. The tuna was amazing. Highly recommend. The jalapeño gave it a slight spiciness that complimented the crispy rice and the fish. The salmon was okay. I do wish the mayo was not as overpowering, but it was still pretty good. I did not get the mimosa package, but I’ve heard it’s a really good deal with good quality drinks. Oh and the to go box is gorgeous ;).

This place is truly a gem! I’ve been coming all the way from Queens just for the tacos, and after a few visits, I had to finally leave a review. I tried the cucumber margarita, absolutely delicious & great price .The mango michelada was also really good. They welcome you with chips and salsa, which is such a nice touch. We also ordered the guacamole and chips; great portion and super fresh. Now, the tacos… you must try the cochinita pibil. The flavors are incredibly delicious and perfectly se

Underground den of mixology featuring a vast menu of handcrafted cocktails in a snug space.
Strong mildew smell. Wandered in here with my partner, and we enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks, but we had difficulty breathing because the air had a heavy mildew smell. It gave me a bad headache so we had to leave early after one drink. I suspect it was a dirty A/C they had running. Hope they fix it so I can come back to enjoy more cocktails and great jazz music.

Mexican eatery with modern takes on the cuisine & an extensive tequila list in a colorful room.
We stopped by this place for dinner after attending a church service at St. Ignatius on the Upper East Side. As walk-ins, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated at the bar seating, which we appreciated given that the space is relatively compact. The staff were friendly and attentive, setting a positive tone for the evening. We ordered the beef and shrimp tacos, and they were excellent — very tasty and nicely presented. For dessert, we had the churros, which were good but felt more like a comm

I found the buffet restaurant clean & well organized. You can do take out here & if you ask, they can even make your food spicy or non spicy. You just have to ask. Adults can pay about $22-$30 at the buffet. The kids will be cheaper at the buffet, but the restaurant uses your child's height to determine price. There's also a small liquor bar here inside the restaurant. Free patking is available here at the Bartow Mall where the buffet is located. Food delivery is also available.

My friends and I came here for our mini reunion and had such a blast. Finally, a place in NYC that a college student can afford more than two drinks. I was so shocked to see cocktails for as low as $8 and green tea shots for $4 each. I love this place, and if you care about a little discount per drink then bring cash. The place is jumping and packed so expect to be rushed around and squeezed at a small little table. Drinks came out relatively quickly although we waited on two orders of fries for
