Pho & banh mi feature on the broad Vietnamese menu at this casual, minimalist cafe.
This is a no-frills neighborhood restaurant suitable for daily lunch, snacks, and dinner. I walked by this restaurant for many times and noticed it’s always packed. We came here for lunch and two of us ordered vegan duck summer rolls as the starter, beef rib pho noddle soup and pineapple shrimp vermicelli as the main entree. The vegan duck summer rolls were well presented and delicious. Both entree were served in a big bowl and the portion was large and good enough for two meals to be honest. We

Fine-dining destination for Northern Chinese plates set in an elegant Art Deco-inspired space.
Had a really great lunch at Hutong. The space feels upscale but the food still tastes authentic and flavorful. Loved the spicy wontons and the lobster with scrambled eggs. The duck was also surprisingly good. Service was attentive and the portions were generous. Definitely a great spot for a nice lunch or dinner in Midtown.

We ordered the garlic fried rice, Lumpiang Shanghai, spicy goat meat with tomato sauce, and fried butterfish. The garlic fried rice and Lumpiang Shanghai were enjoyable, but the biggest disappointment was the fish, it had a noticeably fishy smell that made it hard to eat. We went on a Friday evening, but it wasn’t busy. Service was alright, though we had to go up to the counter to get our bill because our server wasn’t paying attention and was on her phone. This is my first time at this restaurant during happy hour 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday and 10:00 p.m - 12:00 a.m. I had oysters, corn ribs, truffle French fries, grilled Spanish Octopus. The food was so delicious and savory with different spices. Our friendly server is Jamil and who provided additional recommendations. My favorite dish is the oysters and definitely will be dining here again. The atmosphere was very relaxing with music. Desserts were lava cake and crème brûlée.

I come to this Pokeworks super frequently because the quality of the fish, the rice, and the toppings are always great. I am a healthy eater, and I try to find repeatable healthy meals that are tasty. Highly recommend this spot for poke. To double down, Angie, one of the staff, is incredibly friendly every single time I come in. She remembers my order and is always amicable. Thank you Angie & Pokeworks for the great service and meal!

Cheers! Signature cocktail, tastes of sweet melon and crushed sugar; nice on a warm breezy evening. I can't remember the names of the dishes, I just asked for a taste of Tyger. The first dish was a savory, sweet and sour veggie mix on a crispy chip, a delicious beginning with just enough heat to open the palate. The second dish was steamed in a savory beef broth, veggies like broccolini and leaks sprinkled with peanuts; a nice savory and crunchy course, the broth was so good the best part, we

This place is honestly so beautiful, but what makes it special for me is the people. I feel really grateful because most places I go to, I’ve been lucky to meet kind and welcoming staff and this restaurant is no exception. When I like a place, I tend to go back often, and now they already recognize me and greet me, which makes me so happy. I love that familiar feeling 🤣 The first time I went, I wanted to try pho. Classic Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches served in a tiny, bare-bones counter-service shop.
A fantastic little gem in Chinatown for quick, delicious, and authentic Vietnamese food. Their menu has a great variety of sandwiches, some noodle dishes, and snacks, all at very reasonable prices. My go-to is the #13 Bánh Mì Thịt Nguội, the Vietnamese cold cut special, which is always packed with flavorful meats, pâté, fresh herbs, and crunchy pickled vegetables on a perfectly crisp bread. Every bite is incredibly satisfying. Everything I’ve tried here has been fresh, tasty, and consistently go

Tangera Chinese Food – A Flavorful Experience! The food was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. Every dish had just the right balance of spice and taste. Their fried rice, noodles, and sauces were amazing—tasted just like authentic Chinese street food! The portion size was generous and the quality was consistent. Definitely worth trying again. Most authentic malaysian food I have ever had in the states! Curry claypot beef tasted like home. Hainan chicken is good too, especially the skin and tender meat. Also, we got the belacan three vege mix (okra, eggplant and string beans) and they were so generous with the dried shrimp in the belacan! Totally recommend this malaysian restaurant!

One of the best Malaysian meals I've had outside of Malaysia. It truly was quite authentic. The chicken satay was delicious and nicely charred, the hookien mee, beef rendang was also delicious. My son had the nasi lemak and while he liked it, he didn't like the fried chicken wings. They had plenty of drink options and I personally loved my order of grass jelly and lychee drink. Probably the best choice for a cheap happy hour good time because their signature lychee martinis for only $10 are to die for. I will say the vibe is nice with ambient lighting and nice greenery with the long monstera plants. I have not tried the food so I can’t speak on it but I have always come here for a good cheap cocktail till late night. Solid choice to start your night in LES. I honestly don’t get the hype around this place. We came in excited because of all the reviews and the fact that they apparently won a momo crawl, but the experience ended up being pretty disappointing. We ordered the jhol momo, goat sekuwa, chicken sekuwa, and laphing. The only thing we actually liked was the goat sekuwa. It was decent, flavorful enough, and cooked well. Everything else missed the mark. The jhol momo was the biggest disappointment. The broth had this weird bitter taste, and t

Shrinkflation has hit Joju and I’m very sad about it. I’ve frequented Joju for so many years now, and today when I bought their pork belly bahn mi and loaded kimchi fries, my mom and I were shocked by the new portions. The sandwich, I kid you not is half the size of what it used to be even just a few months ago. The fries portion was cut by 1/3. The prices are still like old. I understand that expenses are rising, but I rather would have liked their old portions for an increase in price. Now, t

Another delicious stop. Not my first visit in SoHo, and yes, there’s always a line, which kind of tells you everything you need to know. 🙌 The wait is not too bad though, about 10-15min. La Cabra offers excellent coffee and bakery treats in a clean, modern, minimalistic space. It gets busy quickly, so if you’re picky about your pastry selection, early bird surely wins here. Their pho is clear and flavorful, I had their lotus fries which is something new to me, was interesting, fun and tasty, def prefer this lotus fries over just fries tbh. Mo wings soy garlic was fire! Their beverages were also really good, I think its been a while since every dish did not disappointed me so far. Heard about this place and decided to drop by for a coffee. However, after ordering, they suggested trying their turon, which was fantastic.
