We LOVED Arepas Cafe. We heard about it from the Taste Buds series on TikTok, and it did not disappoint. The vibe / atmosphere is so fun, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out hot and FRESH. An order of empanadas and one arepa was plenty of food for two. This was a wonderful little neighborhood spot and I would highly recommend!

The food was great. I asked for multiple trays of bread which was super delicious. The service was slow maybe because we ate on Christmas night with a big party. Great lunch special for ~$15 But the hidden banger was the soup of the day. For $8 a hearty lentil chicken soup. Omg! I’ll be thinking about this soup for a while… The lunch special chicken was juicy and flavorful and absolutely bangin’ with the Aji Verde. Rice and beans were solid loved the tenderness of the beans themselves. Not the biggest fan of the dressing on the side salad but they are generous with the avocado. As a Peruvian it has been a pleasant experience with the music, the waitress all nice and friendly Yahira served us a nice ceviche, cause, anticuchos, and spaghetti Al pesto. Personally liked the Beef salteña over the Chicken salteña. Dough reminded me of beef patti with a slight crisp and were not raw. Highly recommend pairing them with the green sauce which made the meal better than good.
