Some of the best Thai food in Astoria. The fried rice, mocktails and Nutella fried ice cream taste amazing. The portions are very filling for the price as well. The staff are amazing, especially Amy who made sure our experience was memorable. It’s a perfect place for a casual dining experience or a date night. Will definitely be returning soon!!

This is the second time I’ve gotten food from this café. I’d like to say a few words. The food is prepared very well—it’s delicious. The prices are a bit on the high side, admittedly, but the most important things—the quality of the food and the service—are excellent. I ordered a dish with two eggs but received only one; by way of apology, they treated me to a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend it.

Classic counter-serve restaurant serving a variety of filled dough pockets, plus rice balls.
This place was actually Plan C, since Plan A and Plan B would both require 1hr+ wait. The city don't joke around with brunch... anyways we walked in after seeing street sign advertising their "Pizzas", so it turned out to be NOT what we expected but that's cool too. They feature two things - the Trapizzini is a triangle bread with filling and the Suppli is a fried risotto ball - each with a variety of flavor options. These bread pockets were soft but firm (also the ideal mattress), buttered up

The food here is so good. The lobster for lunch special is amazing. The red rice roll just blew my mind. I just pick this restaurant very randomly on Google and it actually surprised me. Another dish that I would recommend is garlic spared ribs. It’s so flavorful and juicy inside even though it was fried. My party is 5 and average is 35 per person. Very good deal in New York. The staff is pretty nice. Definitely recommend and will comeback!!!!!

Funky, colorful venue offering creative Caribbean classics, plus desserts, rum & outdoor seating.
Incredible meal at Omar’s Kitchen! The food is packed with flavor and the presentation is beautiful. Highlights were definitely the oxtail, jerk chicken gnocci and the saltfish fritters. It’s the perfect place for a lively dinner with friends. 10/10 would recommend, staff is super friendly with above and beyond on recommendations. Tried festival for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. The jerk chicken gnocchi was my most favorite dish. I will never forget it and I cannot wait to com

I had such an amazing experience at Maison Provenance last night. The ambiance was cozy, charming, and truly felt like a beautiful French escape in Brooklyn. Chef Lolo was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and kind. He made us feel like part of the family, which made the entire evening even more special. One of my favorite moments was getting to practice my French with him, which added such a personal and authentic touch to the experience. The food and drinks were outstanding from beginning to

We came here for my sister’s birthday dinner with my family and absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the space felt very cozy and homey, with a beautiful karaoke/music area and twinkle lights that created such a fun, welcoming vibe. Our waiter, Aynura, was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience even better. We also had the pleasure of meeting the restaurant owner, who was such a kind and welcoming man. He was very helpful

Food was cooked on induction stoves (visible from the bar seating in the back)which made the food not have that classic Chinese wok taste and didn't give much time for the flavors to really sink in. We got the eggplant, fried rice and crispy chicken. Flavor profile was either not present at all or really salty with not much depth, very one dimensional. For the cost of the dishes I expected more. However the crispy chicken had good texture and taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cu

I had an incredible dining experience at this fantastic, women-owned restaurant and cannot recommend it enough. Every single dish blew me away. The Food Shrimp Idli: The curry was wonderfully creamy, paired perfectly with soft idlis and perfectly cooked shrimp. Chicken Kofta: This dish had so many dimensions. The chicken was spicy and bursting with flavor—exactly how I like it—and the pairing with mango salsa absolutely took me to food heaven. Lobster: I went back on Day 2 just to try this! I

Beloved old-school joint furnishing thin-crust coal-oven pizza to Coney Island crowds since 1924.
Really good pizza! Thin and crispy with good crust. Multiple bag of flour and mixer in sight as all doe is made fresh daily.

Bustling counter-service joint featuring inventive bagels, coffee & salads, plus an open kitchen.
While in New York, stopping for a bagel is basically a must—and Bagel Market did not disappoint for a first NYC bagel experience. Located right in Midtown, the spot has that classic no-frills, fast-paced New York vibe. You walk in and immediately see a wide spread of freshly made bagels along with a huge selection of cream cheese flavors, which already sets the tone that you’re about to get something legit. I went with an onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was exactly what you’d ho

Edit: They were great the first time, but the second time, Chicken Tikka Marsala had way too much sugar. The guy at the register has a poor service and definitely not friendly, no smile, no you're welcome. Asked to take 1/2 the food take away, he brought a bag and a container and dripped them on the table. Everyday option for traditional Cantonese recipes & dim sum in an unpretentious atmosphere.
Came here for Father's Day dinner and was not disappointed. The food came out quickly. The Roasted Beef Tenderloin in Red Wine Sauce was amazing. The sauce was savory, and the beef was incredibly tender—a 10/10 dish! The waiters were friendly and attentive, frequently changing our plates and making sure we were satisfied with each dish. This is definitely one of the top three places for Cantonese cuisine. I will definitely come back for dinner and will also give lunch a try to test their dim sum

Comfortable destination showcasing creative specialty rolls & sushi, plus daily specials.
Absolutely loved this place! The sushi was delicious and everything tasted super fresh. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating—especially since I’m not a fan of seaweed. They were happy to substitute it with soy wrap for me, which made the experience even better. Really appreciated the attention to detail and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Brooklyn-born fast-food chain offering signature hot dogs, fries, burgers & more.
We didn’t realize that the Nathan’s on the boardwalk wasn’t the flagship location- shame on us for not paying attention/ researching more thoroughly. There wasn’t a line, so we walked up to the counter to be greeted by a young person who had zero customer service skills. Trying to order a hot dog ( with coney sauce/chili & cheese) and a root beer was rather painful. We got through it and were served quickly at least. They pack the ice in the cup so you get very little soda. We liked the grille

Popular eatery serving Middle Eastern favorites like pitzas in a comfortable setting.
Probably the best middle eastern food we have eaten so far. It was Christmas night and we were so tired after driving forever to see Rockefeller na sit being so busy. We were trying to find a place open and after about an hour I find this place and go. We were super hungry and don’t really care. On appearance this place looks kind of sketchy. It’s super small and can fit at most like 10-15 people inside. But it makes it kind of fun. We order their falafel, falafel sandwich, baba Tanish, tabboule
