This is the perfect place to come for your birthday because they bring you a cake, play a birthday song on their TV and the entire restaurant is cheering for you! 😂 And of course the food is amazing! The arepa (reina pepiada) was delicious. The staff was very enthusiastic. Beautiful Latin music in the background. Participating in the birthday celebration made it even more fun. This place is a whole experience.

Even tho I know the neighborhood loves this spot. I must admit I am not a fan of this spot Especially when you talk about a Peruvian food, you often talk about flavor which this food had very little of. Ordered the Filet Mignon only got 3 little pieces that disappeared in the fries and vegetables 😑 The Baked Chicken had very little flavor Yuca fries so big and thick.. Then I asked if I could order Chaufa with 3 which usually means Shrimp,Chicken,Steak But they would not oblige, even tho I was w

A great experience overall. The food was really good, the server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food took a bit to come but totally worth the wait. A great place to relax and enjoy your meal. We ordered the tuna ceviche to start. We loved the taste but not for someone that does not like taste of lime. The Covina a lo Macho was amazing. Great for someone who likes a medley of sea food in a single dish. Our parents ordered the Salmon Quinotto and that was great too. Portion sizes are pre

Extremely delicious food packed with flavor. Just be warned that having certain items like salmon or shrimp on your plate will make the price $12.99 per pound instead of $10.99. The plate below cost me $30 so definitely be careful before you go too wild! But I happily finished everything it was so worth it. Standouts were the rice, beans, corn with cheese, plantains, chicken curry

We LOVED Arepas Cafe. We heard about it from the Taste Buds series on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. The vibe / atmosphere is so fun, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out hot and FRESH. An order of empanadas and one arepa was plenty of food for two. This was a wonderful little neighborhood spot and I would highly recommend!

The food was great. I asked for multiple trays of bread which was super delicious. The service was slow maybe because we ate on Christmas night with a big party. When the food arrived it was super hot and fresh. The desserts were yummy and sweet. I recommend the lava cake and tres leches. Stopped in for a late lunch while in town for work and had a solid experience overall. The pernil was tender and well pulled but the skin lacked that signature crunch you expect from a proper cuero — if you know PR food, you know that's the difference maker. The arroz con gandules was decent but could've used a stronger sofrito base. Maduros were fine. The real stars were the besito de coco — absolutely nailed it — and the coffee, which was legitimately strong and exactly what I needed. The vib

My first time eating Dominican food and and I am hooked! We were greeted and seated right away. The place was buzzing with energy. Luckily, we were there with folks who know all about what to order. Yes, I had mufungo. Mine with chicken and that amazing gravy. Hubster add a seafood version that shamed paella. Trust me...try it! The sweet plantain was deep fried and was better than candy. I dreamed of topping them with vanilla ice cream. To close, the service was unmatched. We wanted for nothing

Reasonable prices. The food is so good 😋. The restaurant is packed, but I recommend it because the food is so worth it. I had rice and beans, mofongo plain with fried cheese on the side, and garlic on the side for the mofongo. It was slamming! They serve it with a salad 😋👍🏼. A must try.

Great lunch special for ~$15 But the hidden banger was the soup of the day. For $8 a hearty lentil chicken soup. Omg! I’ll be thinking about this soup for a while… The lunch special chicken was juicy and flavorful and absolutely bangin’ with the Aji Verde. Rice and beans were solid loved the tenderness of the beans themselves. Not the biggest fan of the dressing on the side salad but they are generous with the avocado. Would love to try some of their other dishes.

We had a group of 8, with a last minute addition of 1 person. Some of the group were delayed but the policy said everyone had to be present for seating. Somewhat frustrating!!! Last night we had an absolutely incredible experience at this Brazilian restaurant. From the very first moment, everything felt special. I had a quentão drink that was simply amazing — warm, flavorful, and perfectly comforting. We ordered coxinha, bobó de camarão, and a mandioquinha purée, and every single dish was delicious and authentic. To finish, we had banoffee for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending. It truly felt like being transported back to Brazil — a warm hug to the heart. T

I am a registered nurse and after a long exhausting day at work I stopped here around 7:50 pm to grab a simple meal.
