I ordered the beef broth hot pot at max spice. The broth was adequately rich and creamy. The touch of vinegar was excellent for slurping down broth at the end. The peanut sauce on top of everything brought a sweet balance. Much appreciated. Quite a surprise came to me as I saw the many vegetable options given in my bowl. TBH I do not expect to be served seaweed knots, black fungus, or tofu skin in this part of upper Manhattan. I moved from Manhattan's Chinatown to Harlem so I no longer have mor

My friend and I wanted some warm soup in the cold winter, so we found this gem around the area! Really quick service and the owner was so considerate and sweet. We got the army stew, seafood pancake and steamed dumplings (also can order as fried). Everything hit the spot and we even had enough as leftover to take home as two people eating! Definitely a really good lunch/dinner spot and will definitely be coming back!

BEST BREAKFAST UPTOWN! I have my pastrami sandwich and bagels for breakfast and this corner is the best quality/price option around this neighborhood. They have so many options to go for (even mixing your preferred ingredients for your dream sandwich) that you can rarely run out of options to eat. The employees are very kind and the food is fresh and served very hot.

Haven is a true gem of the Upper West Side. The inside is really beautiful, and is able to host quite a few guests. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of meeting Keith, an uber-talented bartender that makes the BEST creative cocktails. I ordered the Miss B Haven, which was both smooth and complex, offering flavors of spiciness, smokiness, and just a touch of sweet. He also made us his signature Lavender Haze (a lil bit of a secret menu item hehe), one of my fave drinks in NYC. We got quite a

We came here without a reservation but sat down immediately. Both indoor and outdoor dining were available. We came at the perfect timing-sunset. We were celebrating my friend’s birthday. We got calamari, four cheese pizza, and truffle Parmesan fries. Everything was perfect. The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and respectful. I think her name was Mariana? Young girl. She also put our leftovers in two containers split portions for both me and my friend. Took very nice pictures of us too. W

Worst Chinese food ever My daughter is hot and Sarah Son was more like a drop soup in my egg drop soup was more like hot and sour soup . The pad Thai contained onions i’m allergic to onions …and green peppers had no bean sprouts or egg and did not have any of the famous peanut sauce. The noodles were dry.Horrible save your $ get a sandwich or pizza.

The store is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They offer bagels, sandwiches, platters, wraps, salads, pancakes 🥞, french toast and beverages. Atul Bakery is one of those places I saw on Google Maps and didn't think much of. The menu prices put me off right away. Eight, nine dollars for items you could make at home or eat in India for a fraction of the cost feels steep. Without knowing the portion size going in, the price point is questionable at best. We tried the veggie pizza and the masala puff. The masala puff uses the same potato and seasoning base they seem to run across the whole menu. The flavor was fine, but the size was smal

This is definitely a tight spot that is usually super crowded but I stumbled past it on a rare rainy morning where it was only half full so I got to try it out. The host is also the server and I believe it's just one person for the four tables, they were very nice and pleasant, and most importantly efficient. I tried the mango coco crepe and the mango latte. Both were good! I kind of assumed the crepe would be filled with coconutty sticky rice ... It wasn't, but I think I just made that assumpti

Great slice!!! Really high quality delicious pizza. Clearly they are passionate about what they do. Came on a Sunday afternoon, watched them cranking out pizzas. Got the broken burrata slice fresh out of the oven. Amazing! Loved the sauce, light crispy crust and creamy burrata. Owner was very friendly and asked what we thought. Overall great slice with little to no line to wait.

Incredible food. Really good price. We got chicken parm pizza and it's the best I've ever eaten, no exaggeration. We also got zeppole and they were deliciously crispy - usually delivery zeppole are soggy. NOT THESE. just a really great experience all around, we'll be ordering from them again.

Casa de Julia absolutely blew me away. Chef Jeff prepared the most amazing camarones a la diabla—hands down one of the best plates I’ve ever had in NYC. Perfectly cooked shrimp, bold heat, incredible flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the passion and skill in every bite. If you’re looking for unforgettable food and top-tier cooking, Casa de Julia is a must. I’ll be thinking about that dish for a long time and will definitely be back! 🔥🍤

Tried Makina in Sunnyside and overall the food was very good. The injera bruschetta was super creative and really flavorful great balance of warm spices with a nice touch of acidity, and the fried injera chips were a smart idea. My only complaint is the portion ratio: they gave very few chips compared to the amount of bruschetta, so I had no choice but to order a whole extra side for $4.50, which felt unnecessary. The prawns were excellent nice amount of fat and smokiness, cooked really well. E

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting. The hookah is smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care — no harsh pulls at all. The food is surprisingly good for a lounge, fresh, well-seasoned, and perfect for sharing while you relax. The music sets the tone without being overwhelming, making it a great spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or celebrate a special night. Randomly came across this restaurant on google maps and so happy I did! The food was incredible!! We had akra, oxtail Mac, lamb chops, and kale salad. All of which was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. It appears everything is made to order so it did take a little while but was worth the wait.

We came around 9pm and it was still very crowded. There were kiosk for self-ordering. It took a long time to get our order. We spent about $100 which was very expensive for the items we got IMO. The Mochi texture was too hard for my taste. When tapiocas sit on top of shaved ice, they got hard and chewy. Overall, it’s not worth the price.

While the food was great, the service was terrible. We walked in and had to figure out what to do. After seating, they just expect you to know to scan the QR code even though it’s “dine in”. The menu was a bit confusing but we eventually sent in our order. They don’t tell you that the chopsticks were in the drawer, and when the food came out, they don’t tell us which dish is which. They also don’t ask you if you need anything else or had any questions. We ended up needing more napkins and ginger

Seating is limited, get there early. Got the chicken sandwich. Chicken was tender and very good. Wish I'd gotten the spicier sauce; the sweetness of the plantains would have paired excellently with a stronger kick. Also got the squash soup, which was good; but was too full from the sandwich to eat very much. Sandwich is very filling, so keep that in mind when ordering.

I don't think we agree on what a quesadilla is. Typically, quesadillas have cheese in them. Not on them. I have ordered from this place twice and both times the quesadillas are basically unrolled burritos covered in cheese and sour cream. I never experienced a place that insists on filling the "quesadilla" with rice and beans, and no cheese. Twice, no less. Yikes. PS— in store the default tip is 22%, so if you decide to go, make sure you don't tip $7 on a $27 order — $13 of which are a quesadil
