I recently visited Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. and I can honestly say it’s one of the most unique and memorable coffee experiences I’ve had in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed — the kind of place where you actually want to slow down and enjoy your time. The staff is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes a huge difference. The coffee is on another level. If you’re used to standard coffee shops, this will feel lik

Classic Sichuan noodle, rice & vegetable dishes, some with a modern twist, in streamlined surrounds.
Good Sichuan spot in midtown! We got some classics like cucumber salad, mapo tofu and green peppercorn chicken which I loved. I also really liked the fried noodles with chicken. The truffle fried rice was very truffle heavy so if you’re a fan of that you’ll love it. Service was great and our dishes came quick and served hot. Overall it has all the classics and a good variety.

i love this spot! the staff here are always so warm and welcoming, and the food is excellent— i love the lamb shawarma wrap and the hummus & labneh are both some of the best i’ve had. you can tell each dish is prepared with intention and everything is always fresh. i have only positive feedback to share about this place and strongly recommend it!

I got two scones ( 13$) with butter and blackberry jam. They close at 1 pm and I got there at 12:30 and was the last person they let in. There was a line but they were super quick so wasn’t a long wait at all. The scone itself was very good but the jam was one of the best things I’ve EVER had. 10/10, no doubt. And then the combination with the melted, salted butter was amazing! Too be honest, after one scone I was already full, so don’t underestimate the size. And a shout out for the staff, they

Popular, no-frills venue for specialty Chinese noodle dishes, soups & dumplings.
Crossing the bridge noodles and the braised chicken noodle bowl — one light broth, one dark with a molasses kind of flavor. This place can do both, let me tell you. And our server was so fun. I’ll be back to split the c. Bridge noodles because damn that was a big bowl of broth

Humble Tex-Mex restaurant fixing up tacos, tortas & chalupas, plus margaritas & creative cocktails.
Three stars only because the service was very good. 1.5 stars for the food. We started with nachos. I liked the cheese sauce, but for my friend, it was meh because the sauce was a bit watery/runny. The flavors were good though. For the entrees: The chicken mole was absolutely horrible. The balance of flavors was off-putting. And the plate arrived very hot (we were warned not to touch) as if it had been microwaved. The meat in the beef tacos wasn’t well-seasoned, and it wasn’t served with a

We got the chicken parm and caeser salad. The chicken was overcooked and not really crisp. The salad was also too vinegary for us. I will say the bruschetta is really good and their pizza is pretty good. Tiramisu was good not great

Ole & Steen is a chain of Danish bakeries and cafes in Midtown Manhattan, set in a busy stretch where it functions as a steady stop for both commuters and people grabbing a slower breakfast or coffee break. The space feels bright and open, with a constant flow of customers coming in and out throughout the day. It has more of a casual, lived-in energy than a quiet café, especially during peak morning and lunch hours. The bakery case is the main focus when you walk in, lined with pastries and bak

I think I just found a new hidden gem! The food here is absolutely incredible, honestly some of the most delicious Korean food I’ve ever had. Everything tasted so authentic and comforting. Even my friends couldn’t stop talking about it! They said it’s the best Korean food they’ve ever had. On top of that, the service was amazing. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is really nice as well as cozy, and very clean. I would 100% recommen

I have a lot to say about John’s Pizzeria, some positive and some criticisms. They have a lot of variety on their menu, and they are the only pizzeria on the block. The prices are higher than your typical NYC pizzeria but when you see the restaurant aspect of the place serving hot pastas and cooked dishes, you can see why they are charging the extra premium. I don’t classify it as a a pizzeria, it’s a restaurant. They also justify the price tag by sending out a healthy portion size, honestly one

Showed up on a Monday night right at open and was able to be seated almost immediately after customers with reservations! Everything on the menu was stellar - we ordered the eggplant, snails, rice roll appetizers and for entree we had Bún Đậu Đặc Biệt. Everything was outstanding from texture, flavor, and alllll the side sauces were also a highlight. Left us wanting to try more as other dishes came out of the kitchen. One of those curiosities happened to be the Nước Sâm. Don’t sleep on the drink

It might have been the time we were there (2pm) but regardless dim sum should be hot not cold. The heater thing was not turned on in the dim sum cart so everything got cold. The har gao was not it tho. That was just a dumpling with a shrimp on top. See picture … Some of the kitchen dishes were good but no bueno on the dim sum sorry! I love the parking availability and servers were nice.

Four Four South Village is a Taiwanese restaurant in Flushing focused on comforting noodle dishes and classic Taiwanese flavors. The space has a casual, approachable feel that makes it an easy spot for a satisfying meal, especially when craving a warm bowl of beef noodle soup. I was walking from dyker heights to bay ridge yesterday and decided to get some juice to cool down. I had visited vara juice multiple times, with each time being a pleasant experience and yesterday's visit was no exception. I ordered a large strawberry banana smoothie. It came out delicious per usual. I prefer vara juice to the other juice bars in bay ridge. My only gripe with them is that nowthey only have one person working there, so just be patient. Excellent service and delicious food! The food was well-prepared, tasty, and fresh. Everything appeared spotless and well-organized, and the hot food and pastries were great. The perfect working man’s meal! 2734 Jerome in the Bronx is home to Shalon, a Dominican restaurant with food that is so tasty you will lick your fingers for hours if any of it drips on it. Best of all is their oversized lunch specials for only $7 that I get to share with my son and still have left overs for today’s lunch. This place is a Bronx gem for those who love Latino food!

This warm, colorful neighborhood eatery provides classic Thai cuisine, plus beer & wine.
Hero Thai & Izakaya is such a fun and memorable dining spot. One of the cutest things on the menu is their Thai iced tea with a teddy bear shaped ice, which slowly dissolves into the drink such a creative and adorable touch. 🧸🧋 The food was just as impressive. The Pad See Ew had perfectly cooked noodles with rich, savory flavor, and the Pad Gra Pow with chicken was incredibly aromatic, spicy, and satisfying. Great combination of playful presentation and seriously delicious Thai food! 🍜🔥

★★★★★ Such a great sushi spot! The restaurant has a beautiful, clean, and relaxing atmosphere with really nice lighting and decor. The sushi was fresh, well-presented, and tasted amazing. Everything came out nicely prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a perfect place for a casual dinner, date night, or a nice meal with friends. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi and a comfortable dining experience.

Longtime Upper East Side Irish bar & restaurant with a low-key feel & a grown-up following.
I absolutely used to love this bar until the bar owner (I think - Blonde woman) treated myself and my group like pure filth on her shoe during what should have been a very fun spirited evening. Very unexpected, out of the blue, comes up to our table pointing her finger and yelling calling us liars and saying one of our group cursed at her (just didn’t happen?). Saying we haven’t ordered enough drinks and food (we spent $200+ in 10 mins of the game starting) and spent easily more PP than our adj

I visited Khalil Biryani in Jamaica and ordered a few items. Unfortunately, the chicken roast was not good at all. The salad seemed like it wasn’t fresh, possibly a few days old. However, the dal and alu bhorta were quite good. The tehari was average—not bad, but nothing special. What was disappointing was the staff behavior. They didn’t seem cooperative and came across as disrespectful at times. When asking for something, the response felt dismissive, which affected the overall experience. I
